The Fat Cat Cafè Bar in Conwy

Very quite on Friday night, 2 average singers on had 2 rum and pepsi for £11.60. No prices, no menus, 1 disinterested member serving. Place looks run down, not clean, cobwebs above us. Clock as a feature above had stopped, toilets had not been cleaned, 2 stating do not use, 1 able to use and no toilet roll in any of them (even the 2 stating do not use) at 9pm. Once I had gone and asked for toilet roll, washed hands and dried with tissue bin opened to throw tissue in had flies coming out. Finished drinks and left. Would not go back again.

Friends and I came in on a Friday evening, one of our friends wanted to watch a certain match. Staff changed the channel, asked if we'd like the sound on but we said thank you but as others in there they may not! Nice touch though. 3 bottles wine later, plus a great girl singer we left and will be back! Very good.

Brilliant venue last night with the fantastic DJ Al with his karaoke...it's definitely the best karaoke bar in town. The bar staff are lovely too. It was my first visit here and the atmosphere was bang on! Very safe with quality door staff there who are very approachable. I'll definitely be back!

We were out for our wedding anniversary and popped in here. It was early so we were only ones there to start. I had been craving an Aperol spritz all day, first place we had gone in had no prosecco, so couldn't make one. When I asked for one in here, they had no Aperol, I told James I was having no success. He said ' hang on' went next door to their other bar and got me some. It was perfectly made, what great service.

Good pint and acting manager James a top bloke along with all the staff. Good music and atmosphere and will be back when we next visit

This place is like the walking dead. This place is just bad, bad, bad. Staff- 0/5 Cleanliness -0/5 Service 0/5 The owner must have huge amounts of money to be happy to see it burn. This place was the best in Llandudno for a long time, no reason it still shouldn’t be if people knew how to run a business

Staff are friendly as always, food was lovely and came out within 10 minutes of ordering just in time to watch the football 🤩

Several couples to watch the England v France game, we were nearly the 1st customers of the day, asked if they were having the match on, of which we were told yes. We ordered our drinks, 1 had to be returned as it tasted like line cleaner in it, we were cold and at half time the tv chanel was changed and didn’t go back to the rugby as by this time others had come in and were obviously taking preferential treatment over ourselves. Wishing I’d checked trip advisor and read the latest reviews and we could have gone elsewhere, never mind we won’t be visiting this place again .

Came hear Saturday tv blaring with sport etc ,said to barman if we come in get a drink and cake will you turn down noise blaring out , we were the only ones there, Told No we’re going to turn up even louder, after this negative comment we decided to leave ,And Never Come Back,I think these employees need to be retrained 🥱🥱

Was with a couple of mates on a Saturday evening,and before this place endeavors to suggest I was drunk,i wasn’t it being 7.30 and I was the designated driver,I fell down the bottom 4 steps which are a “death trap”. How on earth is any bar allowed to incorporate such a lethal piece of kit on its premises????? Avoid. Or at least hold your water ps learned after the fact that the latest in a long line of customers coming to grief on these v stairs occurred just the other day.

Despite a board outside saying food available it wasn't, but my group of 6 called back later to watch England v France in the six Nations as the board also says there's live sports.... arrived just after 7pm and all the TV's were showing a music channel. I asked for the rugby and was told they would put it on. Terrible beers and wines purchased and settled down to watch rugby which didn't come on. At this point there were 3 other customers, 2 were talking and the 3rd was messaging and said he didn't mind us watching rugby so I asked again for the rugby only to be told quite dismissively that it wasn't on until 8 and that they would put it on at 7.30.....they didn't.....if you don't serve food, don't advertise it, if you don't show live sport don't advertise it. Improving staff/customer relations should be a breeze, just employ someone who cares. We didn't stay long enough to use the toilets but I'd be tempted to believe the earlier reviews.

I had visited the Fat Cat many years ago and wanted to see how it had changed. I wished I hadn't bothered!! It was soulless on our visit, no character or positive vibe at all. The toilets were foul and the state of them would certainly put me off eating here. We drank up quickly and we will not be returning anytime soon

Stopped for a pint and food with a couple of mates. Had the pale ale which was sent back as it tasted off, swapped for a Guinness which was like dish water. The toilets in this place have been disgusting for years and nothings changed. Wouldn't catch me feeding a seagull with the food from here it was absolutely terrible. Not a patch on what it used to be many years ago. Worst place I've been in a long time. Don't waist your money.

Drink prices at £5.00 for a pint of IPA is expensive compared to other Bars and Pubs along Mostyn Street. Not the best selection available and the IPA we settled on on was not particularly good either. Bar was virtually empty during visit compared to the other venues which suggests a problem that managers should take note of. Wish we had. Taken together with the Grumpy Staff (they should be smiling at these prices) best to avoid with plenty of better value elsewhere.

Would like to say what brilliant drinks they serve here. Unfortunately after half an hour wait we gave up and went elsewhere. Everywhere we went in Llandudno the service was great, maybe this is the training place for hospitality staff in Llandudno? Found a table outside and we were asked to complete track and trace which we did. Nobody came to take our order so popped in and asked, went back to table and waited again. Eventually took order, only 2 glasses of wine so not complicated? Waited again, still no drinks so left .

Lovely little place with charming staff, the drinks were lovely if a little small, definitely worth stopping off here if your passing on a warm day

We were on a family day trip and we were wandering looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this place. We were welcomed by a friendly staff member who provided us with menus and told us to sit wherever we wished. Our drink and food orders were taken quickly, the drinks arrived in a timely manner and our food wasn’t too long behind. The menu wasn’t extensive but we all enjoyed our food and thought it was tasty and good value for money. The bar area and outside space were presentable and seemed clean and tidy, the facilities were also cleanly. We’d return here again if we were in Llandudno looking for lunch :-)

Had such a good time watching the football today! Very clean and good rules in place for covid. Staff very helpful and polite, nothing too much trouble. Food was amazing definitely recommend had chefs special peri peri burger. Will be returning soon as we can.

We have been to the fat cat a few times since it reopened. Much better than the venues last incarnation and remanesent of the previous Fat Cat which used to be located here. Staff friendly if a little overwhelmed if big groups arrive mid afternoon....

Went there on bank holiday Saturday. The singer was amazing, Phil i think his name was. Staff were fast and welcoming and the manager was lovely too. Would highly recommend
