The Furamar in Wyre

1st time trying furamars food due to the low review rating... Just ordered chips to see if they could impress me and... They did... They were excellent.... Crispy, tasted of potato, underpriced at £1.50!...portion size was outrageous.... served in a good time and by pleasant staff... Just how it should be... So... Next time we go for their Chinese cuisine and see if they can represent...just one thing to say... Chef... Get a blinking haircut and shave... Hygiene and looking the part is paramount... Overall well done

The Furamer is only take away food but the food they delivered to our house (free delivery) was very good and the best we have had in the area (Tel 01253 391353) for a long time. We started salt & spicy spare ribs, really tasty and lots of meat on them, we also had 1/4 Crispy Aromatic Duck and Sesame prawn toast. For main we shared a checking Corry with chips, the wholee meal was only £21.90p we could not believe the value and quality for that money

This is a hidden charm takeaway, utterly brilliant food, taste, cooked so authentically and takes a while (around an hour) but it’s worth the wait. Cooked from scratch, you get what you wait for! Had several dishes now so won’t list but every one superb and generous. Forget the big restaurants churning out dishes double the price, this is class dishes time after time… can’t praise high enough, honest, and I’m a foodie. I defy you to disagree if you appreciate food 😊

Waited 45 minutes in the shop for a take away food was horrible and was told that it would only be 10 mins sat and waited and asked twice to be told it would be another 10 mins then another 10 mins

The chips, salt and pepper chicken was nice and crispy! They give bigger more generous portions compared to other takeaways. The only problem i have is the wait. My advise is to go phone them and collect the order yourself.

Used loads of Chinese over the years but this must be the worst.at least half hour wait and food was terrible.curry completey tasteless waste of money

Lived in the area for 2 years and always drove back to our old Chinese. Summers night so thought I’d walk here and give it a try. 35 minute wait (cope with this on a Friday night). Got home, one soup missing... ...chicken & sweetcorn more like jelly! ...spring rolls - quite nice (but how can you go wrong) ....chicken fried rice - bland ...king prawn Satay - VILE - basically five prawns and onions in a sweet ish sauce - almost chicken korma like...really finding it difficult to describe. Honestly I have never had a satay like it. The bin loved it!!

Waited 30 minutes for a portion of chips and a curry sauce. Tiny chips undercooked, couldnt find the salt and pepper style which was 70p extra, and a huge inedible layer of grease on curry sauce. The picture is after i spent ages stirring the sauce and it still had the grease !!If id of had the energy i would of taken it back. Unfortunately cant seem to upload the pictures to show how awful. Never again back to staining. Oh and we were the only ones there.

Right. First things first: the food is very good here, BUT expect a long wait especially at weekends. For all the people that do moan, please be tried patient: it will be worth it (plus you CAN phone ahead and they DO deliver).We are local to the Furamar and eat here quite regularly. The Mixed Hors D'Oeuvres are excellent, consisting of crispy chicken, ribs, sping rolls, sea weed etc. Also try the Furamar Mixed Special Fried Rice and Cantonese Sweet and Sour Chicken. We always get very good service from them so give the Furamar a try!

This was my first visit (and probably my last)...I ordered ribs and chicken fried rice. There was one other person waiting - After 30 minutes the other person was served and I questioned how long my order would be. I was told they cook everything fresh so aren't the quickest but are the tastiest! I've no idea how they accounted for the 15 minute wait a lady had simply to order! Once I'd ordered I started to regret it - I looked round .. there were 3 chips on the table in the waiting area, the floor was sticky, the tv on show and the entrance hatch blackened by touch. A 'lick of paint' to make the place look clean a fresh is all it would take. The fact they can't do that so 1st impressions are good made me concerned about their kitchen standards! Anyway as for the meal - the chicken fried rice was a huge portion (but very salty) and the ribs had a huge amount of meat on them but the bbq sauce was basically a red syrup and sooo sweet. 90% of our order went in the bin. Maybe it was a bad day for them but all in all it was sadly one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had!

The Furamar is the default chinese take away for our family. The range of the food is great and the quality of the food is great. It isnt the fastest but that is exactly what I want as too quick means already pre-prepared....

I had cause to visit and order two lots of takeaway from this restaurant on the same evening. The first order was a simple telephone takeaway order with a promised delivery time of 40 minutes, the second was to go to the takeaway and place an order as extra friends arrived after the initial order. Having place the order at the counter and then being overcharged £6.00 (resolved when we did the sums for them) we then sat for 50 minutes while our "ready in 30 minute" order was cooked. Three minute drive home to find the food just about warm. As for the phone order, two follow up calls later it finally arrived after 2 hours. AVOID this restaurant if you want timely service and hot food

Live round the corner from Furamar and use it regularly. I think the food is great from here and the delivery guy is always very cheery if we get a delivery. The chicken balls are amazing!

Having had several meals from Furamar, most ok, it can be hit and miss, tonight the chicken wings were crunchy and nice. The rest of the meal was ok but as the picture of the fries show, they were awful
