I am regular here but normally for drinks (coffee and Macieira). This is a popular Portugese cafe/restaurant with a great welcome and pleasant friendly atmosphere by the proprietor Luis and his family. As with all Portugese pastries they are to die for. There is also a full menu available.

Lovely coffee served here and the owners are very friendly. Some of the pastry you won't see in other places and taste wonderful.

Friendly place to go and people watch in the window. The food smells lovely when you walk in and has the best coffee in town (in my eyes).

Wrexwillow32 you need to get better information because the 0 does not always mean the lack of hygiene but it could be the lack of paper work, you should check the place out then do your comments and for your information they have a 4 on the rate mate

This café bakery is the only food making premises in Wrexham to receive a ZERO food hygiene rating. I feel it is important for people to be aware of this.

Seen the reviews and I do like a good cup of coffee so decided to pop in. Reviews were right, I drink alot of coffee and you can tell a good cup straight away. Unfortunately I am trying to be good at the moment so didn't have one of the lovely looking cakes in the window.

I am a German living in Wrexham and miss German cakes. So whenever I see anything baked, sweet and interesting looking I try it. Portuguese custard tarts in this cafe are not German at all, but very, very tasty. I can´t comment on the coffee as I dont drink it.

Stopped for coffee and Portuguese pastries a few times and found the cafe staff extremely friendly and helpful. We sat outside and enjoyed the day, never feeling rushed. Felt like we were back in Lisbon ;)

I have been fortunate to visit Lisbon on several occasions and always look forward to visiting Belem for the custard tarts. These are just as good. Fab coffee and lovely welcoming and friendly owners.

I can honestly say that I am most probably addicted to coffee, when when coffee is concerned in Wrexham this is the place to go. They use Delta (best seller in Portugal) and it's heaven in the cup! Cakes and toasties very nice too. Recommended

I thoroughly enjoy frequenting this wonderful place several times a week and try especially hard to stick to just drinking their coffee. A tremendously difficult task when you see the selection and quality of his freshly baked pastries and fine, fine fresh bread. There is nothing like this place in Wrexham or Chester; if you're in wrexham then you simply must visit, and if not, then make a trip especially to go here. Very, very good indeed!

Moved back to Whitchurch recently thought we would give it a try, Well driving up the drive we wasn't sure it was open no lights on the long driveway The table we sat at needed wiping the waitress didn't even notice it I had the burger which I must admit it was really really nice and at 13 quid was very reasonable My wife had the salmon which was a massive let down nearly 17 quid a small piece of salmon with potatoes and veg (which was about 5 pieces of broccoli and nothing else ) As for the drinks very expensive

Had to delete my previous post just to say that I’ve just met Kev the owner, He wasn’t arrogant or up his own arse like some owners and, after a short chat, he even paid for my Texan barbecue Pringles! Thoroughly nice bloke who, like the rest of his staff, made me feel so welcome so I do think that I will now make this place my new drinking hole! Five stars (and they thoroughly deserve it! ) I’d give them six or seven if I could! Lee.
