Milkshake tasted absolutely vile and on top of that customer service was rude and arrogant.

Order times a couple hours and food is rubbish go somewhere else close this place down

Order pretty often from here and i must say desserts are always spot on. If there is any issue’s they are dealt with promptly. Order always arrives on time and hot desserts are always hot. Cant fault them. I highly recommend this place.

Brilliant quality desserts, had the fresh made churros which they are known for, was skeptics at first but honesty the best fresh churros we’ve had! Highly recommended!

Regular at this place, they have really good desserts and very friendly staff.

Ordered for desserts at 2100hrs. Delayed till 2230hrs. By that time it showed 'enjoy your food' in justeat app. Order never arrived. Called up the restaurant, said it is with the driver. Almost 2300hrs and time for me to go to sleep. If they cant deliver on time then at least have the courtesy to ask the customer if it is still a good time to deliver at 2300hrs.

Very good quality, reasonable delivery time, excellent presentation.

Had the lemon meringue, strawberry cheesecake and banoffi waffles. They were great: well presented, packaged and delivered quick.

Ordered the churros and milk cake, after looking for a place for so long that does them and what can I say but absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, giving advice on flavours and their top sellers. Upon eating the dessert, was the perfect balance of sweetness and flavour. Freshly made churros which were crisp and soft at the same time, will definitely be back here again! Thanks guys

Food was average. Definitely better dessert shops out there such as THE SWEET LOUNGE or SCOOPS. Give you about table spoon of ice cream with your dessert and the staff are moody too. Put your money to good use elsewhere x <3

Ordered online and paid - their driver delivered to my apartment and didnt even call or buzz my door nr yet gave the order to a stranger, I had no idea my order was delivered, I called the restaurant and they didnt even own up to their mistake for not contacting me, didnt even apologize and in the end dropped the call on me - in conclusion I paid for food I never received! For all I know the delivery driver kept it for himself.

I've not tried here before and after scrolling through local Desserts on uber eats I thought I would give this place a try, they had good reviews so thought it was at least worth a try Firstly the menu is so much more diverse than your average dessert place which made ordering a treat I chose the mini pancakes with Nutella and strawberries and a chocolate cookie dough Delivery eta was acceptable at around 45 minutes to and hour Delivery bloke was polite and courteous Then it came to my favourite part, eating the food Wow, what can I say, the presentation was in point and the smell was amazing Mini pancakes tasted ace, Nutella was evenly drizzled on, not excessive and not too little, just right. Strawberries were fresh as well Cookie dough was thick n soft, no complaints there Overall I will definitely be coming back here 5*

I've ordered from dessert project a number of times and have advocated it to so many friends and family as the best cookie dough in Derby. We've never had any issues but our order today, as you can see from the photos, we received almost raw cookie dough. Now I understand on a Friday night that you may be very busy so in a rush you can pull the cookie dough from the oven a little early. However, this isn't the reason for my rating. I rang dessert project to explain to them that I've just received raw cookie dough. You'd like to think a food business would have a process to deal with these types of incidents. The person I spoke to was rude and asked me "so what do you want". I asked for a replacement and I'd be happy to send this back with the driver as evidence. I was told it would be another 45 minute wait at which point I asked them if we could be put to the top of list as it wasn't our fault it was raw. I was again told, in a rude manner, we're really busy so can't do that. I reiterated the point it wasn't our fault the food wasn't cooked properly. Again I was told they won't expedite our order. At which point I asked for a refund instead which they agreed to. The called was then abruptly ended, to a point were I honestly thought they hung up accidentally so I rang back. The person I was speaking to said this wasn't an accident the refund would be issued. I'm so disappointed as I've been a customer with dessert project since the started up last year. Unfortunately, they lost a number of customers now. Absolutely shocking.

In response the the reply below, absolutely sure I got the right place, I can show you the transaction on my bank statement! Worst dessert I have ever ordered! The mini pancakes are not even worth 65p never mind £6.50 (see photo attached), the cornflake tart was cold, and covered in a greasy type liquid 🤮, the pastry was non existant. And when collected it was taken out of the freezer and heated in the microwave! Never again.

Not happy how my order as come,waffle only half filled with filling & how the hell am I ment to drink my milkshake without a straw and I order 10 o’clock and delivery 12:00 o’clock

Order mini pancakes a waffle and cookie dough. Cookie dough came over cooked, waffle was cold, ice cream melted, pancakes tasted sour and couldn’t finish them. For what I paid for the pancakes it was pathetic. Barely any sauce. Really unimpressed

Just had my order delivered from The Dessert Project. It was on time. I ordered 1 lemon meringue pie which looks bloody lovely I also ordered 2 100s and 1000s cakes which they put custard on I didnt want custard. I phoned them the gentleman I spoke to was extremely polite and apologetic and said he would get 2 more sent out to me... I was not expecting that. It's the 1st time I've ordered from them but will definitely order again.x. Thank you very much guys.x.

The customer service is trash. Instead of handling a situation respectfully their staff rather argue with you. As if you were begging them for the food. Only order from here if you want to be disrespected, if not I advice you to take your money else where.

Wanted to try somewhere new so ordered from here. Omg! Cookie dough was amazing. And the donuts with strawberry and Nutella where amazing. Great portion sizes and quick delivery. Perfect :)

2 Milkshakes and a Sundae! That's all I asked for. Instead they gave me an extra waffle for FREE🥞!!!! I had milkshakes with sprinkles on top🧁🍨🍧. It taste unbelievably good and I thought what in the world of Oz is this🤤! The whole thing was a magical experience🥳🥳. These are decent people try to earn decent money but most importantly they are professionals at what they do💯😎. Looking forward to having more and more and more and more of them waffles 🧇🧇. This ain't your regular dessert shop mate! There's no room for mediocrity here🙌🏻🤯🤯🤯.

This is the best dessert place in Derby. Ordered from here late at night using uber eats, delivered on time with great communication from the driver. The food was all really really good and great portions. Will definitely be ordering from here again and will be recommending it to everyone.

Ordered churros and they came so hard and rubbery, ordered 2 milkshakes too, both of them were very runny and not drinkable, even though on their website it says “thick and creamy”..

Hands down the best churros I’ve had with a wide range of toppings to choose from, will definitely recommend! Regularly travel from Birmingham for them

Nice food, prices are okay, although sometimes food can take a while to arrive. Drinks are often not in stock (always needed to be substituted) and not much choice. I would suggest leaving a voicemail if something is is wrong though rather than not delivering the order to a very regular customer leaving them wondering what is happening. Other than these issues the food is really nice and we look forward to our puddings 🙂

Terrible desserts poor quality wouldn’t order again

Absolute terrible desserts. Seems like all the stock comes from the cheapest cash n carry store. Cheesecake is a cross between a digestive biscuit topped with strawberry whipped cream which has no taste of strawberry other than its pink. All the cakes that I ordered were dry and tasted out of date. I can confidently say I would never eat from there again as I would rather buy a chocolate bar. The service is awful and they don’t take care of the orders which have been made.

First time trying the dessert project ordered a kinder bueno cookie dough and concrete cake both come hot and fast, staff was really friendly and welcoming. I will be a returning customer for sure, the desserts were really nice, could not of asked for any better!!!

I have ordered the cookie dough a few times from these guys now. It is honestly some of the best I've had in Derby. I would recommend it to all my friends. They are always on time, and the drivers are so polite. They've been an absolute pleasure to interact with.

I loved eating from here. Derby has about 50 dessert shops and this shop is the only one that brings unique desserts. They have churros that crunch as soon as you bite then melts inside your mouth. And oh my god don't get me started on the French toast. So spongy and the correct amount of sweet. 😋.

I've tried many dessert places in Derby however this has to be the best place, absolutely amazing desserts, second time i've ordered and its unique. Good customer service and would highly recommend The Dessert Project. Thanks
