We went for dinner at 7.30 on a Saturday evening and were advised that they only had one steak left and one pork dish They also had no sourdough and when the steak came it was cold as were the chips... The service staff were unapplogetic and appeared to not give a dam we enjoyed ourselves or not !! Terrible evening On entry to the bar, there were no draught pale ales or bitter, the options of bottled beer were poor.... Estrelle et al

Could be better for £33 for Sunday lunch. Denton sausage starter was bland. Lamb was tasty but 50% fat. Chair back rest I sat on broke and apparently it happens a lot. Staff were lovely but the food wasn't anything special. Poor zero beer options. It's San Miguel or nothing.

Really lovely pub and amazing decor! Dinner was unfortunately hit and miss. Firstly the waiter didnt write down our order when taking it....And missed 3 things off. Annoying. The squid starter was one thing that was missed so we asked for it as we wanted to try it. It came out after our mains and was absolutely vile so we sent it back. Whether it had been sat on the side and never made it to us or weather the kitchen rushed it because they forgot I do not know. But it was inedible. The other starters were amazing, the mains were good and the desserts were average. Overall we did enjoy ourselves but some things deffo missed the mark. We decided we would go back again and try the pie for 2 next time.

A place that has been on my list for probably over a year. Food was amazing and has now ranked to my number 1 place for a roast dinner. Great service and great atmosphere. Will 100% be back to try some more of the menu.

I called in here for a drink before dining elsewhere. However I saw thw Sunday lunch menu and planned a return visited with friends. I was surprised that a pub , acknowledging it is a terrible attractive pub, charges me over £30 for 2 glasses of sauvignon blancnc. Yes, it was from New Zealand but that is a huge mark up. Sunday lunch was in the restaurant upstairs. With wine, a set 3 course lunch cost £130. Top quality food. Mixed service. Disappointing that some menu items were not available. Frankly, just not worth the money. I would not return. An average rating is generous. I would not return.

The service & staff were pleasant. The food was little better than mediocre. The most outstanding aspect of this experience of eating at Greggs, Cherry St Birmigham was the filthy condition. There were straws on the seats. Servietes on the floor and ripped up sugar containers, all littering the floor. The place wasn't that big and would only have taken 3 or 4 minuets to clean. I asked how they can serve people food in such a dirty environment. I was told they were too busy to clean. I said what about the 2 people in the back, that I could clearly see. She siad do you want to go and ask them? I declined. They have got their priorities wrong. Clean first, serve food second, but then I suppose it's all about making money. I certainly won't go back, and nor will I go to another Greggs.

Ordered today and as usual your store has not sent dips. This happens everytime we order, we should of recieved dips with the crinkle fries, the footlong pepperoni dipper and with the cheesy bites. I even tried to call the store beforehand knowing this would happen but the number provided is incorrect!

Friendly and welcoming little cafe. Lovely coffee, good service, best cakes. We had the banana bread -moist, spiced and topped with nuts and seeds- and an iced lemon polenta cake also delicious.
