Food took forever to come out and when it did by the time I got my overpriced and burnt chicken "sandwich" (which was just a overdone chicken burger) my family had already eaten all of their food! The waitress/manager was so proud to tell us that the chefs were trained in house and from the taste of the food you can tell! The staff were not attentive and just in total a awful experience as well as overpriced. I will not be recommending to anyone!

This place is by far the best American Southern food I’ve tried. Went with a group of friends the buzz and atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The cocktails were so unique and fresh. The wings and meat trays were out of this world delicious. The portions were very generous. Over a brilliant dining experience and value for money. It’s definitely a quirky, unique and welcoming experience. They really know what they are doing when it comes to smoking meats and mixing cocktails.

Lovely food and great ambience. Would definitely recommend this place. Loved all the drinks options also. The cocktails were on point.

Extremely disappointing service which ruined a nice meal. Even the following day, I'm perplexed as to the "service" we received last night - our waitress seemed very inexperienced and nervous which resulted in very poor service, garbled messages about eco concerns whilst enquiring about the seafood special .. she mentioned chicken with spring onions??? She flitted between being semi attentive and downright ignoring requests - I had to ask the kitchen porter for the bill as the 3 staff stood with their backs to us despite my trying to catch their attention! The cocktails are second rate, my passionfruit daiquiri had never seen a passionfruit and when asked how it was, I asked what the plastic squirty bottles were that supposedly contained the passionfruit? The waitress told me she was waiting on "someone" to return to discuss it but of course, the mystery someone never appeared. For a tenner a pop, I'd expect more than pre mixed ingredients out of a plastic bottle and a decent straw that doesn't warrant replacing half way through because it has collapsed and was impossible to suck through! As for my partners Old Fashioned - the waitress mentioned they'd run out of "smoke" to accompany it "Just in case that makes any difference to it, ha!". Very professional!" Overall, I won't be recommending this place. The staff are shambolic, inexperienced and treat the place like they're pretending to run a restaurant for laughs! I've never had such a strange dining experience and at almost 75 quid, I certainly won't be looking to return to Coupe. Think twice before you hand over your hard earned cash!

Great food and drinks. But beware, although the price is on the menu for food, they don't have drink price for drinks. 2 mains and 3 drinks totaled to £82 !!!!!!!!

This was my first time in Coupe- I attended with 3 hungry friends to celebrate passing our exams and after my dinner I feel we should celebrate our fantastic dining experience. The restaurant was quiet with only one other table eating during our meal- I suppose this may be expected on a rainy Tuesday night, but the restaurant didn’t lack atmosphere with the friendly waitress made polite conversation and good background music filled the room. The service was very quick with delicious fruity cocktails being freshly shaken in minutes and served with extra sparkle and garnishing. The starter (butter honey chicken wings- yum) and main quickly followed and it was big and delicious. We chose the brisket, pulled pork and ribs- admittedly it looked fairly unassuming served with 3 sides and a brioche each. We loaded a strange concoction of ingredients into the bap and, oh my goodness, it was divine. All of the different meats and sauces had so much smoke and flavour and the mac and cheese was heavenly- considering I normally wouldn’t be a fan. All the staff were so friendly and we finished off the meal with a further cocktail each- our total an average of £26.50 pp and which I would consider an absolute bargain for the quality, quantity and excellent service we received. Can’t wait to go back.

Can't knock the food it was lovely enjoyed every bite , but we were moved tables 3 times and it took them 40 mins till we got a drink and a future 15 mins B4 they took our order in all we waited a hour and 45 mins which is to long staff were really nice but waiting time is crazy

Funky place, quiet but if busy, would be good atmosphere. Service was good but food was pricey!, No prices were specified on menu and bill was hand written.

Went in for lunch last week. Superb time. Food was amazing. Staff service was soo friendly. Will defo be back. New menu and drink menus superb

We booked a table for 6:30pm and were seated immediately as the restaurant was not busy. It took 15 minutes to be given a menu. We ordered wine and beer and my beer didn’t arrive until half an hour after I’d ordered it and it turns out they’d ran out of what I’d ordered so I had to order something different. When we tried to order food we were told that the chef had to let the waitress know when she could take more orders. When we finally ordered food it took until 7:45pm to be served and we were then told that one of the items we’d ordered was no longer available. The waiting staff seemed inexperienced and forgetful. The chef received another complaint from another table which we witnessed. The food was nice but certainly not worth the wait. The experience from start to finish was a complete disaster.

Tried the new letterkenny food truck. Really great bbq and hot sauces. Highly recommend the pulled pork and blueberry hot sauce so so good

Been to the dirty souls around 3 times now with my partner and all I can say is wow wow wow. Staff are AMAZING literally haven’t ever met better staff. Food is amazing quality and portion size is insane. It’s incredible having such a different food restaurant in the town instead of the same old tobacco onions. Have recommended this place to everyone I know already, and will continue to do so. Jeanette (I think that’s her name) is incredible, everytime we come in she makes us feel so at home. Love this place so much No matter what you’re in Derry for, give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

Had the brisket with waffle fries and mustard dip, 1 of the nicest places i've tried in town. Would Recommend!!!

We visited here as a family (2 adults and 2 children). The food was delicious, so tasty and fresh and we all enjoyed it (my kids can be very fussy!) Recommend the mac & cheese and waffle fries and the cocktails/mocktails were also lovely. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back and highly recommend a visit to anyone.

Amazing food in the heart of Derry. Such friendly staff that chat away to you. Feels like you’re sitting in someone’s kitchen with a fire lit. Cannot recommend this place enough for the amazing food and gorgeous atmosphere. Favourite place to eat in Derry

Date night out (babysitter etc) dinner went with a lovely bang!!! Staff were very helpful with the menu, dishes were all lovely and fresh and tasty. Chicken and champagne who would’ve thought!!! Definitely going to recommend to everyone.
