We were there the day before Saint Patrick's Day, so along with the matches, there was a huge crowd and we stood for the first hour before nabbing a table. But service was good, music was nice. My husband ordered stew and probably because it was the end in the pot it was overly thick, but all in all a great night.

We spent a Saturday evening at this pub. The staff were very kind and gave great advice on several Irish whiskeys. The Guinness pour was great. There was a group of men playing traditional music in the corner, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended this pub

I have eaten at the Garrick many times and returned on Saturday, the first day of the Christmas season, for a late lunch with a group of 8. The place was crazy busy as ever, but service was excellent from Michael, Rory and team. My pie of the day was gorgeous with delicious champ and some of our party had their first Xmas dinner of the year! As for the pints of Guinness and wee drams….equally excellent! Will be back again soon.

One of the best pubs and restaurants in the city of Belfast. When someone told me about how delicious The Garrick’s food is, I doubted. Because, as a Nigerian, I’m used to our delicious African meals. You know, the pepper, fresh vegetables, etc. Well, as someone who loves to try new things, I decided to buy one of their food and man, it was deliciously delicious 😋. And the pub? Well, I don’t drink but I love way the customer service is top notch — they’re friendly and knowledgeable. One thing I observed as well is that people, the customers, who visit the pub or bar are well mannered and nice people. Anyways, is this a restaurant I recommend? Yes! I’ll be buying again from them. I hope you found this helpful? If you do, kindly give me a thumbs up and follow me for more reviews as I journey across this earth (and space) 😀

Don't worry won't be back. Definitely not worth the extra cost. Before entering we were told it was dog friendly. They're not! We were here this afternoon for Sunday dinner. We were told about the special offer by one of the female staff members. Shortly after food arrived was approached by the bearded bald guy that won't be welcome back. Also whoever he was didnt introduce himself. If he was manager or staff didnt make it known. Said something about other diners and quiet meal and that I wouldn't be welcome back. To be fair other people didn't seem bothered. In fact an American lady was petting my dog so was one of the waitresses. Also the football was on and people in the bar were louder. Anyway put us off our meal! The guy who approached me during me should have waited to speak to us when we were paying the bill and not when i was havig a meal It was very unprofessional and unpleasant. We were charged the full price because we left shortly after the main because of this. Was not a great experience. We've gone to other bars which are genuinely dog friendly and don't have issues. Dog wasn't barking long before asking to leave. If dont like barking dog then dont say youre dog friendly.

Lovely woodwork & clever use of mirrors though I would dim the main lighting a bit. A good place to watch sport with numerous tv's. We called in here one evening this week , asked for a pint and a half of Guinness, my partner then asked for a small amount of blackcurrant in her drink , the small guy behind the bar ( with a beard ) was rude , he said some derogatory words about my partner wanting a small dash of Blackcurrant, his attitude and tone was very disrespectful to a visitor visiting Belfast . It’s not for him to to decide what drink a customer wants , nor is it his business to pass rude comments and to make my partner feel very comfortable. We drank up and left swiftly , and we will never return . £6.00 for a pint of Guinness , so definitely not good value either .

Used to live fairly nearby and would've visited more regularly than I do now, but I always pop in when I'm in Belfast for appointments at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald. Food is excellent, coffee is superb and the traybakes (particularly the caramelitas!) are unreal!! Luís (hopefully I have spelt his name correctly!) makes some of the best coffees in Belfast, and he is such a friendly and welcoming guy - G.M. ought to be very proud to have him!! Very easy to get to - country bound Glider stop across the road & just outside for city bound. Photo is of a pancake stack for Pancake Tuesday and it was top notch!! 🤠

I visited Neill's Hill Brasserie, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience. We ordered the Neill's Hill Kitchen Carvery, and it was immediately apparent that the portion sizes were inconsistent. The table next to us, who also ordered the carvery, received significantly larger servings of everything. They were served so much that it required two separate trays, despite only having one extra person in their party compared to ours. It made us feel second class. It was glaringly obvious that they were receiving preferential treatment, likely due to being regular customers. The staff were incredibly attentive to them. This level of disparity in service and portion sizes is unacceptable, especially given the price point. I cannot recommend Neil's Hill Brasserie. Ballyhackamore has numerous other excellent dining options where your custom will be valued and treated fairly. Save your money and go elsewhere.
