I had 7 item breakfast and tea very nice and the staff good too

First time there this morning. And the last. I was overcharged - says on menu 7 breakfast items for £4.50, I had 7 items and paid £5.35.

What can I say pie chips & gravy £4 bargain

Horrible staff Bad Attitude even though bought something from next door the same chain Pound Bakery I couldn’t eat outside here so I won’t be going to the Pound cafe or Bakery

The high chairs are the most disgusting ones I have ever seen. The breakfast was £3’50 and it was insipid, bland, cold and tasted horrible. The staff were the same as the breakfast. And the speakers were extremely loud and broke so they made a robotic sound. All in all a horrible experience.

Not a very nice breakfast Part of it seamed half cooked inside Plates worn and dirty £14 for 2 half cooked breakfasts Re named from pound cafe where I had a lovely breakfast so don’t know what’s changed 🫡🫡 Service polite

I reg breath on cutlery and clean with serviette . Today both sides knife covered in baked bean sauce and refused to wipe the table down. Faulty towers lol all day but it's cheap the staff know me by now. I'd not bother complaining like or lump it off. Never had a bad meal or snack. Too busy and short staffed ..

Now I see why this place is so cheap. The service is horrible and the staff harass you. They have no concept of the phrase “could you please?”

Very feeling and so tasty. Food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful last time we came the sausages and bacon tasted a bit salty

My Family and I ordered cheese on toast sandwiches with coffee. The food was good. The staff is unfortunately not friendly!

Value food served with a frown. It is what it is I suppose, the food was edible and cheap and set us up nicely for the day

Went it for food later on in an afternoon, they've not got this, they've not got that too, "oh we not going too cook something basic just for you" attitude. Very lousy couldn't care less staff

Very friendly staff, good size 7 item breakfast for £4.50 , Tea £1.60. Sausages were a bit tough & over cooked but all other items were perfect. Will be back!!

Great value for money for 7 item breakfast, portions of baked beans more generous than wetherspoons. Cheap cheerful, cafe is nice, comfortable enough, friendly service.

We went for a snack and cup of tea. It's great fora budget snack but you can have breakfasts too.

Unbelievable affordable, and I had my first ever full British Breakfast here courtesy of my colleague. Looking through the menu and the pricing, it's unbelievable how affordable it is. There are enough seats to go round, and the ambience is relaxing and beautiful. Hardworking staff and clean environment. You can have your breakfast and catch up on your news here without stress.

Quick task bakes etc...and service. Good value for money.

I went there to have a breakfast while I was in town shopping.

While staff were friendly. Unfortunatly 2 stars are for cleanliness the dishes are disgraceful as a person who works with food I would be utterly ashamed serving food on these dishes.

What a disgusting attitude from the girl on counter taking orders simple request for two 7 item breakfast was met with contempt what 7 items do you want? Well what 7 items are on offer I asked you have to declare what you want which I did and everything I ask for is met with no you can’t have that so ordered 6 items as everything else seems is not allowed inc toast I was told that’s only 6 yes I agreed but everything else seems to be not allowed the look and glare I got off the young girl was enough for me to cancel and leave customer service and communication is zero at this establishment and won’t be returning or recommending avoiding this restaurant is a must nothing wrong with a bit o courtesy if you don’t like what your doing then I strongly suggest you leave this type of work you have no need to be rude discourteous to customers if your having a bad day leave it at home or take time out

Although it is cheap it wasn't the best experience. Ordered the savoury meal but just pasty and chips came as they didn't have peas. Had to ask for gravy. I ordered special cheese on toast with bacon. No bacon. No cans of pop so had coffee which wasn't the best. It filled a hole and was 8.80 for everything so you do get what you pay for. Staff were exhausted and run off their feet. Got swept round while qe were eating haha

No frills cafe . Nice tasty food. Clean ,with nice,hard working staff. Prices are probably the most reasonable that you'll find.

Just wanted a light meal so I opted for the 5 item breakfast at £2.25. I was very impressed with it , and I will definitely call again

Perfectly serviceable English-style breakfast offerings, dead cheap and filling. Very fast service. Worst coffee I've ever tasted. Will come again.

WHAT A DUMP,,, Staff are so rude in here, dust and rubbish on the bookshelves and sideboards, food was OK, but no sauces no drinks, knifes and forks were dirty, looked like the floor had never been cleaned, chairs all ripped, and if u dare to complain the staff just walk away from u, food is almost thrown off the tray on to ur table no conversion at all

Want to give a special mention to the Gentleman and Lady serving behind the counter there always so friendly and helpful 😊, plus food is always nice,whether it's an All day Breakfast or Bowl of chips with a Steak pie which by the way is Delicious and a cuppa tea,what more could I ask for 😊

Terrible service, they said a 15min wait but it turned out to be 50min wait for 2 toasties.

Wow what a disgrace!! Went in due to the amazing values advertised on the cafe window. Went In yesterday at 2.30pm and said they're only doing cheese on toast (along with a bad attitude). Went back the next day and again, very bad attitude! Told us not to sit at one particular booth. Then asked what we want. Then when delivering food to our table, she slides the dinner off the tray and walked off! Comes back with 2 bowls of chips and just slides it across the table (not to the person who ordered the chips). She didn't apologise about the sliding of food off tray and on table. The sausages are horrible and so was the egg! They can't cook bacon at all neither. It was also cold in the dining area, (inside), in fact it was that cold, u could see ur breath!! Seats were ripped. Tables don't look wiped down. Not to mention, we are in coronavirus times. Overall, the experience was not a nice one at all and I won't be coming back. This is the poundcafe in Kirkby, Liverpool.

Whilst this cafe is decked out tastefully, the furniture is worn and ripped. The prices here can't be argued with unless you wish to pedanticly point out that very few of the items on the menu are actually a pound. Expect the establishment to be filled with ladies on a break from spending savings at the bingo hall.

Just what the doctor ordered I'm diabetic and my sugar was low and found this cafe just in time very friendly staff and egg on toast was to die for

Brilliant cafe, food is good and all at a very cheap price. Build your breakfast for 35p an item, pie chips and gravey£2.50, chicken nuggets and chips £2.50, cakes from £1.00-150. Clean and bright and spacious.

If you are ever in Liverpool....go here for breakfast, it's hilarious, it's so good and cheap

It was cheap which is good so I guess you get what you pay for, the sausages with the breakfast are awful. I suggest you get there early if you want to eat as we got there in the afternoon and they had stopped doing all the meal deals, ham, egg and chips for example. The tables hadn't been cleaned down either.

5 star breakfast for a couple of quid ?? Cant be beaten best value ever.

It is called pound cafe for a reason! Slow service, food not completely hot, no serviettes . Not particularly clean either. Have breakfast somewhere else!

Awful place! Runs out of food often. After queuing for 30 mins. Got told big breakfast was being stopped. Staff too busy slagging other staff off. Rude woman snatched me tenner off me, before I'd even ordered. Avoid like the plague. Go to St John's for a better experience.

on our visit 30/12/19. We were quite confused about the queing system for the cafè as it seemed mixed up with the take away section. A female member of staff (cleaning) barged through us with a broom after glaring at us horridly despite myself looking confused. She continued to act in such a unwelcoming way we walked straight out and didn't bother here. Cheep food or not I expect better standards of customer treatment a nice hello or can I help would have been nice. Really dissapointed! ☹️
