Myself and my family visit the Dancing Betty every weekend it is a very family friendly pub the of the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The food is lovely and they have a wide variety of of alcohol the only problem I find is the hot drinks are often not hot enough

This was our first time at the restaurant which was brilliant from start to finish! Booking the table and meal was straightforward even for us ‘oldies’ the staff were so helpful and attentive and the food was delicious! We would highly recommend going there and will be visiting again very soon. Thank you everyone

First time coming here and absolutely was not disappointed amazing carvery and staff . Jamie was wonderful …. Will be back next week

Mrs B, her mum and I booked online in advance at this dog friendly Martin franchise at Dalton Park. Easy parking, easy access, straightforward seating process and pay in advance to get a ticket to redeem exactly the same as a Toby Carvery, but less busy and just as tasty. Four meats available, and my beef was beautiful. Better Yorkshires than Toby, good roasties and mash, all the usual veg and condiments available, but highlights for me were beautiful leeks and red onions in a creamy sauce, and a creamy potato gratin with I think red peppers, which I could have devoured a whole plateful of itself. Similar price point to a Toby, but more relaxed atmosphere, and a return visit is definitely on the cards. A walk round Dalton Park for retail therapy then a Sunday roast here would probably be good fun. Well done to all, both front of house and behind the scenes; some front of house members really pushed the boat out to make it a memorable meal.

Called here Sunday late morning got a table at back as young staff lad had taken us too but did ask for a booth seat said none available,bit strange as there was 4 empty i seen and not one reserved even one of them staff sat around it .service good and food delicious as usual,carvery all hot but why its £2.50 more on a Sunday is baffling?? There was a slight issue with some older customers been arrogant and impatient whilst jumping queing for meats etc,maybe staff to man that as can be like a cattle show .toilets ok but mens room floor all sticky.plenty of staff maybe some new faces trying to settle in ,getting busy now so we finished up and went shopping.will be back

Eat at this establishment every week and recommended it to my family members for Xmas lunch. Big mistake. Chairs/table filthy ,food raw undercooked, Yorkshire Puddings soggy and tough etc. Made waitress aware who apologised but not her fault. I’ll not say much more as I like to support my local businesses but not acceptable.

We went out for lunch the staff was very welcoming especially one the assistant manager his name jack show us to table explain how to order very helpful and well knownage about everything his services skill were brilliant credit to GM who is very nice we order 4 burgers abd steak sandwich and all was very tasty we also had deserts which was well presentation and lovely will highly recommend people to come here

Had the carvery - the meat was nearly finished so we didn't get much. Not a great selection of vegetables . Service at the bar was very slow, and the staff didn't seem interested in the customers.

The staff in here are really nice, I wish I could say the same for the food. I had a carvery, the roasties were very undercooked and dripping in oil and the veg was dry. My husband had a burger which was raw in the middle and my son had fish and chips, again very oily. No latte available and was offered an instant coffee. I got a refund, as we did for my husbands meal after I complained. The price of a pint was also refunded which was a nice gesture. Sadly we won’t return here.

The restaurant is situated right next to the Dalton Park Shopping centre and has a nice family atmosphere, but not too loud. We both had tomato soup starter from the lighter bites menu, and it was delicious. With soft drinks, and small cod and chips each, the bill was a reasonable price at just under £30. Ordering and payment was easy using the QR code on the menu, and the food was served piping hot and very quickly by a very pleasant staff member.

very efficient welcoming staff, good food at great prices. Busy every night with tables cleared within seconds of customers leaving. We spent three nights there and very happy to return in the future

Arrived without booking on a really busy night. We should have done our homework as we didn’t realise there was a Halloween Party planned. Anyway, the team (Jamie) were still accommodating and found us a pet friendly table within minutes. Our food arrived quickly after ordering and although it was pub grub it was still well presented and tasty. Jamie also noticed we were looking through the dessert menu and offered to take our order without having to go and queue at the bar. Extremely attentive member of the team who looked after us and our pet dog. We will be visiting again soon., Thanks 😊

Visited this restaurant around 5pm,ordered 3 regular carvery & drinks using a 30% off mains voucher.Went to the carvery deck to find that there was only turkey,no beef or gammon.When I asked if there was any more meat I was told no and the carvery would be finished shortly.My husband doesn’t like turkey so he went to the till to complain.He had to change his meal.The vegetables on the carvery weren’t very full and quite dried up,very disappointing.If you can’t supply what is advertised you should inform people before ordering.It’s a good job there was a discount as I would hate to have paid full price.I think I will stick to Toby Carvery in future.

I have been here many times as live locally and its always nice. Today Sundzy we went. We opted for a meal from the menu rather than the cavery. My husband said his fish and chips were lovely. As a veggie I opted for cauliflower and red pepper curry. Unfortunately I couldn't eat the poppadoms as so chewy. I like a spicy curry but this was definitely not a one chilli curry, my eyes were running. The lively young lady asked how our food was and when I said very disappointing, she just said I'm sorry about that and left it that. I really hope it was just a one off.

We live locally and popped in on Sunday because we knew they had a carvery. We’ve been a few times for drinks and staff are always really lovely but we’ve never eaten here. For a carvery on a Sunday in a chain pub we were very impressed. The meat was absolutely beautiful, there was so much veg choice and it was all fantastic. Once again, staff were lovely.

A beautiful establishment perfectly placed for lunch after a hard mornings shopping at Dalton Park. Staff are pleasant and helpful and put my anxiety around eating out at ease straight away. Not only are you asked when ordering if there are any food intolerances or allergies but after stating my intolerance a lovely gentleman came and wiped the table where I was sitting and gave me a fresh set of cutlery and napkin. I have never felt safer with my food. The meal came and it was absolutely delicious I had a steak and it just melted in my mouth. Thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

Today's visit was for a Sunday morning breakfast... a bit of a treat for the family before shopping in dalton Park! And what a treat it was! We didn't pre-book, but this wasn't an issue. Breakfast was fantastic and blue light discount was also available....

The carvery was awful. The cow died more than once, the potatoes were cooked and left for a long time, the carrots were watery that's a no from us, the peas were hard and chewy. Tasteless and not worth the money. Staff were nice.
