Visited last night for the 1st time. Had a great evening. Friendly staff & customers, the Licencees, Jay & Jo could not have done more to make me feel welcome.

Used to love coming in here, have moved to Bolton now and this is possibly the place I miss most.

Your local pub really needs you. Michelle and staff are doing all they can to keep your local open. It's a really hard time for local pubs, amid all the price rises.

Weird people drink in there..I've been told that by someone I trust 100 °\▪︎..he said the minute they walked in..everyone looked at stared, and continued to do so..unless it's because he looks weird 🤔 haha 😄 hahaha 😅

Even after so-called "remodel" still not clean, especially bathrooms. Very little choice for drinks. Such a shame because it could be fantastic. Would rather the long walk up to Lion for better stock and choice and prices.

Good people, landlady is awesome and cooks good food for pool night! Only 4 stars because there was only 1bitter on and no real ale... But loads of lagers if you're a lager drinker!!!
