Came here for lunch with some girlfriends, this cafe is lovely, the coffee is great and nice selection of light bites/sandwiches and homemade cakes available. We all had the Yorkshire rarebit (similar to the Welsh version but with hendos) and cakes to finish, the carrot cake was delicious. Highly recommend for lunch/a quick bite to eat.

Been a few times now. The coffee is excellent and the food was very good. Had my favourite Eggs Benedict one time and a Sausage Buttie another time - both spot on. Repeat visits imminent.

We ended up at The Delightful Touch on a Monday afternoon...we actually had walked to a different restaurant and it was closed as nearly all other restaurants that we passed were. When we stepped in to The Delightful Touch, we were greeted by a wonderfully efficient server and the owner/chef, and seated in a perfect spot for the four of us and the baby stroller with our new grand baby...I do not recall the orders of the three other adults, but I ordered the soup of the day-sweet potato with sweet pepper. It was FANTASTIC! The sweet potato flavor was muted, very much like a butternut squash flavor, slightly sweet, and the red pepper flavor made the soup zing on the palate and was the perfect compliment! I also ordered a biskoff waffle, with maple syrup and back bacon. Again, a fantastic, perfectly prepared dish, with a magnificent cup of coffee. I was impressed with the food that I returned the next morning for another waffle and earl gray tea with orange zest. Again, fantastic in all respects. The service for both visits was excellent. The environs were comfortable and welcoming. And the conversation with the owner was delightful.

Ordered and sandwich to takeaway. It was very quiet and no other customers. Even though I said we were in a rush, she just stood around and didn't bother to tell the kitchen. We had to leave without our order. We can back later and she was very rude and arrogant. She blatantly lied to our faces and claimed to have told the kitchen we were in a rush when she did not. She said she threw it in the bin, because of her incompetence when we returned. That could be construed as theft. I always used to wonder why Costa etc are so popular. When independent cafrs act rude abd arrogant like this it makes sense why people go with something they know. I could have understood if they kitchen was busy, but the chef was just stood around. 10+ mins to make a sandwich. Completely incompetent. And the waitress is extremely rude and arrogant to boot. We went to Costa and I hate to admit it but they were far more efficient and polite. Definitely avoid this place.

My wife and I frequently visit Delightful Touch as they serve without a doubt one of the nicest cups of tea I’ve ever had!! My wife loves the cakes they serve here as well and the great food and drink combined with the friendly, welcoming staff make Delightful Touch and must stop off for our regular shopping trips into Hillsborough. This place is a real gem!!👍🏻

I am going to be honest in this review. There are many cafes, etc in this area, and one thing that I find unacceptable is the high prices that people are paying, essentially for a snack. My friend and I visited one afternoon recently, and found that there were only three savoury items remaining, and one portion of soup. So,we chose a couple of items from the remaining four. Both were unacceptably poor. Sorry, but they were. The soup was watery, with little flavour, and the remaining sandwich was not fresh, salad part wilting. It is unfortunate that these remaining items were still available for purchase. Between us, we paid £17 for this, including tea and one portion of cake. I would have given two stars, however, the service was excellent, and the cafe owner very friendly.

In the middle of the pandemic this little cafe just provides what its name suggests, a delightful touch in these bitter times to take away. The sticky pecan cake is a divine, the ginger-pear cake gives you the zing and the classic chocolate tarte, well, it gives no more than expected but I think my expectations towards any cake is really high. Thank you for the great service, too.

Although the drinks are fantastic, the cakes and quiches are all home made and just amazing. Probably the best I’ve eaten. Will be a returning customer.

I found this little coffee shop just of Eccesall road. The coffee is AMAZING. I had a flat white and I also ended up buying some cake, which was home made and was to die for as well as being all local produce! Highly recommended.

Tigs was a last minute discovery when I was in Sheffield Centre waiting for a train. Just behind the Cathedral, Tigs offered a friendly welcome, excellent coffee and perfect bagels. The cakes looked good too and there were plentiful vegan options. The helpings were good value, with generous portions and interesting toppings.

We came here the other day for our youngest’s birthday and she absolutely loved it. The staff were very friendly and clearly take a lot of pride in looking after the cats. All in all a fantastic place to visit for any cat lover and will defiantly be going back.

We visited this lovely cafe this morning while waiting for an appointment at the hospital, which is just across the road. The staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived. We ordered a Latte, a Mocha and Cinnamon Swirl and they were all delicious. We normally head for one of the large chains of coffee shops, so it made a nice change to be supporting a small business. We are not local to Sheffield but will definitely visit the cafe when we're there for future hospital appointments. We would highly recommend to anyone local to or visiting Sheffield.
