This wonderful establishment will be my over riding, cherished memory of my day oop norf to see the mighty Stones play fylde. Unlike the match, this pub played a blinder and resulted in a feeling of victory. One of those rare places where you felt right at home straight away. In many ways, my ideal pub.

I have been frequenting the Ali Raj ever since it opened and always been happy with the food when ordering a chicken dish. On this occasion I went for Lahori Jhal Machli, which is grilled fish with prawns. The sauce and prawns were fine but the fish, supposedly cod, consisted of bits of skin and no white fish. Very disappointed.

Just had drinks here on a quiet Saturday - Georgia was lovely, very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We found out Dil Raj were Fylde coast award winners when we moved here 5 years ago so we didn't hesitate to give it a go. They're absolutely gorgeous every time but this is the second year on the trot of enjoying Dil Raj on Christmas Day and they fail to disappoint once again. With the added bonus of a 2025 diary and a bottle of red wine thrown in I couldn't help but give them a review. Great food at great prices and a great service
