The Fish Bay in Wigan

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered 3 fish and only 2 tiny ones were delivered and the 3rd looked like it had been chewed up and spat out onto the chips. A total rip off. The fish was dry and grey inside. I feel sick

Belting food smack barms are the best around chips sausage cheese and gravy is bang on the fish are bloody lovely aswell big thumbs 👍 👌 also the staff are really friendly aswell best chippy around!!

Take away chip shop, not great value, fish not very big for the price and a bit greasy, took a while for fish to be cooked. just about ok.

The fish bay catered for a joint 30th and 60th birthday for me and my dad and they were absolutely amazing! The service was fantastic and the food was so good! Couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you!

Ordered large fish and chips,sml fish chips & peas Sausage chips , Chips and gravy 2 tubs of spicy curry. The food was still hot when I got home . It was delicious.

A very good chippy' fair prices, lovely staff, & tasty food. Very nice chips & gravy & my mum seems to be a great fan of the curry sauce that they sell. Open only somedays so you'll have to check dates & times.

Thank you to the Fish Bay and Cathrine for providing such delicious food and excellent service for our wedding reception. Our guests loved it and we had plenty of comments on how tasty the food was. Some of them even said it was the best fish and chips they have ever had. We would 100% recommend the Fish Bay for any event.

Well what a great touch to last night's bonfire at sculshaw willows. After our bonfire fireworks and a good drink hot food turned up and may I say it was fantastic if you think of this for your gatherings look no futher there great

Lovely food and amazing friendly service

Ordered from Uber eats and delivery was great. The chippy itself sent us a lovely note apologising for not having some of the items on our order in stock and included extra food (we’re stuffed as portion sizes are large anyway). They didn’t need to do this but what a lovely touch to have a handwritten note. You made my husband smile (just FYI he has a swinging brick for a heart) which was weird for me to see so thank you for the great service.

Fish Bay chippy came to my assistane and supplied chippy suppers for residents in a local care home this was done at short notice and made my residents evening go very well thanks for your support happy residents

Good fish not meny chips .top class chippy

Have been buying our fish and chips from The Fish Bay for a few weeks now and I have to say it’s the best fish and chips on Uber Eats for our area. Huge portions and more than fills the corner ( just responding to the drivers comments a couple of weeks ago 😂). First initial order the driver got stuck in major traffic and we assumed the food would be cold by the time he arrived. However the driver was very apologetic and we was surprised the food was still hot. The only niggly comment is that the the food was abit soggy due to the food being in polystyrene boxes. However our future orders of fish and spam fritters actually arrived crispy. From all the chippy’s we’ve had in the area The fish Bay is number 1. The only other 2 times we’ve given 5/5 for a fish and chips is a chippy in Filey called Ingham’s & Quayside in Whitby. So that’s saying summate. 😃 Huge portions, hot food, great taste & nice staff. Thank you

Waited 2hr to get chips that are mush with no colour. And an oily soggy fish.

We ordered from The Fish Bay Chippy for the first time this evening and we wasn't disappointed. The food was tasty, good portion sizes, hot and delivered really quickly with Uber Eats 👍😋 We would definitely recommend and will order from here again soon 😁

If you want fish you need to let staff know on your arrival what means it's always super fresh. You can also ring the shop and it will be ready for you. Great portions, lovely fries. Will definitely come back again.

Not a bad chippy tbh.. Not the best in the area though and make sure you ring in advance with your order too! Unless you want to wait 20+ minutes to be served in the shop, behind all the uber/just eat orders!!
