The Eat all you can on Weds nights is outstanding, I had 11 starters, 2 x intermediate courses and a main all for £23.99. Fantastic value, and every dish is fresh cooked and delicious 👍👍

Waited one and a half hours for main course in the restaurant ..apparently they were busy doing takeaways.

I love the food!!! And also if you’re looking for someone funny and cool, Aimee is the person you’ll be looking for! So keep an eye out! (I would recommend this restaurant!)

First time visiting , we had the summer feast for two. The food was stunning , came very hot and tasted amazing. Must say a big plus for Amy the waitress, she never stopped, polite, friendly, hard working and nothing was too much trouble . Greeted with a friendly smile . We definitely be going back and will take family when they come to visit

Fantastic meal went for the Summer Banquet, four starters and then Duck pancakes and then three main meals one which was Cantonese Beef with Special Fried Rice. The service was faultless and if you are finished by 19:30 you get 30% of your meal price. They now have a Special Offer of all you can eat for £26:99 and it's advisable to book because it gets very busy. Very well priced and the service was faultless very well recommended ❤❤❤❤

Non locals not welcome. All you can eat is a waste of £23.90. Micro portions 4 ribs which looked like the size of toes. Salt n pepper prawns ...4 prawns on a dish. DRY FOOD THE DUCK LOOKED MUMMIFIED and the creepy male waiter told us we had to wait a hour for 2 extra dishes we ordered after ordering our main meal of coarse this was our fault. Poor all round and reading previous reviews the creepy male waiter is not a asset to this establishment. I review food this by far the worst 2 hours I've ever been unfortunate to spend in a restaurant I WAS PAYING FOR !

Absolutely fabulous. We got a takeaway from here while on holiday at St Minver and weren’t disappointed. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.

Had takeaway. My husband said his beef curry with egg fried rice was delicious. I had fried chicken and mushrooms which was best ever. Also chips were great.thankyou for great service

I went to the Dancing Taipan to pick up a takeaway. Food is always great... Try the Malaysia chicken. Not shown on the menu, its normally served in the restaurant but if you ask, they will make it for you to takeaway. We have eaten in the restaurant also, but not for a while. Quick service, pleasant staff, a little pricier than some, but worth it for the quality food. Would recommend!

Great food love the all you cat eat nights just a very long wait for food with great staff constentley going around to customers appoligising for the long wait i think they should eather be just a takeaway or just a resturant as its plain to see they can not manage both

My first visit here, just for a takeaway. Lovely people, good value and the food was excellent. But, not so good for vegetarians. Yes there were vegetarian options, but nothing to chew on. Most Chinese restaurants and takeaways offer a bean curd vegetarian option and I was surprised that this place didn't.

Stunning food highly recommended

After travelling up and down the country, as food reviewers, we found this little place, we wanted to try everything on the menu, we ordered with the young female waitress, excellent service from her although the male waiter was quite rude. We went on the Sunday as it was (ALL YOU CAN EAT) we tried to order mains to be too be told sorry it’s too much food he said that’s five dishes and there was 4 of us! We enjoyed it up until that moment. Sorry dancing taipan but that male waiter just ruins the business. All you can eat but get questioned on why we want 5 dishes. It’s not even like we left food, as we ate it all. Just ruined the whole experience, my partner was made to feel embarrassed.he then brought out 3 dishes and didn’t even bring out my prawn dish that I asked for 3 times avoid this place as it clearly isn’t an all you can eat. More like we will serve you what we think is an appropriate amount !!

Food was nice, but, not the best Chinese we have had Waitress was friendly & helpful Restaurant was empty with only us in their which surprised us for a Saturday evening.

Service was excellent, though soft drink provision could be improved with a drinks fridge and individual cans/bottles. Flat, room temperature coke from a previously opened 2L bottle (around the start of dinner service) was but the best start. Cold bottle of Tsingtao was a great improvement, though.

Went here with my wife for a nice meal and heard good things about the 'All You Can Eat', however, the vegetarian options are extremely limited and we were left feeling ripped off after we basically paid £21 for 3 lettuce leaves and a tiny plate of vegetables too fill them with. The decor is very dated and dirty in places too. Wasn't overly impressed. The waitress staff were absolutely lovely tho. Quite possibly the restaurants only redeeming quality.

I had all you can eat, great food. Staff friendly it’s been here years. Never knew about it as we used I visit family for over 30 years. Next time we are down will invite friends from Bude who we visited today.

A lovely place to go for a group meal or just as a couple. The waitressinh staff are so lovely and friendly. They are a credit to The Dancing Taipan restaurant 😊. The food is hot and delicious. The only negative they do not serve prawn crackers as part of your meal x

Awful absolutely dreadful food. Such a shame have used this place for many years during our holidays. But at this moment I would not eat from there again.

Disappointing meal. Dry, tasteless chow mein, dry spare ribs, stale prawn crackers. Do not recommend.

The chicken fried rice was frozen chicken and tasted like rubber, with plain rice no flavour in the dish one bit. The pork fried rice was the same with over cooked pork and no flavour and the chilli chicken dish was over cooked.

Ordered food, timing was really good but they messed up the whole order. Phoned them to tell them and they told us we didn’t order the things that were missing (we defiantly did ask for them). They refused to re cook. We’ve had to go from st eval to wadebridge twice because they refused to deliver the correct order or put it right. Won’t go again

Eight years ago my friend and I came here for dinner and was enjoying our meal I had to repeatedly stand between courses and pull out some lunges whilst my friend had a case of mild facial paralysis. Later after some wine we were less embarrassed about the strange movements but there were some strange looks being thrown at us. Highly recommend 👌

Very disappointing and so over priced I feel really cheated at the amount of food and the overall cleanliness. Nearly £70 for 1 portion Bbq ribs 2 egg fried rice 1 chilli chicken and 1 duck in soy sauce with an overpriced £23 bottle of wine. The waitress although pleasant wore the filthiest uniform I've ever witnessed in serving staff...

Takeaway and restaurant both excellent

Absolutely shocking, ordered a takeaway at 6pm for 8pm and come 8.30pm we were none the wiser at what time our food would be ready. One woman was waiting over an hour for rice and chips!! Would comment on the food if I got a chance to eat it before we had to leave because it took so long.. not happy at all.

Chinese takeaway and restaurant by the cinema in Wadebridge. Quality is generally good, both takeaway and eat in. Prices are reasonable. Service quick in the takeaway but recommend phoning in your order at weekends.

I have the choice of 3 Chinese takeaways as I live in Padstow. 1 is in St. Merryn and 2 in Wadebridge. Dancing Taipan is definitely the best. Beautiful food.

I've never had such bland looking or tasting Chinese food. It looked highly unappetising, the chicken boiled perhaps? The order was also wrong on getting home. Truly awful, most ended up in the bin Not even a decent cracker!

Overwhelmingly bad. Stale, tasteless food, poor ingredients, soul-crushing decor and unable to get a three-item order right for a takeaway. Beef with the flavour and consistency of slow-cooked toenails. Room temperature prawns from last week. You know what they say about wanting another Chinese an hour after the last one? Not here....

Great staff and accommodate to alot of different customers

Absolutely brilliant for the money you pay. The portions may be a bit small but you can have as many as you like, starter, intermediate and mains, choose from the menu starters / intermediates before choosing mains you can't go wrong. Staff are always happy to help you with your choice.
