The Daily Grind in St. Helens

Ordered a hot turkey, stuffing and gravy on a baguette, was absolutely delicious. Hit the spot. Definitely going again!

Have had lots of sandwich platters, afternoon teas and lunches from here, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious. Really tasty sandwiches, great flavour. Definitely the best sandwiches in St Helens. Will definitely order from here again. The coffee is good too! Xx

Had one of their sandwich platters last week for my husbands birthday. Sandwiches were excellent, could not be faulted. Service was great and the staff were lovely.

Went here to pick up some lunch for me and a friend. Lovely welcome and very accommodating. Prices are reasonable and food tasted great. We both had bacon and egg on toast as a late lunch and both enjoyed it. Seemed to have lots of choice on menu. Would definately go again.

In need of a late breakfast I had a bacon and egg barm...and it was spot on as usual. Perfect start to a Monday afternoon.

I always forget about this cafe tucked away by the town hall square...so when I was passing felt I had to pop in. I had a steak and onion baguette from here and it was delicious....so much steak on it and I'm not sure if it was cooked in butter or lard but it tasted yummy like it was.Really good and will be popping back in future now.

Beef brisket Baguette is delicious (when available). Soup and specials worth trying. Prices above average but you get what you pay for. You can phone in your order a couple of hours before collection to avoid a queue. Highly recommended for carry out snacks.

Great coffee and freshly made homemade soups. Steak baguette with onions is a must as is the pulled pork every Thursday
