The foundry fish bar in County Durham

Ordered a chicken tikka wrap, marg pizza and chips. The wrap was so saturated with red cabbage juice that it was completely soggy and I’ve no idea what was in the wrap, meat wise, as it wasn’t chicken tikka it tasted awful. Chips were just the tiny bits you get when the chips have been removed and the pizza base was hard. Unfortunately, I read the reviews, which were good, and shouldn’t have.

Everything that was fried tasted exactly the same because the taste of the oil used was terrible. The driver phoned half an hour late to say he couldn't find the house, then took a further 5-10 minutes to get here, so wasn't near anyway. Awful.

no updates given for delivering. also came 20 minutes late

Plenty of meat in the kebab wrap… pizzas absolutely delicious… food was hot when it turned up!! Garlic bread was sublime!! Delivery driver was awesome too!!

Fish and chips nice. But pizza was meant to be chicken, and peppers there were hardly no peppers on it was meant to be stuffed crust, and it wasn't. It was also burnt.

Burger was just a cheep burger in a bread bun and the dinner meat was like cardboard and cold. Chips was also white and half cooked. Place has gone downhill

Fast delivery chicken was dry just about enjoyable, chilli sauce was really nice, donner meat wasn't to bad, chips where tiny, not sure if that's because I selected small But I wouild have thought that ment portion not dwarf chips, garlic was standard, filled whole though, sons pizza looked really nice

The cod was lovely but slightly spoilt by the thick stodgy batter which was crispy on the outside but a bit soggy (undercooked?) on the inside. The lady who served me was lovely and, as I have mobility problems, she offered to bring my order out to the car on subsequent visits. I'll definitely give it another try and request lightly battered on subsequent visits. My son felt the fish was totally spoilt by the batter but would be prepared to give them a second chance.

Presentation very poor orders wrapped in paper it’s just shed into paper the food was very greasy the internal wrapping was that greasy it’s looked translucent it would be better put Ono a box or tray taste has a lot to do with presentation battered mushrooms looked like a batter build it th th a mushroom on top of it all in all I will never be using them again

Very disappointed this is the first bad meal we have ever had from here. Both pizzas were burnt and ended up in the bin and the kebab meat was very very dry. Honestly was a waste of money this time which I'm so shocked and saddened at.

Had from here a few times and always been a solid 7/10 which given 20% was enough to swing us on a Tuesday. Yesterday's order however overall wasn't great, chips were chewy as though they'd been warmed up rather than fresh (probably not the case but that's how they tasted), fish tasted slightly watery which is unsual as its normally nice and meaty with the only saving grave for me being a tasty battered sausage. Appreciate the whether was poor as well but thought 90mins was quite a while to wait although granted they did say it would take that long. 4/10 for me with the vast majority of my chips and the cheese chips we had going in the bin.

Food was absolutely disgusting always order from here but I didn't have anything to eat yesterday apart from my fish and chips and when I was eating it well it just didn't seem right or taste right the fish was watery inside wasnt cooked properly at all and now I am really really poorly will be ringing up and complaining very disappointed wouldn't serve that kind of food to my dog!!
