Not had food here but it's a great pub very friendly staff and customers we really like it and do go back quite often.

Fantastic little pub overlooking the canal. Cold beer, freindly staff, karaoke and live music. Birthday parties here as well are always fun and people freindly.

Good beers and very friendly pub

A warm and comfortable place. We came to see about having food, unfortunately they have done food for a while since before lockdown. Was a shame but a nice place for first visit.

Lovely little pub still doing table service outside which was nice, with a good selection of beverages served by friendly staff

Visited for outdoor afternoon drinks. Staff were v.organised and friendly. Drinks are good value for money. Lots of seating in the beer garden, large gazebo should it rain.

Proper Old Style Pub near the river and canal. Bet its nice in summer sat outside. Will call in again when I m up that way.

Ace...best pub in Mexborough by a mile. Beer at it's best and competitive in price.

First impression, fellow serving at the bar needs a holiday, didn’t see any friendliness and never broke into a smile. Apart from that,the beer was good and the food was excellent, there is a car park but it’s small for the size of the pub. You lost a star for the miserable bar man.

Great little pub Sunday lunch is lovely, soup and full Sunday roast for £6. Drinks are reasonably priced. Staff is very welcoming will def be going back, can't fault it

Fantastic venue - really cosy local pub good range of drinks to suit all tasteith a very welcoming couple Mick & Lisa who are very attentive - a great combination of regulars and visitors who arrive by reputation - a truley great local - was back in October - John Smith's £2:30 a pint - I think only wetherspoons beats that in Mexborough 😀

I used to have a few pints in here from time to time. The real beers and ales were excellent. The staff were friendly and there was a lively atmosphere occasionally. Sports and leisure programmes were regularly on the television. There was space to drink outdoors as well. I've chilled out outside with a pint once or twice.

People singing karaoke are terrible pls no more 👌🏼

Overall a nice meal for 4, unfortunately leaving the plastic wrap on the T bone steak while cooking and savingit was a bit chewy .
