If you like chips with style then this is the place. We ordered a kid's meal what was great quality. Vegan burger 🍔 what was small but quality was out of this world and this is from someone who is a meat eater. Reg beef mess and lrg 2 meat mess . The best thing I like about it to style the meal to how you like it the staff are so friendly . This place is in the middle of nowhere. So make your way there and you will be surprised 😋

Our dinner plans changed and we chose the Fryer Engine based on the convenient location. The menu is fairly basic, chips, chips with cheese, chips with meat, chips with meat & cheese, and a few burgers. We opted for the chips with 3 meats (chicken, pork & beef) & cheese. You then choose if you want pickles or jalapeños and there’s a choice of sauce. The chips were ok, not too soggy & there was a decent amount of meat which was nice and tender. The gherkins were a bit sparse! It tasted ok, but it’s not something I’d choose to eat on a regular basis. The 20% discount on your first order was a nice little bonus!

Honestly, the battered chips are absolutely UNREAL! Cannot wait to try the other items on the menu! Really quirky set up and ran by the nicest people! Will 100% be visiting again and would highly recommend people to visit!

I just had a great experience with this place, that began badly. I've come here to praise the customer service. I made an order which arrived in 30m, but there was a mistake and something large had been left out. I called the branch and spoke to a gentleman who was very supportive and drove out to deliver the missing part himself. I think it was the owner. What a lovely bloke and friendly. Thank you for such great customer service, very rare these days!

378 High Street, Rochester ME1 1DJ EnglandBeen wanting to come for a while now and was a bit disappointed. The bar itself is quite cold and everyone is sat in their coats. Food came and the beef burger was great but the chicken was far from it. It tasted cheap, very stringy, chewy and lots of gross purple vein looking bits in it. The smell of the chicken smelt like that of Aldi frozen burgers and it wasn’t nice. I could only eat two mouthfuls before having to stop. Disappointing as I’d heard such good things.

110 Frindsbury RoadFirst visit... A lovely piece of cod, friendly staff, a smile. I have a new favourite F&C shop. You can get cash from the Tesco station over the road and there is parking down the side of the building.
