The Fall Well - JD Wetherspoon in Liverpool

The steak was terrible, but I guess you get what you pay for, I ordered mine rare, it came med/well done.

It needs an upgrade ,not changed

Food was ok. Service from manager Rob was not! Ordered extra toast as a side and when asked where it was he accused me of being rude to him! Also currently serving margin not butter with toast.

Didn't have food but had a great time meeting old friends who I served with 30 years ago. Bit noisy as we were sat by kitchen hatch (do staff really have to throw bottles in recycling bin) but still a great day nattering and sorting family history out as friend didn't no his father served in Chindits in Burma in 2WW, he does now.

I do love eating here expecially around Christmas with my family it is always busy but yano that's life xx food is standard the service is how you make of it be nice to the staff they are nice right back and the atmosphere is always different depending on the time xx Staff do and try their best but does depend on the customer xx

Visited at lunchtime. The service is fast, and the food is good.

The Bar is always packed at the weekend. Sometimes 10mins or more can pass before you get served. Wetherspoons, no music which is a good thing,so you can have a conversation without shouting

Some fella spent 4.50! On a pint of bud and then loaded 60 notes in the fruity and only got 15 back. Great entertainment for 10.30 AM. Also seen a lad throw a pastie at a lady outside Greg's, so great place to watch people. Please ty of things happening.

A bit crowded in a Sunday morning, the staff can hardly cope. Takes long to Server you, but they keep friendly and engaged

Ignorant bar staff who pick and choose who they serve next and when challenged, they then tell you to 'zip it'...not very professional

Cheap and cheerful Staff are as fast as they can be on the more busy night overall can't complain

Breakfast was good for the price but it would have been better if we could actually see what we were eating! The lighting was so dim, it made it difficult to even read the menu!

As upto usual standards but do I good Guinness

This is a large venue, and on my visit was pretty busy. Food ordering took a while as there was only one order point open. The atmosphere and furniture feels thirty years out of date. The burger and chips ordered was poorly presented and dry. It wasn't expensive, but I definitely could have got a got a bigger, better, cheaper deal at burger king.

Dirty, smelly, not enough staff who seemed miserable and overwhelmed by number of customers. Not a 'spoons I'd recommend.

Sat outside as a non-smoker you expect an element of smoke around. However for the guy stood talking to the security man to was over, past a couple of tables to your table and put their ciggy out in the ashtray with an acknowledgement and or request then walk away blowing hos last drag into my face was a bit much before then going straight to puffing a vape!

Firstly my app would not work so had to queue at the bar to place my order. Feel they maybe need more staff on. Food was OK

What ever you do please don't get food from here. What I got wasn't fit for dog. American burger. Left it .the worst of the worst. And I mean BAD

This one is always busy, and I really like the breakfast here.

Food was served lukewarm so told one of the servers. It came back volcanic and the food was ruined by being over microwaved. I received a fresh hot meal on the 3rd attempt.

Hit or miss every time you go if want a table, basically a free for all trying to get served as people just shout from no where, just best using the wetherspoons app, saves all the hassle, food always hot and quick.

All ways busy but get served quite quickly good range of beers and spirits(it is a wetherspoon's)

Very busy on a Saturday afternoon, but we still found a table for a larger group.

Awful. If you're over 30 don't bother with this place, you need tech support to place an order. Ordering is just a nightmare. You have to download an app and register to get wifi to place your order. The "app" they have "loses" items, the wait staff can't take orders, the pizza had raw dough in the center. Hope I don't get sick.

We had a couple of bacon sandwiches and latte's. Recommended

A busy pub next to a theatre where we stopped for ore theatre drinks on a Thursday evening. It was busy but we still managed to find a table and seats for 7 of us Service was quite slow but we managed to get served in time to get to the show. A very noisy pub with a lot of people eating. A good place to stop for ire theatre drinks

It's a Wetherspoons, it's okay but needs a bit of TLC as looking a bit worn.

Very nice. Staff work hard. Compliments to Rosie who was working very hard and always had a smile on her face. The food is very good as expected from a large pub chain. Service comes out very fast too especially when Rosie is on duty. She is very efficient at her job and an inspirational leader. Napoleon would have been very proud of her work ethic and her peers should follow her example. We are all very much looking forward to our next visit. The venue can become very busy especially when tourists are attending football games at Anfield. There are very good transport links to get to various areas around the city and further a field. The public house is near Queen Street bus station. You have access to Liverpool Central Station, James Street and Moorfields are also a short walk too. Make sure you tip the staff especially Rosie and she is a shining ray of light in some dark times in the country. Keep up the good work Rosie make sure you get the recognition and rewards that come with it. Ten out of ten. Shame some of the other Wetherspoons are not like this one to be honest.

Was followed By a member of staff soon as I walked in the place and even that I needed to use the toilet he still accompanied me.After i challenged him I left to the bus stop where being g a 50 year old man I realised that I needed another bathroom visit this time I was approached by a person on the door refusing me entry being a bit confused to why I asked to see the manager I was just laughed at. Not even a bouncer just some fat kid on the door..Next day I called and spoke to the manager who was very helpful after explaining to her that I had recently had suffered a stroke she couldn't apologise enough for this immature person who refused me entry into the pub I was so embarrassed the way he just laughed in my face

This is a lovely pub. Staff was friendly. It's comparable to all the other Wetherspoons pubs in terms of prices. There is outdoor seating. The ladies room was clean. It's large and is lovely as far as restrooms go. The food arrived before the drinks. They could have put more cheese on the nachos.

Call in here on a Monday they have cheap drinks all day only £2.99 for pint of Guinness!

It's weather's ain't much more to say about it really. Microwave food cheap refillable coffee machine an cheap ale. Pay for what you get really.

My two daughters and a friend called to this place on Saturday between 7pm and 8pm my nineteen year old autistic daughter asked if she could enter with her friend same age and her younger sister who is fourteen they were looking forward to eating out with her big sister without mum and dad as we usually eat out as a family in Wetherspoons she asked door staff if she could take little sister in with her the door staff said to my daughter show me your proof of age before I answer the question which she did then this rude guy said no you have to be twenty one when she questioned it she was told my door my rules and was laughing with other door staff as they were sent away my daughter was so embarrassed at this rudeness and got a taxi straight home. I as a dad feel as though Wetherspoons have lowered the bar as a decent place to visit and I won’t use again this has knocked the confidence of my autistic daughter back by months as she has been looking forward to this meal out for months.I have phoned and spoke to a manager in the pub but conveniently they had different door staff on this Saturday. Thanks for the rudeness jd wetherspoon.

Nice relaxing place and friendly staff

Came in Friday night for some drinks with friends and ladies on the bar were wonderful! 2 of us needed a hand with something and they were lovely and super quick to help. 10/10

Stand at bar awaiting to get served. And wait. Some member of staff asks are you waiting to get served? Yes. Well you need to go to other till as these ones not working. Well a sign to state that would be nice? Then move down bar and when eventually get served. Guess what till they use? Yep the one I was told don't work!!!!! So attitude of staff here is do you dress up for Aintree races? Get served. Normal person you can wait.

Very poor this place, food was over cooked, missing items not particularly hot. Staff seemed OK apart from the one who lied about the food quantity. Drunk old men swearing next to us & beggars out the front. Dismal place

Not a huge fan. The place could do with being refurbished. The door man could of been less judgmental. I literally walked in from the pouring rain with my hood on and without giving me a chance to walk in he said to put my hood down. I didn't even get a chance to to get out of the rain. Least let my take my hood down when I'm not outside. It's not like I'm a 16 year old troublemaker. I'm a 42 year old woman that doesn't want wet hair lol. The bar staff were nice for a change though. Had previous problems with a few different bar staff months ago. Keep the customer service going. Don't make customers wait to get served because they're too busy chatting and don't make me wait 45 mins just for a bowl of soup or a side of nachos like I previously experienced.

Cold beans, cold hash browns cold bacon, rubbery eggs. I also found and egg shell in my egg. Over all not impressed at all. Service was quick but that's about all.

I visited Liverpool for a few days having the opportunity to discover this very welcoming pub. A clean place, with a pleasant atmosphere, polite employees and professionals in what they do, food and drinks at affordable prices.

Rosie was great. Excellent customer service and very kind.

Would have been great except ordering on the app… no phone signal, and the wifi required me to login again three times in the time it took to order a meal.

Once again Doom bar doesn't taste nice, no use complaining as the manager knows better.. I know my beer I was brought up in a pub and was a cellarman for 15yrs In a real ale pub..

New to Weatherspoons and popped in for quick meal before going to the panto, ordered only 1 of 2 meals (both the same) by accident, lovely member of staff said don't worry, will hold first till second ready. 0⁰

Fall well is a conducive environment to be . The view is satisfactory even from outside, very neat and well arranged .

Meals was served nice and hot and didn't take long to come to our table, service was really fast and friendly but quite in the day but better in the evening all in all a very nice experience and would definitely go again and recommend it

Very big pub nice food and good customer service

Tried the raman bowel with add half chicken breast and poached egg! Took coriander out and the chillies ( sorry about spelling) broth still had a kick and could still taste the coriander ! The noodles I swear were spaghetti and not noodles! Still nice and ideal on a cold day like today! Sorry no pic

Service is abit on slow side everytime I go to the bar never get serviced have to order via app. Or hunt down staff on the floor, find the food in here very expensive for the quality of the food. ( ordered two steaks more fat on the steak than meat) there was hardly anything on the plate just the fatty steak and few chips😕 on plus side drinks and desserts are reasonable price.

There are some Spoons I love, some I like and some are just awful, this one is on my awful list. I never like to critisize service staff, particularly customer facing, because I know they have a lot to put up with and generally work hard for little money, but they really need to improve the overall standards in this place.
