He comido en más o menos todos los restaurantes indios en el área y un montón fuera del área. Por la calidad de la comida, The Fat Swan es lo mejor para mí. Coherente cada vez que he comido allí. He probado 5/6 comidas diferentes y las he disfrutado todas. Más personas necesitan pistas sobre este lugar. Para empezar, era el precio más alto, pero no me importó pagar debido a la calidad, pero ahora han renovado su menú para ser más competitivos y ahora puede ordenar a sus sospechosos habituales (Madras, Vindaloo, etc.) por un buen precio y sigue siendo la misma alta calidad. Los popadoms y los panes se destacan para mí. Perfecto cada vez. Los chicos que dirigen el lugar son muy hospitalarios y te dan ganas de volver.

Mi novia y yo vinimos aquí por casualidad. Vimos la señal del restaurante al lado del pub de cisne torpe en Yardley. Decidimos dar el paso y comer algo aquí, ya que ya estábamos pensando en cenar en otro lugar. De todos modos llegó al restaurante y fue recibido por su camarero, que fue muy tranquilo y acogedor. Pedimos un chisporroteador de cisne gordo para comenzar junto con pollo 65. Sinceramente, la presentación fue hermosa, sin embargo, el sabor fue aún mejor. Estaba picante pero tenía la patada adecuada. El camarero tenía una buena relación con nosotros y no se apresuró a nuestro plato principal. Pedimos un curry de cordero ferroviario y mi señora pidió un chitwan de pollo. Nuevamente, la comida se presentó muy bien, pero el sabor era increíble. Preferí el ajo naan con el mío, sin embargo, mi señora era una persona arrocera, así que tenía arroz con el suyo. Cada uno a su gusto, supongo. El precio de todo fue muy razonable y de hecho pago un poco más en otro lugar sin la presentación que obtuve de estos chicos. Terminamos dejándonos mutuamente diciendo que es muy probable que esto sea otro habitual para nosotros. El camarero sugirió probar algo nuevo fuera del menú la próxima vez, así que una razón para volver.

Had a fab family Christmas Meal, at this highly recommended restaurant, The Fat Swan. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff, delicious menu, and lovely cocktails. We highly recommend the lush freshly made onion Bhanji’s, railway lamb, and the sag paneer. We all had a great evening. Thank you 😊

Después de leer las críticas, pensamos que probaríamos este restaurante, sin estar seguros de que la gente se dé cuenta de que está aquí, ya que no estaba muy ocupado. El menú era nuevo y la comida estaba deliciosa. Sunny era un gran camarero, estaba muy bien informado sobre toda la comida y las bebidas y tenía una gran relación con todos los comensales, definitivamente un gran activo para el restaurante. Excelente relación calidad-precio, y le recomendamos encarecidamente que lo pruebe.

Authentic North Indian/ Nepalese food. True to the region’s spices this place does justice to food. Not your typical tomato base curry but rather a variety of flavour in different dishes. The place also knows it’s customer service which adds to the experience!

The best curry I have had in along time partner and kids had the mixed grill and they all loved it. The chicken and spinach curry was by far the. Best I have had . And the host Sanju was Absolutely amazing very friendly with me. Partner and the kids found him great too. See you the end of jan fat swan. We all will deffo be back

Went to this new Desi Pub/Indian/Nepalese restaurant 2 days ago from my cousins recommendation. It was a Sunday evening and we were the only ones there. I understand that they have only recently opened. It’s above the main pub but still has a pub atmosphere that serves food which is nice. I’m sure once they become established and on a Saturday night there would be a nice atmosphere here. Because of it being empty we got a personal waiter who just couldn’t do enough for us I am Indian and in love food especially Indian food. We cook it at home and I go out frequently to eat. I have to say the food at this place is some of the best I’ve ever tried. It’s as good (if not better) than some of the best places in Birmingham town. We had the schizwan chicken and lollipop chicken starter. The flavour was very good. However it’s the curries and the naan which I was blown away by. Absolutely amazing is the only way I can describe it. We had the Chitwan Chicken curry and the Railway Lamb. Both had so much flavour and the garlic naan were perfectly soft. You can immediately tell that they use fresh ingredients as you can see the small garlic pieces which have been hand cut rather than using ginger/garlic paste as a lot of places do... this makes a big difference in flavour. The balance of the curries were just spot on...and the presentation to match too. In fact it’s the best presentation I’ve ever seen in a desi pub... more like a high end restaurant. I was so impressed I asked to speak to the chef to thank him for the food he made for us. The food was so good I’m taking my parents out to try it out this Saturday again... Can’t wait.

Lovely fresh food and friendly attentive service. Would recommend and lots of Vegan/Veggie options too. Nice to have a Nepalese restaurant local to us and not have to go up Town 👍🏼

I’ve been here a few times now and can say it’s honestly some of the tastiest food I’ve ever eaten. The staff are so attentive and friendly and I can’t praise the whole experience enough! Will defo be a regular!!

Love this place! Food is very tasty and the staff are really friendly. Not your run-of-the-mill curry house.. this food is a taste fusion of true Nepalese style and sophistication!

After reading the very good reviews, we thought we have to try it, on arrival the restaurant was quiet cold, ok it was early but the heating should be on in the autumn, but it was the food that let it down, the roti and Nan's were 1st rate the mixed grill was ok but nothing special and was expensive compared with like for like with other Indian restaurants, but what really let it down was the curry, it had an over powering taste of a spice I've never tasted before, nothing like a run of the mill curry, but I will say this the staff were 1st rate and when the restaurant straightens out a few problems with the food I.e the curry I will return.

Great food for lovers of curry dishes . Hygiene is top notch . Staff are friendly and have a great sense of humour as i gave a locket as a tip and was taken in great taste . Recommended .

Went for anniversary meal, friendly staff,food was amazing,, ordered for two but could had fed four, we took home what we couldn't eat and kids loved it too. Will definitely eat here again. Manager even brought us over a dessert to celebrate our anniversary,, lovely gesture.

We came here in July and probably one of the best Indian food anywhere in Birmingham. The chicken tikka is mouth watering and beautifully cooked. The quality is excellent !!! Really really impressed and we are not easy to please.

We enjoyed the food so much that we totally cleaned up the dishes well. Lovely food and service. The mixed grill is great and kid’s curry is perfect as it is not spicy for them to eat. Easy parking behind. Would definitely recommend it!!
