lovely staff. Best Sunday dinner i’ve ever had!!!

Our first visit, very pleased and will return. No issue dealing with four adults, one child and two babies at short notice. Excellent service, food was brilliant, dealt with an order change without any issue. Lovely well kept building, brilliant outdoor area for sitting out and kids play area, good carpark and access for everyone.

Today we hired the restaurant for my sisters baby shower and I could not be happier with the service we received! From the moment I booked this venue the lovely Nicola was emailing me all the details and things the delph could provide to me, speedy responses to every possible question I had, we had quite a lot of people attending so we had to complete a pre order for our food which was easy and straight forward, we arrived early to decorate and the staff couldn’t do enough for us with rearranging the room and helping us make it perfect, then when we arrived back to the venue to begin our celebration the team gave us a good amount of time to settle into the restaurant which we had private for the occasion, they then began bringing out our food which was absolutely divine and left ample time in between courses for baby shower games and chit chat, they honestly could not do enough for us and this was all on the day the venue was celebrating their 3rd birthday so had an awful lot going on themselves! They had a family fun day going on outside and it was a great atmosphere and the kids which attended really enjoyed all the activities the venue had going on. I could not recommend this place enough, we will be back! Exceeded all of our expectations and such a lovely team. Thank you so much x

Went for a league pool game nice and friendly with great food, one of the nicest clubs I've been to in a long time

4 of us had Sunday lunch here today 21st of July and 2 had the curry. The meal was absolutely amazing portion sizes huge and unbelievable value for money. The staff were fabulous and the owner well just couldn't do enough. Will definitely be back soon but it's a bit of a drive from Sheffield!! Thankyou all xxx

Booked here for an 80th. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was lovely so friendly food was top drawer can't compliment or thank them enough you are all amazing thank you.

Pleasant surprise . Went there for lunch with family & friends . It was quiet but soon the bar got busier atmosphere improved. It was 2pm on a weekday , sat in the restaurant area and it was not busy. But the serving staff were excellent and the food was nicely presented. One could clearly taste good ingredients were used . We opted for lunch menu, a la carte menu looked very nice and deserved a dinner visit.

Fab. Food excellent. Staff exceedingly helpful and friendly We will be calling again. Highly recommended.

Nice food, clean and tidy and friendly staff

Only given 4stars due to the extreme heat in the room i was playing darts in. Barstaff were asked repeatedly to turn aircon on, so either they didn't turn it on or it don't work very well. Drinks are reasonably priced. Toilets are clean and tidy if a little small with 1 out of 2 cisterns working. 4 dartboards up with adequate lighting.child friendly, play area for the kids. There is plentyy of outside seating.

5 stars! Lovely, friendly place. Plenty of TVs in the bar for sports. Great food and drinks selection.

Fantastic meal at The Delph last night. There was 6 in our party and EVERY meal was perfect. Lovely menu. Definitely go back. Staff were excellent.

We have found a little Gem today at the Delph! Such a welcoming atmosphere as soon as we stepped in. Amazing food which was lovely and hot, super service, genuinely friendly staff, all in lovely surroundings. As a family, we all agreed that this honestly has been one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. We will most definitely be back very soon and will obviously be spreading the word to friends and family. A big thank you to the Delph. We had family birthday celebration with 30 plus people booked for 3 course meal. All food served on time, everyone’s order was correct and food arrived hot. The food was excellent and service faultless, the owner James was on hand and was very fastidious to everyone’s needs. I would highly recommend

The massive refurbishment has made a significant difference. It is clean and modern. A great place to eat or drink.

I would like to thank you all at The Delph for making our party have a great experience at your venue. The service we received was fantastic, when the food came out all 14 meals were piping hot and very well presented and tasted just as good as they looked.

Recently arranged a surprise party for my girlfriend's birthday at The Delph, and they were fantastic in helping arrange everything.They could accommodate for different budgets. Perfect sized function room that was clean and staff were very helpful! Food was great and everyone had a great night

Amazing throughout. We hired this as our wedding after party as we eloped. From start to finish they have been amazing. The guest loved the food and the design of the venue. So much choice to drink for different guests also. Amazing memories that will last a life time. Thank you.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here last weekend. Food was simply divine, my Husband said it was the best steak he has ever had, cooked to perfection. I had fish and chips and it was beautiful. Service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to return. Thank you!!

Loved every minute of the day and my family birthday party was excellent, staff are friendly and go out of their way to help, parking space and close to the door, wheelchair friendly too. Highly recommended to all.

8 of us went for a last minute meal on a Saturday night. Nothing was too much trouble the service and food were outstanding 👌 can't wait to revisit. 100% better than than my local in Ruabon, for food drinks and service.

I recently held a birthday party at The Delph..both James and Nicola were extremely helpful in sorting out the menu and providing a really nice setting. The food was excellent as was the Service. Really nice place. Travelled from Liverpool for an 80th meal. Hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Coincidentally there was another 80th celebration going on so 2 tables of 12. Food was lovely. Came out at same time. Service and staff were lovely. Would recommend and worth going to find this place. Had a great evening.

We had my son, Scott Francis's, wake here after his funeral. The service we received was excellent. Food was very good and plenty of it. Plates were refilled immediately and tea, coffee was always fresh and hot. Plenty of staff on duty to cope with the large number of people that came. Would definately recommend.

Hosted a baby shower for my best friend for 21 people, absolutely seamless service, impeccable. Every plate was empty. Had a fantastic afternoon. All the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Roast beef dinner was amazing and the gravy even better. Thank you so much!

It was prom night for the 18 and 19 year olds who were fantastic..the evening was enjoyed by all who attended.

We organised a suprise 30th birthday party at the Delph but in fact surprised all our guests that we got married that day. We met with James a few months before the event and he was absolutely brilliant, we just knew as soon as we met him we wanted to work with him. He is the most down to earth, caring and considerate man I've ever met. We didn't want to tell a venue because we were concerned that they would increase prices if they knew it was a wedding. But that was not the case with James, in fact the opposite. He was so excited to help out with the big suprise when we told him. He organised for beautiful centrepieces to be made, chairs, plates, napkins etc etc and he made the room look absolutely beautiful, better than I could have ever imagined. Not only that he was willing to work with us within our budget. The night could not have gone better. James bless him was running around before we arrived to make sure everyone was inside. Everyone told us afterwards how stressed he looked to make sure everything run smoothly. James agreed to announce us coming into the room "with a little twist to todays proceedings, I give to you Mr and Mrs Rush". This will forever stay in my memory and is probably my fondest moment of the whole evening. Watching everyone's reaction back on video afterwards is amazing and that is all thanks to James. Throughout the evening the food was amazing, the service was great, staff are so attentive and fast, nobody had to wait for anything and everyone has said afterwards how much of an amazing venue it is. People travelled from all over the UK from Scotland, Derby, Manchester and they all said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I could write so much more but I'll leave it there. From the bottom of my heart James, Thank you

Attended a surprise wedding reception. The venue was beautiful, staff were friendly and the food was lovely. The play area outside for the children was a great feature. My boys loved it.

Went to a 70th birthday meal very unorganised food is very hit and miss what type of manager booked a hen night in the same room as a 70th birthday meal meals are very basic with no form of garnish in sight

Huge thank you for a fantastic service on Saturday for hosting Joshs suprise 30th. Extremely helpful, reliable staff, nothing was too much bother, special shout-out to a young lady (not sure of her name, she had dark hair) she helped holding my baby while we set up, I think he was smitten with her! Fab from her going above and beyond in her service that day! Manager James was more than accommodating with food requirements, and set up as I requested a buffet self serve rather than individual plates for guests - this worked perfect for us. The staff also worked well with our entertainment bookings (funcasinohire and local performer Luke Gallagher) Really appreciated everything you did for us and will recommend your venue and look to use you for any future events ❤️

The starter was nice and welll presented. The mains took over 40 minutes to come out, despite it being quite. When I enquired about the food it come out within minutes. The food looked rushed and was missing bits from the burger. Which also looked miss matched. The quality was also poor. A tiny amount of meat on the steak baguette. The burger was beefy but not flavourful. I won't be in a rush to try again.

We booked to host my mum's 70th birthday party at the Delph. The service, the food, the atmosphere all deserve 5⭐ Brilliant. Would highly recommend for a function

Firstly I organised very last minute might I add a birthday party for my grandad in May as he started getting poorly and I wanted those around him to be able to have a drink and a celebration with him when it was still possible, although James had a big presentation going on in the function room he cleared out the restaurant for us to be able to have our small party. Sadly, my grandad then passed away so of course I asked James if we could have the wake in the function room and I was so relieved he confirmed he could provide the room and buffet, but James and the staff at the Delph done a lot more than that. One member was stood outside waiting for the cars to arrive, we had two large projectors with photos of my grandad, James lay the room out beautifully and helped us layout the flowers, and also let us log on to our Spotify so that we could play my Grandads playlist he had made for his birthday. There was a lot more too but I’m not sure if I have enough space to begin on how wonderful, patient and supportive James and the staff in the Delph were. I feel very grateful and will forever remember how they went above and beyond for our family, on more than one occasion. Thank you.

Just popped in for a drink. The last time came here it was old and very worn. However its had a lit of money spent on it and it's a different place now. Well worth a visit. Play area for the kid's seating outside. Don't expect a river's edge. They do Sunday lunch as well.

Only went for a couple of pints so i didn't have a meal but what i can say is the food looked great and staff very friendly.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, clean and have an outdoor area for children that like to be noisy pirates.

Had a 30th birthday party here, well what a fantastic venue, the catering was great and the staff were lovely, there is an Outdoor area for the kids (you have to supervise your own little ones) separate Outdoor area for the Bethania Suite.

My daughter and I booked the Delph for my husband's surprise 60th birthday party in April. James and Nicola were exceptional hosts and very professional. My daughter and I had a couple of meetings with them both prior to the party to discuss and finalise the arrangements, they were absolutely fantastic, the night went off perfectly, the food was amazing with lots of really complimentary comments about it, the bar and reception staff were amazing, I would like to extend a massive thank you to James & Nichola, the reception and bar staff, the chef's and their team and to everyone else who were involved in making an old man's special birthday party so memorable thank you all! Booked the Delph for our silver wedding celebrations. They bebt over backwards to help out. Nicola and the team were superb and couldn't do more to make our night go better than we could have wanted. Thank you so much.

Went to a wedding here, massive change to the old Air Products club. The venue is excellent, the buffet was very well presented and nice and tasty. Highly recommended for any of your functions should you need a classy venue. 10 out of 10

My mums diet wasn't taken into consideration and had to pay for full meal when only had starter and dessert. Starter ok, desserts not good. Charged extra for coffee although on menu. Very disorganized service. Started visit feeling very optamistic, what can I say.

We recently had a family Sunday dinner at the Delph. When booking, we notified them that one of our party was coeliac. On arriving at The Delph, they had prepared all meals to be gluten free, if requested. I haven't been to a restaurant where they do gluten free Yorkshire puddings and it was massively appreciated! Will definitely be going back

Its a lovely local where you are guaranteed good food and atmosphere. The Delph is clean and well looked after, with great staff. I hope they can continue to maintain this high standard.

Anyone looking for somewhere nice to eat then I highly recommend the Delph. The food was amazing, all good quality and not any of your cheap stuff either. The service was excellent and our children really enjoyed it as well. For those of you who knew the old Air Products club, I recommend you go and see the transformation, it is a stunning place. Will definitely be a return customer.

Had a really lovely lunch in the bar area. I had steak ciabata... husband fish and chips. Our 2 granddaughters had a child's meal plus ice-cream. It was all very fresh and service excellent.... I think the kids eat free a excellent idea..

Visited The Delph today for Sunday lunch. Absolutely gorgeous food 👌 Great price and our kids ate for free! Excellent service and lovely, clean restaurant. Looking forward to visiting again, especially in the summer when we can sit in the lovely outdoor area too.

Just been back to this little gem of a place. Sunday lunch was gorgeous while the hubby watched the game. The staff are friendly and attentive. Meat is locally sourced and absolutely gorgeous. The Delph also helped me with my dad's 70th birthday in December and nothing was too much

Had Sunday lunch there with friends. Service was great from the moment we arrived until when we left. Sat in the bar area so we could watch sport while we ate. The roast pork dinner was delicious and a decently sized portion too. The starter and dessert were very tasty too. The cost for 3 courses was excellent value for money. Would certainly recommend and will definitely be going back soon.
