The Deep Pan Man in Staffordshire Moorlands

I've not used Deep Pan Man for a couple of years after a few poor meals. I put a review on reflecting this back then. I gave it another try tonight, SO HAPPY I DID! FOOD WAS DELICIOUS 👌👌 They have clearly improved everything massively. My mixed Kebab was one of the best Kebabs I've had in a long time. All the meat was cooked to perfection with a beautiful smokey charr to it. The Nan bread was soft and fresh. My wife had the fried chicken, which was delicious, fresh, juicy, and full of flavour. Great to see they are back on track serving quality food. I'll definitely be ordering again 👌👍👌

This is a great takeaway, hot, fast food, really tasty good value for money and 100% underrated. Really nice delivery people and really do there due diligence to make sure your food is hot and not spilled or chucked all over place, 10/10 would order again,

Ordered chicken chaat Naan a few times now and it is Amazing. Definitely recommend. Ordered 3 burgers and chips which was just as good. Definitely worth buying from.

Just ordered from here to delivered to CBeebies hotel in Alton towers. Omg!!! The food is incredible, it was half the price of anything in Alton towers and the quality is incredible. 100% recommend this restaurant.

Pizzas arrived cold but the wedges and burger were hot. It was tasty but I personally really don't like cold pizza. It did spoil it for me. I live locally to them but might be reluctant to order again.

We have pizzas from deep pan man quite often and they are always good, this week however the deep pan man special was inedible and we had to put it in the bin. Not sure if we will be using deep pan man again, such a shame.

Deep pan man special is my favourite. But the hygiene rating went down to zero, so I stopped going. What is the hygiene rating now?

I accidentally ordered this for collection (but I wanted delivery) so I rang up to change this and they were more than happy to deliver and were very quick! Lovely food.

The restaurant had said that the food had been delivered but it wasn't here and it was late. We ordered over an hour ago.

First time I've been in ages thought I would try it again my mistake, I paid for stuff crust 😅 it was stuffed with fresh air. Chips under cooked very poor 😢

great food with no issues , popadoms were just completely crushed when they arrived and chips were slightly cold.

Every time I order they are delayed. Don’t start cooking it until I turn up to collect. This has happened 3 times so far and I won’t be going back again

Ordered 2 mixed kebabs which arrived 15 minutes beyond the advised time period. One of the meals was missing one of the selected meats entirely and the selected salad. The food didn’t arrive particularly hot and was dry. The included naan breads were also cold, hard and inedible. Needless to say, most of the order went into the bin. Really disappointed in what was a ‘treat’ after a nice long family day. We’ve ordered from this outlet before and have been happy but sadly, this will be our last experience with them.

Had a weekend curry as a treat & this place never disappoints, fast delivery, food is always spot on & great value for money .

Normally a nice meal but the curry was very salty which I have experienced this on several occasions.

The place is often very busy and a lot of people get delivery, but I prefer the walk to the place. The food is very good and the price is very reasonable. Often they have meal deals and specials, which are usually very good.

The driver went to the wrong area which was about 15 mins away and then made out it was the roads!!! The food was cold

ordered at 5-45 for as quick as poss, Told between 7 and 7-20-arrived at approx 7.40. A bit cold, but to be fair very tasty

Used to be always happy with food but tonight forgot our pizza, kebab awful hardly any salad. Chips poor. When pizza came it was cold. No real apology. Its a shame.

The delivery arrived 10 minutes after the latest delivery time. The food was cold and needed to be heated up and the driver asked for more money even though I'd already paid because apparently the offer we ordered wasn't available that day and it was a problem with Just Eat.

Ordered a value pack 2, the burger arrived luke warm and the rest was stone cold

Normally like this place but the last 2 times we have ordered its not been great. Doner meat has changed and isn't very nice and the chicken has been so dry today. Will have to find a new takeaway- other than that, delivery drivers are always lovely.

I’ve been a loyal customer for quite sometime but unfortunately the last three orders have been wrong or missing items. Fair enough these things happen but three times in a row means something is going wrong somewhere. I will not be placing another order and will try somewhere else in the hope I get what I pay for.

We have just ordered our 4th takeaway from the deep pan man in the last couple of months and each one has been delicious. Food hot on arrival, cooked perfectly and brilliant delivery service.

The deep pan man has been around for 30 years, I've not visited for 20 years as moved away from the area but was very pleased with my pizza in my recent visit. Cash only but not an issue as a cash machine outside. Will go back again soon!

By far the best kebab we have ever had. Will definitely be ordering again. The food was great value for money, there was so much of it and all of the kebab meats were cooked perfectly.

The chips were cold and soggy, the garlic bread was so hard it was like eating concrete, my pizza (Amsterdamer) was “ok” but nothing to write home about, my wife’s pizza (meat feast) was over cooked. Very disappointed as I enjoyed the food last time we used them.

Felt like the food was the last order of the night, arrived quickly, ordered a lamb tikka and chicken tikka kebab, chicken was fine but the lamb tikka was incredibly overdone and black, just tasted of nothing and was difficult to chew. Chicken nuggets were fine although the garlic sauce again tasted bland and served no purpose other than to just make the chips underneath soggy. Overall disappointed as to spend £20 on food for it to come like that, I shan't be ordering again

Like usual. Had to wait 20 minutes on top of the 20 minutes it said it would be. Staff arguing among themselves like unprofessional kids. Food was good though.

Don't be put off by the bad reviews. A few years ago, The Deep Pan Man had a hygiene rating of zero. I'll leave you to imagine what the food and customer service was like. However, it now has a hygiene rating of 4 stars. The food is great quality at a great price and the staff are lovely - they always make conversation when they're not busy with delivery drivers. And that leads me onto this fabulous kebab shop's only downside. There is always cars pulling up outside and delivery drivers coming in and out. I suppose this happens with lots of restraunts, but this is exceptinally worse due to the fact it is located in the heart of Blythe Bridge. Shame really. Almost perfect.

I ordered chicken tikka balti and it was chicken balti and very salty I ordered 1 piece of chicken and chips I received 2 chicken wings and a drumstick which were very spicy

I spent 70.00 on pizza unfortunately the only thing I got free was a bottle of fizzy pop that no one likes

Delivery driver banged on the door far too loud for 10pm at night and then ran away like it was a kids game, the naan bread was soggy and undercooked, chicken was dry, rice was ok, other parts of the meal were either ok or cold dry soggy. Not a returning customer here

Disgusting cold burnt hollow chips and chicken chewy. Definitely won’t be ordering food from these again. Pretty dirty place aswell so I believe 🤮.

So much choice; efficient service and really enjoyed our food.

The pizza wasn’t very nice one had little to no sauce on it and was dry and the other had no flavour and the garlic bread was just dry cooked dough really disappointing treat for the kids 🙁

Food arrived stone cold, chips were dry and freezing plus one of the pizzas we ordered were wrong aswell.

The chips were like cardboard and cold, most of them were hollow! The pizza was bland hardly any sauce couldn't taste pepperoni and the garlic bread was also like cardboard

Always a good curry just how we like it This was 5 years ago and we still think the food is great, had curries tonight that tasted fantastic with loads of quality chicken

Can't really give anything lower than a 5 star for these guys. They work hard and everytime I go collect my food they're always polite and make sure food quality and everything is tip notch for the customer. Quick, efficient and the food is to die for. Keep it up! 👍

Food didn't turn up, obviously don't need my custom!

We ordered the half and half pizza tickets masala and lovers meat feast and the masala was lovely but the meat feast side was not right there was clearly something wrong unfortunately because the rest of the food was lovely just let down by the meat feast issue not happy at all to say the least because the food is normally Bob on 😔 gutted

Downgraded from 5 to 1 due to the random hygiene inspection. It was found that they had no sanitisation facilities, including within the staff toilets. Sadly the food was nice but will never use these again as a result.

Food was disgusting. Lamb was tough. Chicken wasn't cooked right. Full fat mayo instead of garlic mayo, overall for the price not acceptable.

I cannot fault the quality of the food, and delivery is usually punctual, but there is too much discrepancy in volume each time you order. For example a large doner kebab one week you would not be able to finish, the next week, for the same order you would require 2 portions to be satisfied.

Was called after ordering to ask if could deliver early (about 50min before delivery time requested) as had got the time wrong and already put the food on. Was delivered 20 minutes early in the end, but food was tepid at best...

The restaurant rang to say I'd ordered a meal deal that wasnt available on a Sunday. Genuine mistake but they honoured the deal which I thought was great as they didn't need too. Great food used regularly when we have a takeaway. Never disappointed

With all due respect, I think the people that rated this a 6/6 must’ve been staff. Garlic bread tasted like cardboard, meal was dry, nuggets were soggy. Only thing I can compliment about this food is the chips. Also missed a few things off the order, tried to call the shop and they hung up on me!
