Really enjoyed the railway lamb

Probably the nicest Indian takeaway we've had for a very long time. Highly recommend the Railway, Bengali and Lahori all full of flavor, meat and veg. Delivered quick and hot. Onion Bhajis good size and crispy.

Just ordered our first curry from The Curry Guys. Wow, absolutely fantastic, best Curry have had in many years. Will now be our place to order from. All other outlets on Ashley Road & in Poole will have to up their game to compete with The Curry Guys. Highly recommended, well done & thank you

Just ordered from The Curry Guys for the first time and definitely won't be the last! This is the best curry we have had since moving from London! Had the burgers, which were amazing, a couple of curries, both excellent and loads of sides all top drawer! Amazing work guys!

So I drive passed this place every day and heard great things about them, had friends around last night and gave it a try, we all had the chicken tikka stacker and we all agreed it was just simply amazing. Chicken was so soft and moist, Crunchy on the outside and so much flavour packed into each bite. The masala fries again so much flavour but packed some heat to. Onion bhajis again best I've ever had, amazing flavour and a slight bit of heat to them. Only thing I would say is the samosas could have done with being a little bit more crispy for my personal taste but all in amazing. Found my new go to take away. If I was served this food in a restaurant I'd be more then satisfied

Really yummy food. 2 of us ordered so we tried a few different bits. Tikka stacker burger (which was amazing, plenty of filling and huge) the loaded fries which were delicious and a nice change, the butter chicken, garlic rice, onion bhaji (which were exceptionally good...sometimes they are too greasy and sometimes too dry but these were just right) and a garlic naan. All was delicious my only slight quibble is that the curry had the whole cinnamon stick, cardamon pods, curry leaves etc in it still and it looked very pretty but id prefer not to have to fish it all out before I eat and I missed a cardamon pod and got a nasty shock when I bit down on it mid mouthful. Saying that it wouldn't put me off ordering again will just leave a note asking they are removed. Also quick and friendly delivery.

Absolutely amazing. Ordered twice in 2 weeks because it’s just that good. The Tikka burger may just be one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever had. Everything we’ve had so far has had amazing flavour and clearly made by someone with skill!

Our first "Curry Guys" takeaway tonight.. It did not disappoint! Delivery just under half an hour. Presentation for a takeaway was awesome. Food was hot when delivered but most of all... really delicious. Really glad we've experienced this food. Would highly recommend giving these guys ago.. We certainly will be again 👏

Wow…. Just wow! This is the place to get curries from in Poole. I don’t think I’ve ever had take away like this. Have ordered three times and each time has been outstanding. Highlights for me are the Butter chicken, mushroom bhaji and the Bengali jalfry! Can’t wait for order number 4!

Well, I have a new favourite curry place. Ordered from The Curry Guys for the first time tonight. Wow! It was utterly delicious! You have to try the Masala fries! Game changers! We had a selection of the curries. The Delhi Style Masala, the Butter 95, The Dansak and the Bengali Jalfry. The meat in all of these was tender and delicious, the sauce perfectly spiced. Our sides were plain rice, Pilaw Rice and Sag Aloo. All of which were perfectly cooked. All in all, a very positive first experience in terms of food quality. The ordering was very easy and was delivered on time by a lovely friendly lady. Well done The Curry Guys. We'll certainly be ordering again!

We have tried this takeaway a few times now and find it excellent! The food is really tasty and clean (not full of fat like you get in other places) - you can finish the dish without feeling uncomfortably full…. The packing is all recyclable or compostable which I really like. On top of all that the service from the delivery driver is always friendly! I recommend you give this place a try!

Ordered for the first time this evening, not feeling well and accidentally put collect instead of delivery, they called to check - which is something not every company would do. They delivered without extra charge and didn't make me feel an inconvenience! The chap couldn't find our house tucked away, he was so polite and called in good time for more instructions. The food was amazing. It was hot, blow your fork hot, and really really tasty. The cost was on par with a restaurant but with the convenience of home and I will definitely be ordering again. One tip would be to add a heat indicator to the dishes, just to help laymen like myself. Overall I cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks for a great meal.

New (ish) local takeaway to us. Ordered through the website for collection and everything was ready at the set time (on a Friday evening!) Great to see a menu with not only good vegan friendly labelling but also a while vegan section! We went for both the jackfruit and cauliflower curries, along with the samosas, and both the vegan friendly breads and some rice. Everything was delicious, especially the breeds. The cauliflower curry really is very spicy though so be careful 🥵 Nice recyclable packaging too. Will certainly be back to try some of the other options 😋

Was really keen to try this place as it's really close and the menu looked interesting. Unfortunately, we've both been quite ill today and to the toilet alot... We're vegetarian and ordered 2 of the vegan curries, jackfruit jalfrezi and the 3 green (not many options considering how great Indian veggie food is), the portions were fine but the curries were bland. For starters we got onion bhajis and samosas that were nice, but the 'pachos' were inedible - we did try them (photo attached). I think if the poppadoms had been packaged separately to the dips it would have been nice, but as they came together the poppadoms had disintegrated into a gloopy mess. Really horrid unfortunately and at nearly £7 a portion not good value. Sad to say we won't be returning.

First time we have used this takeaway and we were delighted with the food. We had a range of dishes from the tikka fries and tikka burger to a lamb curry. All very tasty and delivered in recyclable containers. We will order again soon.

Ordered a take away..good rep..arrived later than expected. The food was very average..if hot.. There was a lump of cooked red meat meat in my main course..uurrgh. There was a nasty joint..probs wing..in my food which I nearly choked on. So ..whilst without knowledge been championing this service ...now cannot realistically support their expensive and not special if hot poorly supplied food...back to ghurka spice which is great if a bit hot and at end of day better vfm and better value price versus quantity..a real disappointment...guess I'll have to bin the rest of it. What a waste..soo disappointing..

We’ve been waiting nearly 10 years to find a decent curry in the area and The Curry Guys have finally arrived - thank you! Creative, tasty dishes bursting with flavour and spices. Good sized portions and nicely presented. Prices are reasonable given the quality. Couldn’t recommend more highly - our go to guys for curry from now on.

If I could give more stars than 5 I would give a thousand!! When I tell you the food is mouth watering it really is so much taste and the service is very good!! I dream about curry guys! Fantastic food & quick service but disappointed with the size of the mushroom rice & sag aloo. Ordered 2 mains & 2 sides (one of each to share )but not enough rice for 2 people- certainly not worth the £34 paid! Sorry, as much as the food tasted good, it’s far too expensive for the portion sizes

This burger is made with the love and care and admiration of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, looking out over his Grande Armée, each and every one of his 600,000 men, collected from all the corners of Europe. The love, intensity, care and dedication put into this burger is amazing and sure to be reminiscent of a father figure telling you he’s proud of you. As Napoleon would say, “c’est parfait”. The Curry Guys, I commend you my good men.

We started using this takeaway about 2 months ago. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is superb. There are only 8 main dishes to choose from and we've tried them all. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad dish from them. Good portions and the side dishes are also excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Hands down best take away Indian I’ve had in Poole in ages. Love the marketing and branding, modern take on Indian food but more than any of that, the food speaks for itself. Super tasty, really well made, can’t wait to order again.

Absolutely delicious. Best by far in the area. Big portions with perfect sauce consistency unlike many others that are like soup when they arrive. Great presentation and packaging too. Yes the prices are slightly higher than the others but considering the huge expenses that food outlets have to endure in these times its reasonable but also you get what you pay for. This will be our new Indian takeaway from now on.

No problem with portion sizes or delivery time , but food taste and quality is a big problem here!! Chicken tikka stacker - tasteless Chicken Jalfry - hardly any chicken 90% onions!! Onion bhajis - think they were cooked in 1984 , and reheated every day since!! They were straight in the bin!! Pete

First time getting a takeaway from the Curry Guys. Ordered in store and was blown away by how tasty and fresh the food is. Really refreshing alternative take on the standard curry takeaway with their menu and great to see they are using sustainable packaging. These guys know their stuff. Will be back soon!

Very pleased with our first order. £2 for delivery much better than getting the car out to collect order. Onion Bhaji too crisp for us, cooked flat rather than the usual sphere. I’d like an indication of how hot/spicy dishes are on the menu. Will order again

Tonight is the first time we have ordered a takeaway with the curry guys. This was the best curry we have had and on a different level. Generous portions, I was recommended the lamb bhuna and it was amazing. We will be ordering again! Amazing!

Speedy delivery, great menu choices and fairly priced with big portions and exceedingly delicious food. The urban street food is a great twist on some classic curry dishes, executed fantastically. We will be back!

The food was delicious & fairly priced. I had the £7.95 chicken tikka burger and it was massive!!! Wings were so crispy and flavourful too. The food was all packaged thoughtfully and service was quick and lovely. Will absolutely be ordering again! :)

Oh dear Curry Guys I think you have lost it. Rebranding looking good, new additions to the menu interesting BUT the price hike is phenomenal. Delivery alone has gone up 400%. Everything else around 30%-40%. I have recommended you to many many friends who order, like we do, regularly. I'm sorry to say you have lost our custom despite being the best curry around here. Last night a modest order for four people worked out at £77. You should be ashamed.

Would give zero if I could. Ordered a "vegetarian" curry which turned out to have animal bones in it. I feel sick as a vegan, but if you're not that bothered just think what this says about their food "hygiene" standards. Would avoid 1000%

Great food with a great price! Tastes just like a restaurant and for the money outshines other local takeaways. The dishes have flavour and you can tell what you are eating, other places just take generic. Portion sizes are good and delivery drivers are friendly!

Absolutely the best curry I've ever had. I'm a new customer and everything from the poppadoms to the curries tasted fresh and lovely.

Just had a vegetable masala & vegetable korma with pilau rice and a garlic naan. For those people complaining about portions, I don’t know what you’re talking about. We made sure to order the “go large” add on for 99p and the portions were huge! Too much for 2 of us and we can eat a lot. Lovely spice to the masala too, not just sugar and milky taste like most. Will be ordering again, new favourite! Highly recommend!

We ordered of the curry guys last week and as I ordered mid evening it took over an hr to be delivered to me thats not a problem as it was a Saturday night and they would be busy, So we decided to order from them again but this week we didn't want to wait an hour so I thought it better to phone up early at 5pm when they opened we had the set meal and ordered it for 18.45 and that's where it all went wrong. I had to phone up at 19.05 to ask where the order was and was assured it was on its way and would be hot, it finally turned up at 19.25 40 mins late and then to be told by the driver that they had loads of order's and he had to come from another shop to help, When we finally get to eat our meal on unpacking it found it was only luck warm ok I could of microwaved it but don't buy a curry to then have to reheat it, the onion baja was also over cooked, the rice bowl you get is barley enough for 1 let alone 2 as its small so over all very disappointed with the service and the meal. Would I return to Try them again the answer is NO Thier is plenty of Indian take aways in poole so my advise would be to look elsewhere if you want a curry that is hot and you don't have to wait all night for it, all I will say on the plus side side is the price but as the saying goes you get for what you pay for cheap meal is not always cheerful. Sorry curry guys I won't be returning anytime soon as didn't really get any sort of apology either only that they were busy when I ordered early to hopefully Avoid the waiting time .

Food tasted ok, but portions very small for this type of food. Smallest Naan bread and Chapatis I've ever seen - did not know they exist!!!

Can I just say as a member of staff I'm dissatisfied with the free food I've been given and don't get me started on the state of the toilets because they are ammiculate let me just say ad member of staff toilets make the establishment on a lighter note I expect mushroom rice for free next time!!!!!!! Ps your toilets flush very well

TINIEST PORTIONS EVER! What a massive disappointment! i spent about £70 to buy a few curries as most of the dishes were about £1 cheaper than takeaways - think i'd get two meals to share between 5 us. Well when it arrived I thought i had been be given child portions. The rice & dal is in tiny bowls - so can't be shared - its barely enough for 1 person. The plastic trays of curry sauces are half size. As I am writing this I feel more and more annoyed as I feel misled and ripped-off. 1st & last order - i will just spend usual prices - but get better value for money doing so. I attach a picture with a regular coffee mug in the background so you can see I am not exaggerating on the sizes - the tray depths make it about a 1/3 of the way up the mug. The rice & dhal are also in round bowls so not even a square fill with corners.

These guys have really managed to make the curry experience so much better! The ordering experience is fast and simple with a mild, medium and hot system. No confusing categories to pick from. The journey from picking a curry, to rice, sides and extras is very quick and simple. The food comes in nice, simple packaging with sensible portion sizes. Long gone are the horrible curry stained cardboard lids on red hot metal trays. Food is delivered in sensibly sized individual plastic packages. It takes literally 20 seconds to move from delivery to plate. The quality of the curry is fantastic. Rich, buttery and fresh. It is by far the best curry I have had, and better than restaurant quality in my opinion. They also stock chilli pickle which is delicious with the meal. Prices are very reasonable, starting from £5 for a curry. I don't often leave reviews, but these guys seem to have just completely understood the entire takeaway experience. From ordering, to plate, to mouth, everything is just right. Look forward to ordering from you again.

Late delivery, nan bread very thin DRY and small,chicken ceylon has no flavour or heat as described and because of being late the temperature wasn't good. I won't use again or recommend. Not Imrans usual quality.

Incredibly tasty, especially when you consider the price, Excellent value for money. Responsive when I had questions and needed help help ordering due to a glitch in their payment system which was sorted swiftly. The jalfrezi could be spicier but the flavours are all there, great light rice and the bhajis and samosas were tasty. Not as greasy as a normal curry takeaway either so that's a bonus! We may well use these guys for our regular takeaway, whenever we are organised to do the pre order type of service

Ordered a variety of their curries for delivery. Tried the kurma last night it was delicious, huge tasty pieces of chicken, large portion size. The rice was wonderfully light and fluffy and the bajis were great. I’ve frozen the rest of curries and can’t wait to try them all. Great price, will definitely be ordering again

Ordered for the first time this week and living out in the sticks there tends not to be many delivery options but they were here when they said they would be. Great concept of heating up curries but with the authentic indian restaurant flavours and brilliant price.

We ordered 4 different curries from the Curry Guys. We have just had Babul's Balti. Flavour very good, not oily, tasted clean and fresh, plenty of tender chicken (6 good size pieces). We will definitely be buying again.

We ordered this for the first time on Friday evening and it was absolutely delicious. Best curry we have had in a long time. Also love the concept as we have had so many bad experiences recently with take - aways arriving late and/or cold. The food was delivered fresh on Friday morning and all we had to do was heat it up that evening which really suited. We will definitely be ordering again.
