Great traditional bar, couple of craft beers and all the classics. They sometimes have live music on and atmosphere is excellent on the weekend.

Stopped in for a bite to eat and a beer and we weren’t disappointed. There’s a decent amount of seating in the bar area and the service was great. Can’t go wrong with the Korean chicken, which I was iffy about getting, but it was great!

One of the best pubs and restaurants in the city of Belfast. When someone told me about how delicious The Garrick’s food is, I doubted. Because, as a Nigerian, I’m used to our delicious African meals. You know, the pepper, fresh vegetables, etc. Well, as someone who loves to try new things, I decided to buy one of their food and man, it was deliciously delicious 😋. And the pub? Well, I don’t drink but I love way the customer service is top notch — they’re friendly and knowledgeable. One thing I observed as well is that people, the customers, who visit the pub or bar are well mannered and nice people. Anyways, is this a restaurant I recommend? Yes! I’ll be buying again from them. The Garrick in Belfast offers an old world pub atmosphere with a good selection of drinks, including local craft beers. The service is pleasingly brisk, and the food menu, featuring classic pub fare, is hearty and satisfying. A solid choice for a relaxed night out.

Obviously a very popular place. Our table was limited to two hours. Food and service was good Felt rushed when advised to vacate table That's the process I suppose

Attended for a staff Christmas dinner recently. Food was absolutely brilliant and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating of dietary requirements. The one downside was that it was a bit chilly upstairs. However we look forward to booking again next year!

I have eaten at the Garrick many times and returned on Saturday, the first day of the Christmas season, for a late lunch with a group of 8. The place was crazy busy as ever, but service was excellent from Michael, Rory and team. My pie of the day was gorgeous with delicious champ and some of our party had their first Xmas dinner of the year! As for the pints of Guinness and wee drams….equally excellent! Will be back again soon.

Great session on a Sunday night

Got a pint of guinness and a burger and chips…I know it’s only a burger ..but it was very tasty …would definitely be back

Very good value food in the 3 course Sunday meal deal here & a well kept pint of Guinness. All staff are friendly & attentive. Lovely woodwork & clever use of mirrors though I would dim the main lighting a bit. A good place to watch sport with numerous tv's. Hardest thing is negotiating the regulars sat in their stools at the bar ( a commonplace thing in Ireland).

Love this pub, if you like a huge variety of beer from across the Europe and slightly further a field this is the bar for you.

A beautiful and quiet pub (at least on Mondays around noon) with friendly waiters and good food

Great little place with a great vibe. Plenty of screens for you to watch your favourite sport on and good choice of drinks. There was a good little band on when we were there. Was very busy though and that was just during the week.

Great for a few pints late on. Getting the middle bay seats was fabulous. Spot!

Great steak sandwich and fish & chips.

At first, it looked bad, sitting upstairs alone, 1 hour wait for dinner... And then waiters and the manager showed up one after the other, apologizing kindly, and even offering us dinner without blaming us. This meal was delicious, and the decor was pleasant! Little extra: free periodic protection in the toilets, that’s great!

Stopped by for a Guinness & quick bite to eat. Ordered the Disaster Wings with Blue Cheese dip. It was amazingly HOT! But the pint was a great anecdote to the heat. Great wings and drink!

Excellent cuisine. We loved everything. A delicious risotto, an extra pie, excellent wings. Everything was exquisite! For the service, after having difficulty catching the eyes of the waiters, we had a great, very friendly waiter. Without forgetting the great atmosphere. We recommend ++++

Great food Live tradition music was good Time we went was busy and was glad we had booked our table (6pm Thursday night)

We called in here one evening this week , asked for a pint and a half of Guinness, my partner then asked for a small amount of blackcurrant in her drink , the small guy behind the bar ( with a beard ) was rude , he said some derogatory words about my partner wanting a small dash of Blackcurrant, his attitude and tone was very disrespectful to a visitor visiting Belfast . It’s not for him to to decide what drink a customer wants , nor is it his business to pass rude comments and to make my partner feel very comfortable. We drank up and left swiftly , and we will never return . £6.00 for a pint of Guinness , so definitely not good value either .

We ate here on our first night in Belfast. We'd heard good things about the pub/restaurant and wanted to check it out. The food was fresh & delicious, along with the pints! The Irish Coffee was perfect! We sat in the backroom that was full of atmosphere & energy. Definitely recommend!

The Garrick is actually a really good pub. It has a decent selection of beers, including nice IPA types, and does surprisingly good food. One of the better pubs in Belfast's city centre.

Fish n chips was perfect!!!! Beans were tasty, service was outstanding and Guinness was cold and tasty!

Dinner here was very good Great atmosphere , food and drinks good quality and a decent price Bar staff are really good and very good at their jobs The place was packed but food was served quickly and efficiently

Had the sausage and mash and it was excellent. Love pub atmosphere and this one had it. Really close to the centre of Belfast, so it's both good and convenient.

Stunning pub, which was far bigger than we thought. Two rooms downstairs, and one up (which didn't seem to be in use when we visited). Great bar staff and excellent selection of drinks. Highly recommend!

It was raining so I was looking for a nearby restaurant and went there because it had good Google ratings. I liked the atmosphere, but the prices weren't that cheap and the food came out too late. The food tasted okay.

Didn't try the food sadly but it looked good and reasonably priced. Lovely traditional pub with original interior, friendly and chilled. Nice to have musicians jamming traditional tunes in the background but not dominating proceedings.

The Garrick has been here a while and stands pretty much alone in Chichester St. The only other bar is at the bottom end of the street but doesn't hold a candle. The food is great, the selection of beers is plentiful. What's not to like ?

Excellent pub. Lovely Guinness, great selection of beers and spirits and the food is top notch. Great atmosphere and a shout out to the barman (whose name I didn’t get unfortunately - shaved head and long beard). Absolute gentleman and great craic. Will be back anytime I’m in Belfast

I only had one beer there with a friend, but the atmosphere was lovely.

Called on passing as I hadn't been in for years. Vast range of beers and spirits in fact if you couldn't find what you wanted you may give up. Welcoming staff, hopefully will be back in the near future.

We visited Garrick by calling them before we arrive there- they mentioned it will be closed at 12:30Am. We arrived on 10th April approximately at 9:30pm. They mentioned restaurant was closed and food wasn’t available. They started even closing half of bar and completely closed by 10pm. We were asked very rudely to move out from there by staff. We ordered 2 cocktails 1pornstar Martini and 1 espresso martini but doesn’t taste good. Atmosphere was so stinking… like some type of seafood market. Not a good experience
