Mi hermano gemelo Stephen y yo visitamos Chester durante dos días para disfrutar de los excelentes pubs que esta ciudad tiene para ofrecer y The Flookersbrook Pub fue uno de esos pubs que visitamos. El pub se ve bien, un interior agradable, buena decoración y mobiliario, incluido un bar de servicio de aspecto atractivo y muchas opciones de asientos repartidas por todo este pub, tanto dentro como fuera, con vistas a la concurrida y bulliciosa Hoole Road. Estuvimos aquí un miércoles por la noche, recibidos calurosamente por un miembro muy agradable del personal que nos sirvió una cerveza a cada uno, optamos por una lager, se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones, frías y espumosas y simplemente nos relajamos y tomamos el gran pub en el que estábamos. Mi cerveza era realmente buena, ligera y lupulada, muy fácil de beber, una infusión realmente refrescante. Seguimos adelante después de nuestras deliciosas cervezas y como en todas las visitas a aquí nos lo pasamos genial. El pub Flookersbrook es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Halkyn Road. Definitivamente vale la pena echarle un vistazo si estás en la zona.

13 HandbridgeExsqueezeme were a heaven send for our family during Covid. We were lucky to have fresh fruit and vegetables delivered every week. Ordered the Christmas box this year and it was amazing. I’m signing up for the weekly box now as the quality of the produce million percent outweighs what y ou get from supermarkets. It’s important that I feel my family nutritious and healthy food. Thank you!

Garden QuarterSabrosa comida vegetariana servida, porciones de buen tamaño, pero se sentía falta de atención al detalle. Aunque la comida fue agradable, hubiera sido bueno tener remolacha y un plato principal de hornear de coliflor con más textura y color, por ejemplo, nueces en el plato principal y servido con pan crujiente, y el plato principal servido con muchas verduras en lugar de una pequeña porción de ensalada de col pálida. Mi desierto de lío Eton también tenía muy poca mezcla de ciruela, que también me pareció decepcionante. Como grupo sentimos que había muy poco personal sirviendo y, por lo tanto, no parecía tener tiempo para preguntar cómo estábamos disfrutando nuestra comida, etc. y tuvimos que esperar un tiempo considerable para tomar té / café, momento en el que un buen número de comensales había dejado.

St Stephen Church Hall, Main Road MoultonWe were due to stop here in our campervan overnight (EHU available with a 3 pin adaptor) but got flooded in at the previous site at New Years! So as the landlord was so lovely with us on the phone, we decided to at least call in on our way home and have lunch instead! The food was fabulous, very large portions and the owners are as lovely as they are on the phone!! There is so much going on here - live music, Burns night at the end of the month, folk events, car boots weather permitting and books and board games inhouse to borrow - this place is a little gem and well worth a visit! Dogs are not just tolerated but actively welcomed with spare doggy blankets and a hamper full of doggy treats to purchase at really reasonable prices! We will most definitely be back to this lovely place and bring as many friends as we can, this establishment deserves to do well!
