The Fairfield Inn in Oadby and Wigston

Great place for a local knees up, option of hiring the function room, which is a great size for birthdays or other occasions.

Really good night had at the Leicester soul groove radio station Soul Night.

Great pub, been coming here for years, great atmosphere. They have regular quizzes which are great fun with prizes for the winners. Good selection of food and drink, staff are really friendly and helpful with a good sense of humour. They also host special events Halloween, new year, etc which are always fun. Visit this pub, you won't be disappointed!

Awful. No management, drunks threatening other people, member of staff drunk and provocatively touching people. Not a nice place

Attended a wake in the Fairfield Inn. The buffet was very good and well laid out in the allocated room. Bar service was very good as was the drinks from the buffet. Enough seating for those attending. Very good all round place to go.

went today 26/2/23 will list faults and good 1....The MOST important thing is EVERY ONE was complaining how cold it was in the room. it was the same the week before so get that sorted as you will lose customers 2....Tell your cook to test the things befor getting them out in the serving trays. IE carrots not cooked, mashed spuds got a very bad tast to them. NOT PROPER spuds. all greens not cooked. not only us complaining but a lot of other people as well. In fact the person did come and take them back to the kitchen after every one had been served. I prsume they looked at all the plates with veg on them being sent back 3.....Beef Pork and Turkey melted in you mouth and VERY tasty PLUS FOR THE PUB 4.....When the server ask what would you like and you say some of each please they give you a slice of each meat. NOW when you say just pork/beef/turky please, then I would expect three slice of pork, same as if you would ask for bit of each not just two thin bits. 5.....Staff very good and helpfull Hope you can get these things sorted and you will have a good pub Regards Tom

Had a party there on 15th. Bit disapointed that on arival to set up room still was not free. Also had to sweep floor myself ready for our guests to arrive!! Function room ok..but just ok!!

Wonderful place. I had my 40th birthday here and the staff were so lovely and helpful.

Lovely place, went here for a wedding party and they did an amazing job, staff were all over looking after the party and serving drinks up fast as well as tidying up and gave lots of smiles. Very well decorated and nothing felt out dated cozy-modern feel and it was nice sitting outside and playing jenga! Spacious but cozy, Lovely lovely place, homey atmosphere for a special occasion, it was so easy to feel comfortable in a new place. + Toilets were easy to find, were clean and well maintained too!

Not the usual place I would leave my wife as it was bikers evening but the beer was fine and the staff were good and found her a quiet corner.

1st time at Fairfield Inn and had an amazing day, Ride Out Leicester are great fun people, awesome family day charity event for Loros. I took my son here on our first ride together as he just passed his CBT & he absolutely loved it.. the staff are really nice and everyone is so welcoming.

Decent boozer, clean with a beer garden next to a nice little park

Enjoyed my coffee morning. Staff friendly and helpful, no complaints when I took my small dog with me. Will definitely go again.

Received a parking ticket after parking and drinking in the pub. It's dark outside and not well lit to see signs and the pub and bar was too busy to see the tablets to enter reg. Would have been nice to have been made aware this was needed to be done by a member of staff. Won't be coming back.

Friendly not nice to see old friends

Went to the Fairfield Inn to a wake yesterday very good. Think the bar staff did excellent job coping with the amount of people that turned up. Think the actual pub could do with a make over and bringing up to date.

Made our first re visit today for Sunday carvery and was really disappointed, dinner wasn't even warm , we wasn't the only one, as heard someone else complaining and the amount got served didn't warrant the price increase of £3 , didn't get offered reduction for one of us not having meat like we did before ,

Well its outside only but the beer is good and the garden very pleasant so support your local!

Fabulous. Went for a 70th birthday .Carvery was first class. Beef Pork and Turkey with lots of fresh cooked vegetables. Reasonable priced drinks. Lovely new refurbished function room. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The pub is lovely . Would have given five stars but our night was ruined by a man spiking a drink. We went to the staff to let them know and they basically said he's a regular there and wouldn't do such a thing. The lads that was spiked ended up being really ill because of it. My friend was also spiked on a different accassion at this pub.
