Cracking wee Pub with genuine nice staff and real.people ..Wee game of pool football and a wee sandwich when there are functions on ..will definitely be back ..

Great friendly local pub. Was in to look at the Lounge for a function and stayed for a couple. Plenty of choice of lagers but only Guinness and John Smiths as draught ales and Newcastle in bottles. Racing TV on plus a pool table at the rear. Well kept pint of Guinness and reasonable prices.

Covid hotspot , maybye 60 customers xmas eve , lucky if 4 wore a mask while going to the bar , toilet or walking out for a cigarette

Fantastic local community pub, really cheap drinks during the day. I'm so lucky that I stumbled upon this little gem of a place! And OMG Lewis Capaldis brother is preforming here next week. While Inside I was looking at the posters advertising the bands that play here and I was impressed.

Vastly overpriced drinks. Only went to see a band, who played to an empty pub. No posters advertising entertainment so how do the (few) regulars know? Manager started cleaning up during the bands first set. The smell of bleach was the last straw. Aye clean up spills but there were no customers. Was the manager intimidated by strangers in his pub? Well we left and went to see a band in the Village Inn. Now THERE'S a four ir five star pub.

A local pub... If you are not a local..... Don't go!

Great wee local pub. Recently refurbished, good decor and friendly atmosphere. Sadly doesn't do real ale, but otherwise very good.

Lovely function room well decorated and thought out however didnt like the entrance to function room as i had to run the gauntlet past punters smoking and targeting guests with rude and aggressive comments

£2 for a can a irn bru £2.40 for a can a coke Guinness is rank and a bar maid with her arse in an open fridge, don't know where you get the 4 stars.

Party in the lounge. Great community pub. But the lounge needs to be done up. It's behind the times. Bar staff and everything else is great.

Used to be a lively pub no matter what day you visited. But nowadays it's very quiet & no wonder at those prices. Far too expensive I'm afraid

The function room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly & professional.

Nice wee pub. Reasonable prices . Fair size function room . DJ was terrible not a single original artist on the music front killed the party as most guests agreed quite a few left Because of her choices despite being told to up the anti as party was dying a slow death. . Not sure who hired her though but would be well down the option choices for me . But liked the overall venue

It's OK here but I don't frequent to drink. A local pub I visit weekly for a slimming class. Not sure if they pay the heating bill in the summer so maybe bring a cardi? An older fashioned side room is fit for purpose and would be a good venue for similar groups or a cheaper bash. Mainly stairs access although easier to access via a couple of stairs if accessing from the Murray square. Have enjoyed drinks here in the past and it's much more value for money than pubs in the town centre.

Excellent local. Has a bar and lounge and excellent atmosphere for the football. The pink and brown decor in the lounge could do with an update.

We want to the Murray bar/lounge..for my brothers funeral purvey and the staff were very nice with us..we were treated very well and everything went well...thanks to all w1hi took part in making it a memorable day..!!!

Spit and sawdust have nothing on this bar. Typical man's pub with variety of Scottish beer and whisky so great atmosphere. Good for lads Friday night out.

It's a basic pub even after it's had some up grade work done bar and lounge area with new tv's for football etc I would never go near this place when big matches are on due to amount of fighting that takes place outside police are prity regular in the area.

Nice pub with reasonable prices and good atmosphere when bands play. Not enough bar staff when busy though.

It's friendly, reasonably priced and handy.

Very dissapointing, my second visit here, male staff member extremely rude and arrogant, I left before ordering my drink. Combined with dated decor and no food menu I'm surprised this place still exists
