Nice place, really friendly staff and some great choices of beverages and home made pork scratching are heavenly. Recently went there supporting my singer friend Dana Venyé who was doing a live set there. Highly recommend.

Excellent real ale house. Beautiful ale and gins. This place has an amazing selection of gins. It takes CAMRA cards and is quirky and individual in terms of it's interior design. Nice big old chairs and sofas to relax in very nice for couples and small groups that want a stylish place to drink amazing beer in. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. And the toilets are absolutely wonderful with hand creams and products the attention to detail is amazing.

First visit tonight and can't recommend it highly enough. A very warm welcome on arrival which was made even better by the presence of a few of their four legged regulars 🐶❤ Amazing choice of Gin and a lovely friendly atmosphere. This probably sounds odd but the Ladies toilet is the best one I have ever visited. So much thought has gone into the decor and all the little personal touches are amazing. Lovely place well worth a visit. Thank you.

Lovely micropub, friendly staff and brilliant selection of drinks especially if your a gin drinker .. which I'm not but the bar lady found me a lovely banana and caramel rum which is now my favourite rum ! Definitely recommend this place for a visit.

First visit to this quirky micro-pub. Very well kept pint, served by enthusiastic staff! Last available table was in the back room, with all the clocks! All set at different times so there is a flow of chimes throughout each hour. Our group commented positively on this! 😊 Clientele friendly as usually found in drinking establishments such as these. Will definitely take the trip to get there again.

Lovely atmosphere, the proprietors were very welcoming, especially as there were a lots of very sweaty ladies arriving en Mass after our run around the town.. 142 Gins! Real ales.. Delicious coffee.. As well as a good selection of bar snacks.. Look forward to going again x

Love this place. It's really quaint with the compact size of the place and the decor is great. Staff are fantastic and really helpful at helping you to choose new drinks to try. Amazing detection of gin and good options on cider and ale. An absolute gem of a place that is a massive credit to Kirkby.

Wonderful micropub with a great well kept selection of cask ales, ciders and I think you'd be hard pushed to find a better choice of gins anywhere! Not just dog friendly, dog loving! Lovely friendly place with great staff and friendly locals. A must visit if you're in the area.

Excellent, Smart bar area and lounge. Real ale and cider, and 240 gins. Live music on occasion. No draught lager or Guinness, but that's not why you'd come here.
