It is the best Chinese takeaway for miles around the staff and is friendly and helpful. The takeaway service is on time or earlier, and their menu is quite extensive, and the food is gorgeous.

unfortunately not very good at all, food was very poor, flavours weren't nice. most of the meal was left, I shall not be returning.

Excellent fish and chips. The fish was lovely and flaky, and wrapped separate from the chips to prevent soggy batter. Had Chinese food from here too, also very good, particularly the salt n pepper spare ribs. I think maybe this takeaway has gone through several managers or chefs over the last couple of years, but right now it's really good. A proper English Chinese chippy.

Delivery driver was rude and no apology for being late. He questioned my name

Ordered food, tonight,at 6.45 with a time of 7.30 to be delivered. Nothing. My daughter rang up at 7.45 to be told they were just doing it and it would be 15-20 minutes. It finally arrived at 8.15!!!!! We appreciate your busy so don't give a time that's not achievable and when it's delivered, an apology wouldn't go a miss. Not good service Oriental City and it isn't the first time either.

Chow-mien was really good, unfortunately the Crispy chicken in Garlic chilli Sauce was really bland and not at all spicy. I know weather was bad, but the app said it had been delivered 30mims before it arrived, maybe to trick Justeat they delivered on time??

10/10 been looking for a Chinese chippy in Manchester and this was amazing perfect chips, omelette and chicken balls will order again! :)

Disgusting. Chips were either raw lumps of potato or dried up cardboard, both of which came from poor quality/ bad potatoes. Sausage looked and tasted like it had been kept warm/reheated multiple times for about 3 days. Can't believe they had the nerve to charge for food that pigs would turn their noses up at. Wonder why there isn't an option to add a photo?? 🤨

Excellent Couldn't fault it.When I opened the King prawns w/cashew there was a lovely,fresh scent of the sea.The prawns were delicious and the freshest I've ever eaten.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best Chinese I've had in about 30 years. Everything was beautiful and you could taste all the ingredients. The delivery guy was one of those people you wish was your relative. Will definitely recommend and be back soon! 10/10 !

My stars are very low because l normally order from Sale Circle chippy but the last vegetable chow mein was awful . I did complain to the shop they say next time you get a free one . Trying to order tonight found out it was very expensive for delivery l am literally down the road and was a regular customer. Of course they do not remember my last chow mein order or the free next time you order . No more chips and curry worked out cheap enough but with delivery it’s ridiculous the amount well over £10 including delivery.. I think a lot of ppl put up with the awful food because it’s the only local chippy at sale circle. But instead we need to stand up together and say not accepting this over priced disgusting food any longer . We need new Management to take this place over as this is a shocking place to call an English chippy .

First time ordering from here after seeing really good reviews. Unfortunately Pork and duck completely overcooked not edible, salt and pepper chips no seasoning, no chilli and very little 5 spice. Kids enjoyed the chicken balls with sweet and sour which is something. But overall really not good, such a disappointment after hearing great things

they did advise that there was a delay, so not an issue. The problem was, we couldn't tell the difference between the crispy shredded chicken (not shredded or crispy) & the sweet & sour chicken! slight difference in colour, but thatvwas it! one of the ribs was lovely, the other ribs were triangular & in so much sauce & had a batter that stuck them together, at 1st glance it looked like it was the crispy shredded chicken... I found the taste quite nice, but my husband wasn't impressed.

Delivered on time, in full and hot. Crispy shredded beef- great flavour, crispy texture Combo for 1 - crispy, flavourful. Rib was a little well done in texture but tasted sweet and delicious Tofu and mixed veg- flavourful, excellent portion Soft noodle - had a slightly odd flavour too it, almost medicinal like. Was okay. Would order again.

Food was terrible. The crab balls were burnt and the chow main was bland no gravy like I asked for 2 prawns only. Won’t be ordering from here again complete waste of money.

First time ordering and disappointed to say the least wasted £50 on tasteless food. Nothing salt and pepper about the chicken and was very tough with about 10 pieces in the box mostly onions. special fried rice next to no meat in that either the only tasty thing was the crispy seaweed.

Good tasty food, quickly delivered. loved the duck in black bean sauce! Salt and pepper chicken wings were a favourite in our family, although this time a couple were a little overdone and too crispy.

First time ordering from here in a long time, lemon chicken and orange duck absolutely beautiful full of flavour and meat cooked very well! other than the fried rice everything was spot on. Definitely recommend

Just had a takeaway delivered and have to say the best Chinese I've eaten...

Last night, spent over £20 on a chippy tea which was almost unfit to eat. Have given 2 stars but only cos the fish & curry sauce was fine - all the chips (3 portions), and the 3 different pies, were awful. Chips were raw inside (obvs half cooked & then reheated) The 3 Holland pies had obvs been under the lamp most of the day as the pastry was rock hard and the contents had all "set". When I rang to complain, offered food next time we come in. Don't think so. Would've taken them back if I'd had time.

Absolutely awful, ordered from just eat food was cold salt and pepper chicken wings white greasy and salty couldn't even eat them also had salt pepper chicken no flavour dry and onions pretty much black and noodles and bean sprouts cold terrible for 30 pound I've just paid and wasted. Would not recommend and will not be ordering again after I've just wasted 30 pound

The Wife and I had food poisoning from the fish, which is the only food we had eaten all day so it could only have been the fish. It was under cooked, the batter pretty much raw. We won't be eating there again.

This place has gone hill since being taken over smaller portions for more money. The quality of the food is so poor that my dog would not even eat the foul smelling ribs. The onion for the salt and pepper dishes must of been fried in dirty oil because of the colour of them. This place is nasty and so be closed down. Norris Road and further up sale road offer better food and and better price.

Curry was extremely salty and a very weird pink colour with no flavour unless you really like salt.Ribs had a nice flavour but more fat than actual meat.Salt and pepper chicken was inedible due to the salt content.Used to be a regular here but won’t be ordering again.

Good sezame prawns toast(just they had fargoten add sauce how was on menu) Very nice and tasty sweet and sour chicken but the most SALTY special curry,it was not eatable!

Nice chippy, and had my very first salt and pepper chips with my Yung chow fried rice and they were very nice. 😉👍
