The Gallery Restaurant in South Lanarkshire

I was at a function, and from everyone seated by 12 noon, it was 1pm before the buffet was ready, and even then the sausage rolls were tepid and the white bread sandwiches dry.

Absolutely amazing, was our first time trying this place, and it most definitely won’t be the last, lovely, warm service, very cheery and customer service orientated, the food was absolutely divine too. Can not praise it enough, can’t wait until I’m next back to try some more food and experience that amazing customer service again. A*

We went for a quick lunch today and the food was beautiful. Also the service was outstanding, very nice people. We’ll 100% be back!

Stayed here a few times now and every time the service has got better and better. Breakfast was lovely evening meals were great ,but check before you go to see if the restaurant is open on ghat night.

Really disappointed - booked afternoon tea to celebrate my mother in law's 80th birthday. Egg sandwiches only tasted of margarine. Some cakes were stale. I couldn't understand why we were given filled scones plus extra butter, cream and jam? Also, the sugar was served in sachets in a glass. And I think the waitresses' forgot to put their skirts on. My mother in law said she wished we'd gone to Gouldings. You've really ruined an opportunity here and my mother in law's special day - she doesn't go out now because of her sight and hearing and we wanted this to be special. Very upset!

Really good place to go to atmosphere very good ,staff very helpful and friendly, service and food excellent.

Nice shopping centre however the restaurant part you can definitely tell is such. The floorboards vibrate with everyone that passes your table, which is usually spaced inadequately beside the others. The food is alright, nothing to write home about, portion sizes are average, costs are a bit stingy for what you get.

Food was fine. No mint sauce for lamb course. Ordered crumble, later told there was none. Staff do the rounds with table checks but I find these interruptive. My preference is to be left alone during the meal.
