Nice pub with great friendly service. Disappointing comedy show from an 'A' List comedian!

Great place for drinks and games. A bit pricey for the games but it's London.

We recently visited as a group of 22 for a company Social on a Thursday night - Dee was so great in handling our booking and the staff on the night were fantastic! We had a great time! We played the games and also did Karaoke, food was great and drink selection was great! Will defiantly consider them for future events!

If you’ve had a few drinks and want to have some fun it’s ok. Don’t expect a nice arcade venue. Looking at the quality and condition of the games I think it’s a bit overpriced. I would advise the owner to make a bit more effort, because the location and idea is great.

I hate this place with a passion, and yet I find myself here with annoying regularity! Avoid unless you're on a work do, on the tail end of a night out, full of drugs, or desperately trying to pull (or all of the above!) 1 star is generous!

We visited as a group of 46 as local parents with children on a Sunday as a class social event. Our host Dee was exceptional from managing our booking from the karaoke to ordering drinks/lunch. She ensured everything was in place so it all went smoothy. We will definitely be back again. Only change would be to bring back Sunday roast and the Jazz band. More options on the children's menu be great.

We booked a table / area for 20ish people to celebrate my birthday yesterday. Since we wanted to align our booking with a karaoke slot, we had to shift our booking from 1700 to 1915, we emailed the team at Four Thieves and they confirmed the changes were made - good. We get there at 1900 and they claimed that our reservation was at 1700, so we didn't have a table. After showing receipts of what was agreed with whoever was emailing us from the bar at the time, they designate a table in a dark and almost creepy room instead of the private room they have by the entrance. Needless to say that I was very angry and the 'free prosecco' that's promised for birthdays is a lie - don't be fooled. Also, they used to have pizzas on the menu but these have disappeared, so it's very hard to share food with others unless you order nibbles - disappointing. If you want to celebrate your birthday there, AVOID AT ALL COST.

Massive pub with a good vibe. Great karaoke room with a large selection of songs.

Pub is great for friends and family to enjoy some games. It has a good selection of carnival and arcade games as well as a big RC racing game. It's made less convenient since you have to load your money onto a swipe card which can add up (~£16-£33) as the games aren't as cheap as you'd think. Service was good but I went on a quiet day.

Had a work Xmas lunch here, venue is chilled, good space and layout and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Food portions were large and quality was good too and for the price you could not complain at all. Lots of activities to do upstairs unfortunately I had to leave but good overall feedback from my colleagues so would recommend this place for large groups or couples/smaller groups as plenty of suitable tables/spaces for all.

Ya sure this place is fun and brings the nostalgia, but the price of games and the cost of drinks are tough to swallow.

I used to love the four thieves, would always try and visit when I could, however they’ve changed their arcade game payments from contactless pay as you go to a card you can top up. More expensive than I remember, and you don’t get the flexibility like you used to. They got rid of time crisis and also rebranded which feels more tacky than when it was more understated. A real shame :(

Popped in while just out for a wander, what a place. Never knew it had an arcade! Haven’t played time crisis in years, what a throwback. Few beers, couple of games and some nibbles from the bar, what’s not to like. Managers really nice too, chatted with us for a bit, I think her name was Freya

I don't mind eating in a student union vibes place - occasionally - but to charge premium London prices for such poor service and food is unacceptable. .) We booked for Sunday Roast and when we arrived we were told that they weren't doing them. Great start. .) We wanted to open a tab and we were told that for some obscure bureaucratic reason this would also not be possible. .) The beer was flat and cost £7.20 a pint!!! .) The food took an age to arrived - so long i nearly had to shave twice. .) When the food arrived it was dry and bang average - like my last trip to Zakynthos. .) The staff were wandering around with headphones on (no joke) and empty plates and glasses were mounting at such a rate we had to stack them on the empty table next to us. Shambles. All in all a completely forgettable experience - for what we got I wouldn't even pay a third of what they charged us. Considering this is supposably peak time for these sorts of places I am shocked at how ill prepared they were for almost any sort of service. My mood was only slightly lifted by a wander around Whole Foods after.

We had our staff Christmas party here. It's a very animated place, good for groups, but it was extremely busy. Lots of activities, definitely you will have fun for a few hours if you decide to go.

A lot of options on the food menu aren't available. No steak, no burrata, ordered steak, and ale pie for £18pp for it to come out per person and it's one pie cut in 2. Rip off, and how do you do you not have menu items available on a Saturday lunch? 10% service charge added to bill when ordering food at the bar. After a lot of complaining, we were refunded for one of the meals.

Reserved a large area for our work Christmas party, Frida and the team couldn't have been any more accommodating right from the point of enquiry to when we left 10/10 recommend!

We booked to go to the Four Thieves 12-2pm around one month in advance. We turned up on the day at 12 and the doors were locked. We waited for five minutes and then started to knock on the doors and windows. No answer. My sister around 12.10/15 found a side door and asked a female member of staff inside to please let us in. She apologised for opening up late (although I’m doubtful if we didn’t find our way in, we would have been in). We then asked to go up to the arcade but the male worker who ran the arcade only just arrived around 12.15. When I said that we had booked for 12, he replied saying “I’ve only just got to work and I don’t know when bookings are” and walked off. This made us feel incredibly awkward about being there. Very unhelpful staff - what’s the point of booking if they don’t even open the pub?!

Booked back in October for a Christmas party for 25 people, with detailed email correspondence with their bookings manager. She was helpful at the time, sending me the food menu and discussing the arcade options. Fast forward to yesterday when we arrived, and the manager abruptly informed us that the kitchen wasn't serving food to anyone who hadn’t pre-ordered the three-course Christmas lunch. This was completely their mistake. They incorrectly logged us as a 'normal' booking, despite all other groups being Christmas bookings. They failed to send us a pre-order menu, leaving 25 of my colleagues hungry and disappointed. To make matters worse, the manager was unapologetic. All they offered as compensation was one single bottle of prosecco—for a group of 25! Bar snacks were suggested as the only alternative. This level of service is unacceptable. Avoid this place for group bookings. It’s not worth the hassle or the poor treatment.

I used to love this place, but was disappointed when we visited last night. They’ve changed how you pay for the games, it’s more expensive and overly complicated—we had to ask staff for help just to figure it out. You used to pay around £5 for a single car race and even got a fun driver’s license with a photo, which was the best part! Now the minimum spend is £16 for credit to use across all the games, which feels like an awkward and unnecessary increase. There used to be a queue for the car racing but now on a Saturday night there was hardly any full races. The garden area is still nice, but beers are expensive.

I came here for a friend's birthday on a Saturday night. We had food and drinks first downstairs which was fine although expensive. The chicken I had was dry. Also, they encourage you to order by QR code on the table, but there is a booking fee for doing so. You are a couple of quid better off just going to the bar and ordering in person. The upstairs gaming area is a great idea, but was simply too busy, with too few members of staff working. It took a while to get served at the bar and alcohol was expensive. Many of the games were not working properly, mainly the golf game which was not dispensing golf balls correctly. One of the games advertises a prize for winning, which other machines were doing, but failed to give the prize. I asked the staff whether they could get us a prize, who stated they didn't know how to do so and that they would try to find somebody to sort it. They quickly went back to what they were doing and forgot about it. Whilst not really about the prize, we had spent quite a few quid in there and felt that we should chase it up out of principal. It was so busy upstairs that we now couldn't even see any staff, who don't wear a uniform or have any way of identifying them. Eventually, we went downstairs to the bar and a bar lady then came up with me to re-approach a staff member. This was a different staff member, who again tried to fob us off, but I stood firm and they magically found two prizes right underneath their desk. I would not return. I've been to the same place in Brighton which was much better run.

The Four Thieves Pub in Clapham is a chaotic, booze-fueled playground of retro arcade games and remote-controlled car races with a quirky, vintage vibe. The old VR setup? It was trash. The mini-golf? Good riddance—it played like a bad carnival game. But here’s the kicker: the drinks are still criminally priced at nearly £8 a pint. That’s less a pint and more a financial gut punch. Sure, it’s fun, loud, and full of character, but those prices make it feel like the true challenge isn’t the car race—it’s surviving the bar tab.

Overpriced and none of the games work. We came in for my sisters 30th birthday and were thoroughly disappointed. Go to NQ64 instead if you want to play arcade games!

Had a fun atmosphere but the place was grimey. All the light gun games had a sticky feel to them which made me feel disgusting. Can tell they almost never clean them, despite the amount of hands they pass through. Didn't try the food on accout of how gross everything felt to touch

Charged a random fee for unspecified reasons when ordering dinner, otherwise very good food and service. Great games upstairs. Update: it's not clear how to remove the charge and it's not clear what it is for, as tip was an optional extra. I suggest you make it clearer in both regards to improve the experience.

A group of us came in for a Sunday roast and were so pleasantly surprised as we usually come here in the evening. The food was perfect and the service from Bleeran was exceptional. Will definitely be coming back.

This pub is a total gem! Let’s start with the roast dinner—an easy 10/10. I brought a couple of friends who are veggie and vegan, and they were genuinely thrilled with their meals. (Yes, you read that right—actual happy vegans at a pub!). The meat options? Next-level good. None of that “grandma’s been slow-cooking this beef since the ‘70s” dryness here! But it’s not just the food. This place has everything you’d want for a good time with your friends: great drinks, fantastic music, and a vibe that makes you feel like you’re right at home. Oh, and there’s a games room upstairs that’s packed with fun things to do, so you’re never stuck staring at your empty pint wondering what’s next. This pub is truly for everyone. As a queer woman, I feel safe and welcomed here, which isn’t something I take for granted. Honestly, I feel lucky to have this place as my local, and I’m excited for all the good times yet to come.

Been a regular here for years. Used to be a lovely venue with dedicated staff, but there's been a massive turn over recently, including the manager. Thing are just getting more expensive, the service is getting worse and worse. I put in a complaint a couple weeks ago after receiving a homophobic comment from the security on site (contract) and the staff on shift were unable to deal with the situation. Laines has still not responded to my concern. The pub is often really quiet but they still treat their customers poorly and do not create an inclusive community. I would never bring a date here or organise a community event here. They have a lovely beer garden (with heaters) and the food menu used to be good (changed a couple weeks ago and haven't tried it since) even though it's pricey. The toilets are regularly broken/not stocked so do check before you use!

Busy on a Saturday night and most of the games are shooter games but do have guitar hero and DDR

Amazing venue. We went on a Sunday afternoon. Place was dead, so we got a blues concert to ourselves. We also discovered the arcade upstairs afterwards! Great music and great fun!

Oct 24: Sunday roasts are back on the menu and they great and filing When there’s pinballs, I could be there for hours! Great arcade upstairs. Worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood. There is however a general feeling that service is not up to where it should be and lacks of encouragement with staff! Hence the 3stars! Just a thought

Great hidden gems, with plenty of choice on alcohol and a beer garden and gaming area upstairs, as well as dancing machine and karaoke on offer...food is great and has a pizzeria in house open till 2am on weekends and has a DJ

Really fun arcade bar near Clapham Junction. There is a good variety of games upstairs and they have a beer garden and karaoke room as well. The most innovative game is the remote control car racing but there are many FPS and other games as well. Only complaint would be the cost of each game, which is a little excessive in some cases.

Pizza was delicious, staff were friendly. Quiet atmosphere in the afternoon, I imagine it picks up later in the day.

Pretty fun and eclectic pub with a massive upstairs gaming area with old arcade games, a remote control car racing track and other things like air hockey. The downstairs part is generally quite busy and not really somewhere to come and just chill, but it's really fun for a night out with some friends.

Security unnecessarily over-zealous, drinks unnecessarily overpriced, arcade games were crowded and limited. The pub sells itself as an arcade bar and if you are looking for that you’ll be disappointed. Beer garden closes at 1030, can’t have drinks out the front. Overall disappointing.

Deceptively huge! Literally everything you could want for a night out. In a multitude of different rooms on an array of different floors. Oh...and a garden! This isn't a pub. It's a small village.

Went there for thesuper charged Saturdays. The staff were super friendly and helped us figure out how to use the apps for discounted drinks. We ended up in the arcade which was really fun. Would reccomemd the racing if you are in a large group as the controllers made it great fun for us.

First time visiting Four Thieves, I had a great time with family celebrating my little cousins birthday. With a combination of adult and kids time perfect place to enjoy family time. Staff were excellent and accommodating for the bryhday celebration. I will definitely return for a family Sunday dinner. Really enjoyed myself here we all did 😊

FAKE PROMISES . Websites leads you to believe that it has multiple machines . Vr and other games . A large majority are either not calibrated properly and or broken . Very disappointing. Vr was not working . No mention on website or social media's. Stayed for half an hour and left disappointed. Definitely worth swerving this place . It's hay day has gone , it's my second visit and the place has fallen into disrepair . Staff don't care , games that do work are overpriced .

We made a reservation on Sunday at 16:00 for three adulte and 1 toddler for the Sunday roast. We chose to went there because on the web site they say they have a room for young children with a supervisor adult. We arrive at the pub, our table wasn’t ready because they still have people who play at a game on. They can’t suggest us another table. They tell us they close the room for child earlier for no reason. The waitress don’t really want to accommode us more than that. We just told them we will leave and go to other the place and the only thing the waitress told us it’s “Ok, bye”, turn and leave. We were really disappointed and don’t give a good review about this place to our friends.

Great vibe and not crazily expensive in the arcade upstairs. Wasn't impressed with the DJ :/ Some good songs but on a completely empty dancefloor (except for our group) 30 min before closing our request for abba was denied. Don't hold it against him but also like, cmon, there's no one else here.

Fun pub for a night out. Beer garden has heaters. Both times I’ve been there music has come on around 10:30 - no live just a dj. Games room upstairs as well as a second bar.

Really good but small retro gaming pub. Drink prices were average and wasn't too busy.

Hate this place. The staff are rude AF from the bouncers to the bartenders. The music was bad and loud so we had to scream at each other the whole evening. For some reason the staff were obsessed with taking our glasses even when they were half full. I told a bartender someone took my 7up so she gave me a glass of sugary pool water to make up for it. The food is OK and expensive for no reason. When I asked for a pizza box for my pizza leftovers I was told that they couldn't access the kitchen and was offered FOIL, but they could get into the kitchen for that I suppose.

We popped in for a very quick drink and bite to eat. The young lady behind the bar was really lovely and helpful. I had fish goujons and chips, really tasty and nice tartare sauce, the fish was served in a wee crusty roll. Hubby had a sausge bap and chips. Again tasty and and good price.

The upstairs arcade is a fantastic experience. Loads of arcade machines include older games like a dance mat, guitar hero arcade, and time crisis- as well as newer games like a VR headset experience. Massively recommend this for group of any size. We came with a group of 16 and it was brilliant.

It was our first time at Four Thieves Clapham Junction. We heard about "kids table" so we came here with our daughter and some friends. Lyn was looking after the children at the kids table and made our daughter super happy. She is usually quite shy but made our daughter very comfortable and they did some Easter craft together. Our daughter said now its her favourite restaurant and wants to come back tomorrow to play with Lyn!

Second time here. Easy to book, very efficient. The place is busy, but not crowded. The staff was helpful and always nice. 80/90s music, good price and unexpected activities besides of Karaoke. If you want easy but great fun this is the place.

The Four Thieves is a large pub with one main bar split on 2 levels and a second smaller bar.  It also has a games room. The decor is dark with a complete mish-mash of chairs and tables which is a refreshing change from uniform bar furniture.  It also has some odd objects with what looks like a computer from the 60's, a petrol pump and a large wooden bird carving! It has a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails plus a small menu of smalls, a few main meals and burgers. It often has various deals on including a “Clappy Hour” - to do with Clapham no doubt! 😅 Service is fine and friendly.

Great pub for a fun evening with friends. Good selection of drinks but the key highlight is the arcade room upstairs. Still yet to try the karaoke but overall a great pub. The downstairs music is sometimes a but too loud though.
