A really lovely place in a beautiful location in the clent hills. The food is really delicious. Unfortunately, they had a power cut while I was there and we were only able to have mains, no dessert, but we really enjoyed what we had.

Only found this cafe a couple of months ago and have now been a few times. My go to for a brunch with the girls and with my hubby. Every visit has been fab, including today. Wonderful food, lovely friendly staff and in a beautiful location. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they really look after you. Had such a laugh with Jacob today, who said that we’re being looked after by himself (Alan Carr) and his colleague (Kim Kardashian). It’s nice to feel so welcome by the whole team. We were given a table as we arrived and then they forgot to take our order. So we went up to them and placed the order. Then about 25-30 mins later, my friend went upto them to ask how long was it going to take and they said "Not too long now". So we waited another 15-20 mins and went to ask about the food again. This time they said, "oh sorry we lost your order and we haven't started preparing your order yet". We had come here for a brunch after a long hike and we were extremely hungry. We cancelled our order and took a refund. It was surprising how the manager was so unapologetic about the situation. We waited over 45 minutes for food patiently while we were hungry. The manager kept saying, "this has never happened before"; well it happened now, take responsibility for it. I'm sure they might be good overall but atleast be apologetic to your customers when you are running a business.

We did not feel welcome at all and do not go there if you're new to the area and not a regular you won't get served

Upon arriving at Four Stones Coffee and Brunch, one is immediately struck by the vibrant atmosphere of the area. It’s a popular spot for a morning stroll, which explains the challenging parking situation. However, this minor inconvenience is hardly the fault of the establishment. The service at Four Stones, while not exceptional, is understandable given the bustling nature of the place. On our visit, the wait for our breakfast—a total of three menu items plus a brunch special of honey mustard chicken thighs with potatoes and peas with spinach—exceeded an hour. The dish was satisfactory, though perhaps not quite worth the lengthy wait. A pleasant surprise was my wife’s enjoyment of her meal, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food when the kitchen hits its stride. We did experience a small mix-up with an unordered item appearing at our table, but it was quickly resolved without any fuss or additional charge. Despite these hiccups, Four Stones has a certain charm that cannot be overlooked. It’s a nice place with potential for a truly delightful dining experience. We’re willing to chalk up the issues to an off day and will return, hoping for a smoother visit next time.

They were apologetic and didn't charge us for the additional drinks. We ordered two breakfast omelettes one without mushrooms and a sandwich. They came out both with mushrooms, one was really nice while the other one was slightly under cooked so uncooked egg white in middle. As we had been there for some time we just ate what we could of the undercooked one. Not a great experience but hopefully just a one off.

What a gem! We found this place by accident whilst on a wet walk around Clent Hills and fell inside to get out of the rain. It looks appealing from the outside and I imagine on a sunny day the front terrace is a lovely place to sit! Genuinely friendly welcome despite our bedraggled appearance and wet coats and boots. We both had an excellent cappuccino beside the log burner whilst we warmed up before tucking into the fish cakes which were quite delicious. In fact, I’d go as far as to say some of the best I’ve eaten at a pub. Excellent flavours, served piping hot with a soft centre and perfectly crisped outer crumb served on a bed of creamy leeks and a fresh crisp salad with a pot of delicious mustard vinaigrette on the side. They tasted homemade (in a good way!) and very fresh. Generous portion size and good value for money. In addition the service was perfect; friendly, attentive, genuine and efficient. The loos were clean and pleasantly decorated with nice hand cream and soaps. I would go out of my way to eat here and look forward to visiting again.

Came here for lunch, food was good but maybe not quite as I expected, for instance the avocado toast, expecting avocado to be the main feature, however this was a thin spread of avocado on the small pieces of toast that seemed to be the ends the of loaf. the scrambled eggs and vine tomatoes were good. The menu item all in all was good, but more avocado as described on the menu would make this excellent. Staff were attentive, but lacked warmth. When paying the nail glue and lipstick left on the counter let's the side down. A great café in an amazing spot, has good potential, nothing that a bit more attention to detail wouldn't cure.

I visited for brunch on Sunday 3rd September with a couple of friends. Their previous experience was good. This was quite the opposite! The attitude of the server was poor but she could have had a bad morning. We sat in the conservatory section and were handed the menus and a drinks order was taken. A few minutes later the server came back to take our food order. I asked for Eggs Benedict and requested that I swap the ham for streaky bacon. The server said she would ask the chef but it would cost more. One of my friends ordered the Salmon Stack and the other Poached Eggs on Sourdough Toast. When the food arrived the problems arose. My friends poached eggs had yolks that were over cooked and the whites looked as though they had been whisked and as a result held a lot of water. She sent that back. A second attempt by your chef ( I use that term loosely ) didn’t fare any better. The yolks may not have been over cooked but you could wring the water out of the toast. It was a soggy mess and inedible. This was subsequently returned. My other friends Salmon Stack seemed to be devoid of the key item Salmon! It was literally a potato cake. My eggs Benedict were terrible. Again the eggs were over cooked and had been placed on lettuce on top of the muffin. As a result of having hot eggs placed on the lettuce it became limp and slimy. Around the dish the Chef had added a balsamic reduction swirl which did nothing to enhance the food, or the presentation. Again the eggs hadn’t been drained properly and this destroyed the muffin which was, like my friends toast , a soggy mess. The streaky bacon that I paid an additional £2 for was undercooked and inedible. The member of staff who cleared the table never checked back to see if everything was okay or asked about the food I left. This was probably the worst brunch I have ever had. Your Chef (?) needs some serious training in cookery basics.

Went for a spontaneous weekend breakfast; we had visited this restaurant several times when it served Sunday lunch and were disappointed when it changed into a coffee house as the food used to be really delicious. Our order was taken quickly but the food did take a fair while to arrive. When it came, the ‘American pancakes’ were lacklustre with slightly raw insides, ‘house syrup’ which tasted more like golden syrup and two limp rashers of streaky bacon. To charge £9 for 3 thin, borderline raw pancakes is outrageous. The full English wasn’t much better. The sausages were cooked but only barely, so much so that every slice was examined before being eaten, just in case. The homemade hash brown looked very tasty but was also slightly raw on the inside, the overpowering raw onion and egg mixture wasn’t edible. Again, to charge £12 for this is a scandal. Tea was served in a cheap metal teapot, and again I have to say some of the prices of the hot drinks were ridiculous - £5 for a hot chocolate is London territory. All in all, I’m glad we went as we know not to bother again when there are much nicer places within 10 minutes drive.

This restaurant is a bloody disgrace. First we’d booked and then the staff said to us when we got there ‘oh we are quiet so we haven’t reserved any tables’ first red flag. Then we ordered coffees that took 20 minutes to come. Next they had forgotten to take out food order so we had to ask staff. When we had eventually ordered the food it took 40 minutes to come. It was taking so long I had to ask the staff where our food was. The food we had ordered was simple food which wouldn’t take this long. When it eventually came the food was lacklustre and disappointing. And also my cake did not come so I had to ask for this. We were not the only people complaining as 2 other groups complained about their orders. The staff were very rude and unprofessional and were completely incompetent at doing their jobs. The final straw was when I was paying at the till as no one had come over, a customer was complaining and when they walked off the staff proceeded to talk about the customer in a derogatory manner. I will never go here again and I do not recommend anyone else does.

Great potential and location, but so disappointed with the brunch. Staff helpful and friendly (provided our toddler with colouring book and crayons) but seemed inexperienced and overstretched although not very busy at 12.00pm. Coffee great, pancakes OK, but egg Benedict a disaster I'm afraid. Tough muffin, hard boiled poached egg, ham chewy as a piece of raw bacon and no hollandaise sauce but a very strange overall taste almost sweet like cinnamon instead of cayenne pepper. I left most of it, should have sent it back. Some helpful feedback would be change the lighting as the old orangey restaurant bulbs are too dim at the back and increase the font size on the menu sheets as very hard to read in dim lighting. Sorry to be so critical but it could be such a great place.

One tablespoon of custard sunk into the bun because obviously heated up in the microwave which made bun hard so put icecream on the top which wasn't on the menu and I don't like icecream. Menu sounded delicious but didn't deliver on taste and service poor.

I hired the upstairs space for my 32nd birthday and was so pleased that I did. Having the whole upstairs with our own bar, terrace and toilets was fab. I was able to decorate the space but even as it is, the room looks lovely. Katie and the team were fab from start to finish. They happily accommodated a couple of menu tweaks - and even added two dishes which was an amazing touch! The food was served in good time, hot and delicious. Everything from hiring the space to organising the evening was made super easy. I had loads of compliments from my family and friends and had the best time celebrating. Would definitely recommend to anyone after a private function with yummy food and fab service. Five plus stars all round x

First time we've been there for years but will definitely be back soon. Fabulous service from the lovely Bethany who was very pleasant and a credit to the restaurant. Food was excellent. Only downside was the lack of other customers. You should give it a try as it definitely deserves more support.

Family lunch at Four Stones was a delight. Food and service were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I guess these things are taken for granted in a good restaurant What really made it stand out however was the menu for young children....

The Four Stones Restaurant hosted our wedding reception on 20th August 2022, we cannot express how happy we are with the service we received. From start to finish we have had excellent communication with Katie and the team, every single person has been so welcoming and attentive. The food was amazing and our whole party commented on how well presented it was and how great it tasted. We had a fantastic evening and would recommend to anyone looking to book a beautiful function room. Can’t wait to visit again and create more memories. Thank you so much , Molly & Matt

Booked at the last minute on a Friday night to celebrate our daughters degree result. The 3 course Prefix Menu was very reasonably priced and the food was absolutely delicious! Top quality dining in a quiet, ambient restaurant near the client hills. Will definitely return!!

Nice lunch in the sunshine. Pub classics prepared to a high standard, fish goujons ciabatta was just what I wanted and great chips too. Judging by the main menu there’s good veggie options too. Must go back sometime for the fixed 2/3 course menu when a bit hungrier!

My wife I visited C&C to try out the new menu. Which is very exciting read and it took much deliberation to choose a starter and main. I opted for the Trout Tartar and Venison while my wife chose Confit Duck and Pork. The starters were superb. My Trout was amazing full of flavour and textures. I also had a sample of the duck which was cooked to perfection. Wow we thought let’s move to the mains. Once again the chefs at C&C did a fabulous job. The plates were beautifully presented and I am pleased to say there were great flavours to back it up. So hats off to all for the bravery in the menu and for delivering quality food presented in a lovely way. As a foot note a big thanks to all front of house too who were once again at their very best.

The Sunday menu at Fuso is to die for. The roast itself is very good value for money and flavoured perfectly. The sides are an extra bonus. Pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese and stuffing balls. Definitely my favourite place a Sunday lunch. Would highly recommend
