The Falstaff Inn in Plymouth

Had a wedding reception here on 12th April, the food was delicious, the bar staff were very friendly & quick to serve, great atmosphere

Went there for Reform Party meeting and the staff done a fantastic job brilliant spread and made us all feel welcome.

This place has everything - 2 great pool tables, really nice food and staff that are happy to help. They also have a big function room which they can’t do enough for you. Nothing is ever big enough!

We held a family get together here 14/06/24 The function room was lovely, with fabulous views. The buffet was amazing! Lots of different food plus an absolutely huge amount! The vegan option was also excellent. The ladies who served us were very friendly and efficient. They were very kind and patient with the young children in our party. A massive thank you to Louise who answered my myriads of questions with patience! I have been told by one of my young nieces I am to organise another get together- so we will hopefully be returning to The Falstaff in December. Thanks to all the staff at The Falstaff for making our evening so enjoyable.

Decent pub, came to watch football with friends, was welcomed by locals and staff. All friendly and had a nice afternoon. Views at the back of pub over the hills is stunning.

Bar maid is probably the best I met! Her cocktails are the best!

Was greeted by a lovely young barmaid, “Lindsey” really friendly and polite, if only all pubs had staff this lovely.

This is the first time I have been back to the Falstaff since over a year ago , and I have to say the changes are great , we were at a wake this time, and to be honest I was not looking forward to it , not just because it was a wake but from my previous visit from a long while ago, I have to say I was it was so lovely , it was very clean and very well presented, the food they supplied for the buffet was amazing , plenty of choice and plenty of it , we are going to go back for sure , but this time we are going to try the pub's food .

This pub has been my local for over 40yrs. Have seen various landlords. I had my wedding reception here, my late husbands’ wake here, been to many private functions here too. Not been here for about 5yrs. Went to a wake of a dear friend yesterday. Give yourselves a pat in the back. The decor is lovely. The buffet you laid on was very nice. Keep up the good work

Spent the evening here for Valentine's day and proposed to my future wife (she said yes). Place has been done up nicely since I worked here years ago, very clean and a good selection of drinks and food, very nice ambience and friendly atmosphere, I love this place.

Great local family pub. We had popped in a few months ago for lunch after my sons team had a football match and there was a massive group of us and the pub was great very inviting so we decided for my sons birthday (12yrs) we would do the same with his team. Super friendly and very accommodating for everyone including a few fussy eaters. Would highly recommend for all ages 👌

Refused a wake due to the deceased person being banned? Think it’s absolutely disgusting as the person went there before they even owned it very rude as it was a final wish what harm can a dead person do very disgusting very rude owners used to love this place such a down grade on the place it’s a shame

Fantastic pub. Nice range of beers. Friendly staff and locals. Nice pool tables. Recently refurbished inside to a very high standard. The food is also really good and reasonably priced.

We have become regulars since the refurb. Amazing atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely recommend!

Great pub, I've been a regular here for years. I love the atmosphere here, the regulars are decent & the staff are brilliant. It looks amazing after the refurbishment, they've done an amazing job with it. Looks like a totally different pub.

Freezing cold due 2 windows smashed.but Sky working behind bar was brilliant n hard working,pity can't be said of landlord or landlady

Went for a pool match, great pool tables, service by the bar person was welcoming, friendly & great service. Prices very reasonable... Locals were also welcoming & friendly... if lived closer would definitely use more often

Great function room, great service and great view from the function room.

Just went to call in for a nice pint,but had to come away again.The beer garden was absolutely rammed with no social distancing.Groups of kids loitering. No face masks.....other pubs in the area are using strict guidelines so how on earth is this pub getting away with it???

Went with my sister and her young family, was an amazing new years night! Family friendly section was amazing! First time there on a very busy night for them and satisfied.

Attended a charity event on Saturday, staff very polite and helpful , everything set out for us ready. Would teccommend for a birthday / function on a small (80-100 heads) Great place .....lm the cake Lady !

Took a while to get a drink and not the cheapest pub i've been to, but it is a nice enough pub.
