quiet (when I was there) traditional pub near the tram. Good Guinness

Had Sky Sports showing the football and a nice environment to sit in for a drink or two

The Fletcher moss is a great pub. It has a good selection of beer which is well kept. The atmosphere is fantastic. Well worth a visit!!!

A large, great local, good beer with a spacious beer garden for when the weather is good.

We love the pub and bar service staff!!!! Security guard at front is horrendous. He is regularly there and every young woman I’ve spoken to has had a negative experience with him. Gives predator vibes, keeps you trapped at door in a conversation whilst he makes inappropriate comments - even racist and sexual remarks. Really awkward and uncomfortable position for young women to be put in - wish they would change security. I love all the indoor staff, just want to flag as I think they might not know how bad the security man is.

Great bar tucked down a side street

Bar was lovely. Staff were grand, except the bouncer. Made me extremely uncomfortable. As a queer presenting person, felt discriminatory. I heard that he has used slurs before. Hope they get rid of him, would make me more willing to return

Big pub loads of room good choice of beers

Very busy on Saturday night, good atmosphere. My only concern was the amount of empty glasses,bottles uncollected in the beer garden ,made it look untidy,the staff were under enormous pressure though as the pub was very busy.

This place is always busy but that only means it's great and the people keep coming back. They managed to for 30 of us in after a hike. They have great beer selections and the staff were really patient and kind.

Nice friendly local pub, a large seating area and little nooks inside. Service was a bit strange as everyone seemed really annoyed, I guess it was just a rowdy Saturday night which was getting to the guys. Other than that nice experience.

Lovely traditional pub. Really great decor. Beer isn't always kept in the best way from the bar tenders own omission. I bought a pint of the bone checker and it tasted like vinegar. Bought it back to the bar and barman said - 'does it taste like vinegar? Yes, this happens at the end of the barrel'. Can be full of awful students on the weekend in fancy dress doing the didsbury dozen. I was sat quietly in the snug when a large group came in disturbing the other customers peace and took over the space demanding TVs be turned on and curtains closed without any consultation with other customers. Upset managers do not help with the enjoyment of this place. Sometimes you're not going to get completely positive reviews unless you change what's going on in your pub.

Busy but a great atmosphere and a decent pint. Decent prices too.

Great Hydes pub. First visit back in the 70' when it was a basic back street local. (Hope Inn? ...Paulicarus says Albert Inn!) Hard to believe Didsbury took so long to become trendy. Totally refurbished in 1998. Big extension plus beer garden. Great sun trap. Worth heading off the main road. 90 seconds walk. Beer always in good condition. Full range of Hydes beers. Paulicarus had a Ralf and Alf in his favourite front room.

Had a baby guiness shot and the baileys was curdled, told staff who weren’t interested and didn’t offer a refund or a replacement drink. Disgusted.

Top boozer, great atmosphere and lovely beer. I got rather drunk but did not disgrace myself, for once.

A good traditional pub, ideal for catching up with friends and there are TVs for sport. The ale selection is decent though not massive. Not really a food pub.

I would have to say this is the best public house in Didsbury, smiley bar staff, strong selection of neck oils, including Beavertown Neck Oil, clean restrooms and the best part, a sweet, sweet vibe. Martin the LL is a very canny chap to boot. 10/10.

I preferred this place when it was The Albert. Like all of Manchester and especially Didsbury, it's become trendified and is trying to be something that it's not. Still, the beer is good, I'll give them that.

The best pub in the whole of Didsbury without a doubt. Still retains some of the old traditional features, but has been brought right into the 21st century. Fantastic outside area and of course superb beer. The Lowry is Spectaular. Managment ans staff should be proud.

Staff attitude v poor. Obvs led from top cos first drinks ordered from landlord. No hello/hi/ what can I get you just a yes ? Further interactions with rest of staff just the same. Disinterested and rude. Toilets filthy

Beer good. Plenty of space, including outside. Very clean. No butties yet AFAICT. Prices not unreasonable for Didsbury. Update Busier now. Larger and good selection of real ale, but butties not resumed. Further update 8/22 Even larger selection of real ale ( in good condition), but alas still no butties. Much busier, but plenty of room outside. Oddly two door management staff on early Sunday evening? Prices still keen for Didsbury.

Great beers and prompt service from pleasant bar staff. Beer garden was nicely designed despite being in a built up area, they've made the best of it and even managed to squeeze in a covered bit as well.

Love this pub, great food and drink with excellent customer service. Outside area is pretty smart too. Big umbrellas, comfy benches and heaters so you can sit out whatever the weather. They have bands, they beer garden is all weather's and perfect. Still the best pub in Didsbury

Easily the best pub in Didsbury. We don't live in Didsbury but whenever we visit, we always call in for refreshments. Lovely clean and comfortable interior and very large (recently refurbished) beer garden along with heaters that actually work. Service is excellent together with very competitive prices. It just shows what excellent management can bring to a pub. Why can't all pubs be like this ?

This is hands down the best pub in Didsbury, as a young adult I visit this pub most weekends and have never failed to feel welcome , the staff are so accommodating and friendly , have recommended this pub to people far and wide . Love it
