Don't bother if you fancy a nice chippy tea Chips were dry and tasteless as was the salt and pepper chicken fried rice undercooked and clumpy- won't be rushing back

First time Iv ordered from here.. fast delivery Nice chips The Salt & pepper chips looked plain and could of done with some peppers and chilliest but they tasted nice regardless.

Always been fantastic food, in the last few weeks its gone down hill. The chips, the peas, the gravy not that nice. If its not broken dont change it, charge more for quality than settle for cheap!!

Great customer service and food

Recived my meal tonight special fried rice barbecue sauce salt pepper king prawn .no taste to the fried rice sauce was like water and taste the same . salt pepper prawns covered in onions no peppers .ended up in the bin wasn't very happy at all waste of money .

This is quite possibly the nicest Chinese takeaway I have ever been to. Every part of our food was exactly how we had hoped it would be. Just perfect, absolutely exquisite 👌 We will definitely be eating here frequently.

I haven't been to this chippy for a few years but it used to be lovely! Decided to go tonight and I have to say it is by far the worst chinese I've ever had. I got crispy chilli beef, Salt & pepper chicken....and it was if it was cooked the day before and warmed up! It must have been took over because it used to be lovely! And it was expensive aswell. 🤮

Don't know if someone else had taken over but the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Be a while before I use them again, if ever.

Lovely food and friendly staff. It is close to the hotel we stayed in and went for 2 takeaways. The portion size is huge, much bigger than expected and so cheap

Beautiful food, great staff too. This Chinese chippy I'll travel to even when not at work. Try the chicken noodle soup, Singapore Chow Mein spicy, or the salt and pepper chicken pieces spicy. The Chinese chef really knows what he's doing there.

Food is ok, I would say the gravy, curry and BBQ sauces and the sauces that come with meals are very watery....please thicken the sauces!! OK we are in May 2021 and I need to review this again. Purchased fish & chips today, the fish was salty as anything but the batter was ok. The chips were warm ups and the gravy and curry sauces are still watery. Think I need to find a new chippy!!! Just not hitting it, everything tastes highly salty, also the fried rice is a no no, literally brown rice and thats it.....cant see egg, onions or anything. Gonna go the Jumbo chippy, Princess drive next time. Some positives are the staff are really friendly, the chippy itself is spotless and delivery is fast.

Excellent!! Ordered a banquet for 2 for husband's birthday and extra fried rice & curry sauce. Very friendly welcome and service. Travelled a few miles the Heng Xing. Well worth the journey.

Moved in area a year ago and tried a few chippies around, i didn't like any of them...but, found Heng and this by far is the best one and is the only one i will go to. ...food delivery is quick, food is hot, fresh and tasty. Good amount of vegetables in the meals, the chips are lovely. Prices are reasonable too...win, win.
