Highly recommend this Restaurant. Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked meat served at the table non stop, the way you enjoy your meat until you turn your token from green to red to take a break. Fantastic staff with excellent service and Friendly Manager

My partner booked to go for the valentines offer and it was well worth it from being given a rose at the end of the evening and the sweet pud. The staff were fantastic from being greeted and seated.to table servers Every member was very friendly. Down to the food The meat was amazing and the saled bar was top noch. My reason for a 3* was it was soso cold in there and we ended up having to wear our coats.. Which when spending alot if money on a romantic meal was not good at all. We read through other reviews and there is a comment in there about being cold over amonth ago.. We have decided because we enjoyed the food will give it another go in the summer!!!

Absolutely awful experience, we had a table booked for valentines day. Place was freezing cold, service was terrible, prices of drinks were ridiculous, salad bar was miserable, we walked out in the end and then had one of the staff come up and start kicking off in another language. Will never come back here

Been here a few times & have never been disappointed . The lamb is my favourite meat , cooked exceptionally well . The salad bar has a good selection of different things . The drinks tend to be on the slow side compared to how quick they are with the different meats , but that’s the only thing I’d pick up on . Staff are Great and super friendly , lovely views of quay side

We dined with friends from out of town and we were all impressed. We were greeted warmly and seated in glass corner table with views across the harbour and Brownsea. The staff were all friendly and attentive, without being intrusive - perfectly professional. The sides buffet was well stocked with a great selection of fresh, interesting, nibbles and other dishes with many healthy options available. The varied meats, carved at the table, were brought very regularly, cooked to our liking, and all juicy, fresh and delicious. We were all impressed with the variety and quality of the food and the overall presentation. My only minor criticism, was how loud and noisy the dining room became. I realise this would not trouble everyone, but the hard furnishings made the ambient noise particularly harsh (I have a particular sensitivity). I enjoy the mild drama of being presented with random meats in succession. I’d highly recommend eating here for a unique experience.

Went for a meal here over the weekend on an early Sunday evening. It was such a pleasure and nothing we could have faulted. A table next to the window with the views of the quay. The buffet was well stocked with fresh bread, salads and hot dishes. The meat which was brought round was very tasty, cooked to perfection and a lot of it too! They kept coming back with more to make sure we were full. The staff and meat carvers were all very friendly. We will be back one of our favourite restaurants!!!

We dined here tonight to celebrate a 21st birthday. Amazing food with incredible service. Accommodating to any requests. Honestly the best meal we have ever had! Couldn’t recommend more!

Went to look for reviews after a meal out to see if I was just being a fussy person after paying £110 for 2 beers, 2 meals a soft drink... but i can see someone else has also left a review for tonight too. Waiting staff appeared nervous and stressed. Clearly it was an understaffed night. Meat was good, although I would argue underseasoned in places, however you can make use of a good selection of sauces in the buffet. Felt as though where we were sat in the resturant got less meat delivered, and further drinks and dishes took around 20 minutes to come. Also, it was very cold in the resturant, and a pre-booked table wasn't ready on arrival. All around a bit disappointing. Felt bad for the young waiting staff and decided to keep gratuity on our bill, but wouldn't recommend for a re-visit at this franchise.

Not impressed. Went for dinner, going a Nice night out. Cold environment, waiting staff very dry. Horrified by their really short skirt, almost like just having a top. Buffet not much, if just going for the meat rodízio ok, but very disappointed and not Brazilian atmosphere at all. Not going back and wont recomend

Myself and a few work mates booked a table at poole just before Christmas. First time for me and will definitely be going back. The service and staff was first class and so friendly. The buffet was great and the meat just kept coming. Just amazing cooked just right. This is a meat lovers heaven.

Best meat in town!!! Stopped there with a group of friends last weekend and we left the place with our bellies full to the top. Drinks from the bar where the perfect match to the food, also. Great service, very welcoming, got to meet two of the brothers that run the place, authentic Brasilians loving their business. Huge respect. We will be back 100%!!!

Disgraceful attitude toward customers and employees. When customers are given confusing, contradictory information and then the waitstaff are left to cover for the mistakes of an unqualified manager, it’s hard to keep your evening mood up and just ignore it. Costumers should not feel sorry for employed personnel. A simple change to professional employees and clear instructions could transform this place from 1 to 5 stars, and I hope stakeholders take note of this feedback. Not only will I not come back here, but I was actually about to test out this place for my celebration, and now I’ll have to find another venue.

Incredible experience, salad bar alone is worth going for but the meats are out of this world! Very friendly staff and great cocktails.

Really enjoyed our meal here as a family of 4 with 2 young children. Service was spot on very attentive. The concept is really cool and different, authentic Brazilian. The ambience is lovely, complemented by the stunning views over poole quay. The salad bar was all high standard and children enjoyed very much. The beef and lamb were so lovely, wine was great and we loved the whole concept. Can't wait to return.

I would eat here everyday, the service was amazing, the food was superb. The venue is second to none. I was lucky to have a beautiful day, eating on the balcony, if you are in Poole, it is a must! Highly recommended.

We were visiting the area and took a gamble with the price of the meal. Worth every penny. Great food and great staff, atmosphere was really nice but got a bit noisy as it became more busy. Can't recommend highly enough.

Sambô: A Meat Lover's Paradise with a Side of Hiccups Poole Quay's Sambô promised an unforgettable steak experience, and it largely delivered on that promise. The meats, oh those meats, were quite simply brilliant, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The ambiance, complemented by lovely views, made for a truly delightful dining experience. This was made extra special with the staff making a super effort to sing happy birthday to me beautiful lady! Totally unexpected and a fantastic surprise for both of us! However, the evening wasn't without its hitches. A simple request for water was initially overlooked, requiring a gentle reminder. More concerning was the £20 reservation deposit, a standard practice these days, which wasn't deducted from the final bill. A call to the restaurant assured me of a swift refund, which I'm still awaiting. A word to the wise: double-check your bill if you've made a reservation. Despite these minor hiccups, Sambô left a lasting impression. The quality of the food, coupled with the stunning location and ample parking nearby, makes it a must-visit for steak enthusiasts. Just remember to keep an eye on that bill! Update Pending: I'll be sure to update this review once the refund is processed, adding another layer to this Sambô story.

This is my favourite restaurant. The staff are amazing. The food is very high quality and always cooked to perfection. It looks like a lot of money but is actually excellent value for money as you pay once and the food keeps coming all night. You are given a selection of around 13 different meats and the staff served you as much as you want of each every 5 minutes or so. You also get to use the salad bar which is all higher class and also exotic foods. For example smoked salmon and Brazilian special salad/vina greta as 2 examples The Brazilian lager is delicious and I highly recommend. You have views over Poole harbour, it is the prime spot along the quay for views. The restaurant and toilets are very clean. The staff are mainly Brazilian, and speak great English, also very attentive and polite. The music gives a great ambience. If you have not visited this place , you must at least once to experience it , but like myself you may get hooked and keep coming.

Stunning eating with views over poole key was just fantastic It's an all u can eat salad bar very fresh indeed and the meats brought to you from lamb to pork and all sorts of steaks all cooked perfect Not the cheapest of places I've been but worth a good look and see

Went to dine for my wife's birthday, to show her what a rodízio is all about. The experience was great, from the delicious meats, the view of the harbour, and a great waiter who I thought was Brazilian (I was wrong xD) but we both spoke Spanish instead. He was super attentive and professional. Will be back one day :)

We dined on Friday evening, it was very quiet, only a few tables. Still we had an amazing experience, quick and attentive service, amazing food, both salad bar, which did have hot dishes too and of course the grilled meats.

The food was really good but some of the cuts (filet) had no flavour but the other cuts were good. The salad bar had a nice selection and the views out onto the harbour were stunning. Hannah was an excellent waitress though and a real credit to the restaurant. Pleasant, professional and a lovely manner.

Had a fantastic experience all around!! Food was fantastic and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend! Some of the guests at our table were also running 45mins late and they still held the table for us and we didn’t feel rush at all!

Excellent food. The salad bar had everything we wanted. The various meats served at our table were all perfectly cooked, hot and delicious. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails each and a bottle of a lovely light red wine. The dessert menu is quite limited, but we both found dishes we really enjoyed, washed down with a dessert wine. Our waitress "Chelsea" was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. She made the evening that little bit more pleasant. The atmosphere was good, but would have been better if it was more busy, but sadly the football kept people away. We will definitely go back and take family and friends with us. And that is probably the best compliment we can give.

Went there last night for my sons 30th birthday, so glad we did, superb food and top notch service, special mention to young waitress “Ruby” so helpful and enthusiastic, food (meat ) was very tender, great tasting, plentiful and very varied, and the Salads etc were fresh and replenished regularly, it was my first visit but definitely won’t be my last strongly recommended and suitable for young children Thanks again for a memorable evening

The food was amazing but when I put my fat scraps in a napkin to take to the dogs they told me I can’t and took it off me. When i have just paid £50 for an all you can meat restaurant I expect to be able to take the scraps home. They will only put it in the bin anyway! Every other restaurant I go to doesn’t have a problem with it?!

If I could write a zero star I would. Half the meat didn’t come and the service is shocking. The managers attitude stinks

Really amazing restaurant. Having last experienced a Brazilian churrascaria in Foz do Iguazu in Brazil, I was quite excited to try one again. Booked this restaurant for my wife's birthday as I thought it'd be a trip down memory lane with some great food thrown in. It's not cheap, the meat rodizio is £42.95 pp, but it just keeps on coming so if you can keep up it's pretty good value. Throw in some very nice, but expensive, cocktails, drinks, and dessert and you're spending about £100 pp including service charge. The food itself was delicious, with cuts of rump steak, strip steak, gammon, minted lamb, sausages, honey pork, sirloin steak, chilli steak, garlic chicken, filet mignon, chicken wrapped in bacon, etc... Don't be afraid to try the chicken heart! The salad buffet was also pretty well stocked and tasty, I was very appreciative of the yummy feijoada. I ate bowlfuls of it when we were in Brazil. Service was good, attentive without being overwhelming, and we didn't have to wait long for the next meat skewer to appear. You also get a great view over Poole Quay and Harbour whilst having your meal. All 6 of us had a great evening and a fab meal. Only thing I think could be improved is the chicken, the garlic chicken was quite dry and I didn't try the chicken and bacon. I'd also like to see venison on the menu as it's a fabulous and underrated meat.

What a fantastic food experience will be our new favourite place to eat the staff are friendly and the food is quality just make sure you skip lunch if you are having dinner there

Loved it, first time here, went after reading the reviews, as wanted somewhere good for anniversary meal. The staff were amazing, very attentive, despite coming round frequently with the cuts of meat, it was done in a non invasive way. they explained how it worked. And after clearing out plates, they said if we wanted more, just go back up to the salad bar and we could start fresh again. The food was to die for, I highly recommend as extremely good value for money, you can have it cooked in various ways and try it all. We will definitely be dining here again. Everything was perfect. The first peice of gamon we had was divine and set us up for an exceptional dining experience.

We have enjoyed two celebrations at Sambô and cannot recommend them enough ❤️ Food is absolutely AMAZING , staff really go out of their way for you , big variety of drinks and cocktails with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We went for the first time for my husband's birthday, the food, service and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. I took a cake with me and they stored it for me in the fridge and bought it out after our meal all the staff came out singing happy birthday which was so sweet and great touch. I definitely recommend it staff was so friendly.

Excellent, but my 7 year son had to pay full price and he ate very little. It was £140 for us all. We were surprised at the bill. Wished we'd asked first.

We genuinely love a Brazilian steakhouse and we’re looking forward to this all week. Upon arriving there we waited until staff finished their conversation before they welcomed us. They went beyond expectations and got us a great window seat. Around 10 minutes after seating, we were asked what we would like to drink and the usual welcome (explanation of how it works etc) really nice waiter. I ordered steaks and my wife ordered fish option. For drinks, I ordered JD and a Gin. Around 3-4 minutes later, they returned letting me know they had no JD and could I choose something else. I decided on strawberry daiquiri. Around 15 minutes later, they arrived and I have to say… we’re excellent! My food started arriving but would skip our table (not all the time… it seemed random) however, under seasoned compared to my experiences in another Brazilian steakhouse (Rio Steak in Newcastle). It was still acceptable to eat. While this was going on, my wife received no food at all. I asked multiple times if we could have fish for my wife. It was 25-30 minutes before my wife received her Salmon. She ate some and then told me she wanted salad. I later found out it was due to the salmon being dry and the accompanying vegetables being overcooked and excessively soft. I requested to order another round of drinks… and after waiting almost 30 minutes, decided enough was enough, and walked out. Some of the wait staff kept apologising as they seen we were still waiting, but we witnessed multiple tables placing orders and receiving their drinks before us and without being petty, I don’t think that’s reasonable at all. After that amount of time waiting, we stood up to pay and leave. I was told they had just made it (our drinks) and I will have to pay. I informed him I would have been more than happy to pay if they arrived 10-15 mins after we ordered them. Without going into detail, he was rude and until I told him directly, I’m not paying for drinks that didn’t arrive, he was trying to charge me. He then removed the drinks, and tried to add on, just under £10 gratuity which I wasn’t best pleased about. I’m all for tipping for good service, but this was not acceptable by any means. Theres an amazing steakhouse apposite and I would 100% recommend that over this place. As much as I was hoping for the same exceptional experience I’ve had previously - this is in a different league for all the wrong reasons. I’d recommend anyone to reconsider - there are much, much better options available in Poole.

My partner and I have been to Sambo in Poole twice now, once on our own and one with friends. Both times the service and the food were excellent, great selection of drinks and excellent food. Our host one both occasions ( Brandon ) was brilliant with Customer service and making sure we were enjoying our time. Amazing atmosphere! Thank you to all the team there

We turned up a few minutes after they accepted last food booking, but after they knew we were in the area from Cardiff, they kindly let us in. The service was fabulous, the food delicious (the minted lamb!), and the salad bar was really varied. As much salad and meat as you can eat and the staff were so attentive. No pressure to leave (we were last ones there) and highly recommend. Just remember to turn your little card over to red if you need a steak break!

One off the best Rodizio that I’ve tried up until now!(and we tried few🫣) I will highly recommend this Rodizio! Lovely and clean restaurant ✅ Lovely staff and prompt ✅ Great food ✅ Awesome dinner, unfortunately we where to fully and didn’t try any desserts, but they looked nice. The buffet is very different, but it has beans, rice and farofa, the meats are all delicious, I was even impressed, now the pudding won me over, I was afraid it would be very different, but it was pretty much the same, I still have one more week here, I'll be back!

I have made a call to Sambo to book a table for 13 people for a birthday party, the guy answered the *phonewas not friendly at all. Anyway I have seen the Their price online and asked if they could give us a discount for my party which had 4 children age between 5 to 11 . The guy i was talking to answered me very abrupt NO and said the kids would pay the same price as an adult £ 42.00 a head. I have asked this how can they justify charging a 5 year hold as an adult price and yet again his replied quire rude was "man this is the price " I can't mentioned about their food quality but having a first contact with Sambo over the phone and receiving an "special " treatment it just put the all party off and to be honest who would like to go to a restaurant that treats their customers rude and meaning over the phone????

The meats are very good, with a good variety including sirloin, gammon, chicken etc. Great views across the quay and marina, but let down slightly by the salad bar: overcooked rice (to the point where it was crunchy) and limp lettuce. Also, the bill was incorrect (which they sorted quickly and apologised for) but still...

Absolutely loved our lunch service today for my birthday week! Meat cooked to perfection and kept coming, salad bar is buffet style and cocktails drinks defo had alcohol and style to it! Staff couldn't have done any better with service, 10/10

Epic yet again!!! Nans 75th birthday this time. The staff again.... incredible!! The food sooo scrummy 😋A MUST try is the Brazilian steak, honey pork, minted lamb, sausages and the bottle of merlot 🍷🍷😂 I went here with a group of about 10 of us....the service was impeccable especially considering how many of us there were. I couldn't believe how beautiful the decor and salad bar looked...I don't think I've ever seen a salad bar on ice before. 🥗❄️ The food is sensational especially the honey pork which we ordered sooo much more of! 🤤🤤 I find it cool and helpful (ESPECIALLY with a big group) that you can turn your food card over and have a food 'pit stop' 🛑 and then when you're ready to eat more you can simply turn your card back to green💚 and they bring more yummy food!! Great service, great food, great prices! Will definitely be going back!

Nice place to go for a meal. The restaurant was spotless and staff were friendly. Good thing a new Brazilian rodizio is in town. The meat was really tasty and they have a good variety of sides and nice bread and is all unlimited! I booked the table online and had to pay 10£ deposit per person and I’ve parked the car in a parking that is literally 2min walking from there. They also have good mocktails which is good for those you don’t drink alcohol. The only thing my boyfriend didn’t liked it was the fact they only had 1 lager out of the 4 options in the menu as the other one they had was a cider.

We had a meal here last night- 2 adults and a child and I couldn’t fault the food or the service. Our waiter (Brandon) was brilliant, friendly and attentive. All staff were welcoming also. If we didn’t live so far away we’d be regulars!! Thank you

Very nice tasty pasta with Salmon and the salad was delicious too. The pasta dish looked great too. The waiter was friendly and chatty. I didn't choose the meats because I felt I would be overwhelmed by the amount of meats on offer. I would visit again. But would have to not eat a few days before. The mocktail I had was nice.

First time visit, food was great. Draft beers were off which was disappointing. Avoid filling up on the salad bar (food was very fresh and well stocked) as you need lots of space for the meat! We had around 4 genuine check backs, and during those they ask you if you are happy with the meat selection, too fast / too slow, anything else they can bring etc. Makes you feel like they are interested in making your visit as pleasurable as possible, which is always a big plus for me. Others have said it's not an authentic experience, that may be true, but they advertise food in the Rodizio *style*, not exact. As with the Chinese, Indian food, served in the UK it will be tailored to UK tastes. It is expensive, but a real treat, we will be going again.

I see a lot of positive reviews here about the food, but I think they are people who have never tasted a real Brazilian rodizio. In many countries there are Brazilian rodizio restaurants and this one is far from being a Brazilian rodizio restaurant. It starts right away by not seeing the meat being grilled I won't talk about the service because given the youth of the employees they will have some excuse for their lack of practice in dealing with customers. But the prices practiced force us to have professional people and not young apprentices. Everywhere it is normal that they try to get people to eat the cheap stuff so that the expensive meats come at the end and people are full. But in this case they took the trouble not to bring any expensive meat. I had to say that I wanted Picanha and the confused employee said that the chef was preparing it. Where were Termite, Maminha and Fraldinha, which are obligatory meats in a Rodizio? They weren't because they are the most expensive meats. Since when does a rodizio feature Carneiro? And since when do you serve pork with honey on a plate? This is not part of the Traditional Brazilian Rodizio. And they bring small pieces of a supposed Filet Mignon that tasted like lamb and was black and hard. Inedible. Of course, the side dishes table was well stocked with the traditional Feijão Preto and Farofa and much more because people tend to bring everything and are full, a good scheme. Very negative price/quality ratio. And in the end, there is still the audacity to ask for a service fee. How is it possible to spoil a space that could be very good. Never again.

Absolutely amazing as always! My partner and I came for a late valentines meal on Saturday 18th. There was a slight problem with tables and we were sat on a round table by the entrance sort of away from everyone, we were worried we might be forgotten but that was far from the case, our waitress with black and pink hair made sure we were well looked after, along with the manager. One of the waiters with the meat also gave us an extra portion of the honey pork which is my all time favourite! At the end, the manager gave us a complimentary treat, which absolutely made our evening. (I wish I got names but they are all amazing)

My first visit to this location after two days sailing and stopping in Poole. Perfect service and food. Really recommendable. Have been to some places like this already (Germany, USA) but this was the best experience due to the pro active service and quality of food. Well done team and You are my first choice in case I visit Poole again!!!!

One of the best restaurants I've been to all time. Having only done a Brazillian grill once before in London, Sambo really hit the marker and then some with service, incredible food and a lovely atmosphere for a birthday dinner. The staff are absolutely brilliant and were a great laugh, really knowledgeable and overall just great guys and girls and incredible with their service on the night and the food was EXCELLENT! The unlimited buffet can really fool you with loading up but definitely say to save space for the incredible amounts of meats that are served and brought round all of which tasted incredible and hand on heart would definitely return again for another great night. A very big thank you to all staff and kitchen staff working on Saturday night - you guys were brilliant and really made my partners birthday one to remember for his first visit to a Brazillian grill and our first trip to Poole!

Wonderful restaurant and impeccable service, even without speaking English the attendants were super kind and welcoming. Told us they were fully booked when they had loads of empty tables. Awful.

Had a lovely meal here on a Wednesday night. Staff were all really friendly and professional... Actually something that's hard to come by these days! Food was great. Plenty of choice on the salad cart including different cheeses and the meats that came out were all really tasty. We were regularly asked if we preferred rare or well done so were given what we prefer. Thank you for the nice dinner!

Second visit to Sambo, first visit was nice, food was good, slightly expensive. Second visit went with a party of 10, drinks were mega slow to come out (40+ mins), food was good, and the waiters with the meat were great. (hence 3 stars not 1) The other staff seemed miserable quite young. Had to take the receipt back 3 times as they tried to over charge, firstly by £134 (did nt take deposit off £60), then did nt take the second deposit we paid to add more people to the group (£40) and then a drink one of the ladies had was Daiquiri, the till charged for the drink then also charged for the flavour choice (another £34 extra). Once sorted the girl at the till was very apologetic and said it happens quite often. So how many people have they overcharged and not noticed? If you go, my advice enjoy the food, and check the bill!! Unfortunately will not be going again, shame because the concept and food was good.

Avoid. Ridiculously expensive. Food certainly not worth cost. Meat servers consistently avoided our table so we did not get anywhere near the service some tables did. All the manager did was removed service charge !!! Disgusting a service charge was placed when the service was so appalling. Won’t be back and would never recommend

Fabulous experience. I had already tried numerous brazilian restaurants but this one really hits the spot. The meat was cooked to its perfect degree and the staff was very polite and friendly, always worried that everything was at our liking. Congrats!

Visited Sambō on saturday evening, Both the food and drinks were amazing but what topped it for me was the service! Was served by a gorgeous waitress to the name of Lili she was very kind and attentive just an overall angel. I hope soon to travel back to England and dine here again for the food, the experience and the Beautiful waitress. Best restaurant in Poole!

Amazing food and service, Brandon and Tommy I believe his name was gave excellent service. The view is great and they had a nice bar/ cocktail selection. Lastly the value for money for the exquisite food you get is phenomenal. Unlimited steak, who can complain.
