The Curator in Hillingdon

Kinga was our waitress and claire manager of the shift. Food was very good and very quick services, drinks where lovely ! Not a as cheap as a spoons airport breakfast but certainly better quality and worth the little more £!

This was a great place for brunch - well cooked quality food served by Maria with a smile. A special mention to Dorothy at the door - very welcoming, friendly and works hard!

Very Fast service especially useful if u have to get a quick bite before a flight

So many options in this area of Heathrow and unfortunately we chose the Curator. We waited for 15 minutes and no one came to our table. We finally ordered from the online menu but not all the options on the menu are offered online nor can you make any adjustments or additions to the order. When a server finally came with our food, it came out one plate at a time. We asked to order the items we couldn’t find online but the portions are small. The waitstaff was rude and condescending. I would not return.

My sister & I both ordered the brioche toast with avocado & chopped tomatoes with herbs & salad. First class breakfast, tasty, very moreish & very filling. Im not vegan but my siser is, was so good to have choice. Would definitely eat here again.

I found the Bar staff rude and disrespectful. This was Sunday 3rd November and they had a shortish bartender who was constantly swearing and more interested in talking about football with his work colleagues. Loud, rude and big headed. Both the bartender’s require a lesson in how to serve the public

Checked out of our hotel room and ran into Heathrow to catch an early morning flight. We needed breakfast before some very long flights, and this place looked good. And it was. Fast service. Good food. Better than usual airport restaurant.

This Curator Restaurant in Heathrow Airport departure area is the worst that we haven't met before. Extremely terrible service !! Staff are inefficient, walking here and there to pretend busy. We sincerely want to warn Asian travellers not to go in. My husband and I visited this Curator this morning at about 8.45am, Nov 1, 2024 and strongly felt being insulted!! First, we lined up for long for a table (very strange that we saw empty tables are right next to the entrance, yet no staff noticed that! They just focus their eyes on the inside of the restaurant!) We were seated in the inner side after waiting for 15 mins but then no one took care of us at all !! We have been waving hands for uncountable times to order foods, yet all waitresses said the same thing repeatedly "someone would help" !! As we observed, the waitresses and waiters were pretending to be busy. Some even chatted long with the customers and pretended not seeing our waving hands.Finally, we talked to a waiter, named David whom we think is a bit senior. Yet, David also said someone would help us and then he walked away! We waited and waited, 15 mins later, we couldn't stand any longer as we saw new consumers kept coming in and were being served ! We talked to David again, but he said impolitely that he was busy and asked us to use the QR Code on our table to order food on our own, then he left !! David's bad attitude made us extremely annoyed !! As we observed, no guests used QR code to order food at all, their orders were taken by the waiters!! Why We Were Ignored?? We felt very helpless so we scan the QR code, BUT their code is not working at all!! There is a message saying "Oops something wrong" with the code! Then there were 2 new customers (Europeans) sitting next to us and felt strange about their service and attitudes on us. The 2 guests even asked us how long we had been waiting for service and felt pity for us! Finally, we felt very unpleasant and asked David why we were not served?! We sat down for 15 mins already, and no waiter come to take our order. We waved hands, talked to many waiters and waitresss, and even scanned QR code also, yet NO ONE TAKE OUR ORDER!! Why such Bad service? Finally, David knew were annoyed and then he took our order. Yet, David gave us a black cold face throughout his order taking. Is that because we are Asians? Very strangely, after taking our order, David took initiative to take order for our neighbor table! Is that because we are not wearing good brand-name outfits? As we notice we were the only 2 Asians dinning in this Curator this morning. If Curator and it's staff don't welcome Asians, put a BIG Sign at the entrance please!! We felt strongly discriminated.

Good place to eat whilst waiting for your flight. Usually a queue to be seated if eating but staff have always managed to find a place. Food comes quickly and served hot but can be greasy. Bar service is busy and therefore slow if you’re only there for drinks. Shout out to waiter Savio who was incredibly attentive and was always looking around to see where he was needed so no wait for service. Always nice to see attentive and efficient staff especially in busy places when you’re time limited. Would recommend

Thank you to Dorothy and Maciek for accommodating a super fast service on a busy Friday at peak time 7am. From getting a menu in the queue to getting food on the table took less than 10 minutes. French toast is a highlight!

Great vibe, super place for a relaxed glass of wine, British style before heading for our flight. Friendly personable service. A delight. Flight departures board to hand, so easy to keep an eye on what and when.

Good tasting food but expensive prices for small portions- but everything is going to be more expensive at the airport I guess. Overall good place to get some food before catching your flight!

Nice looking place, decent food, bad service. We were seated closest to the kitchen. Noticed that a table close to us was available (table for two, like ours). Went there. Seater came rushing in, aggressively cleaned the table, pushed leftovers on my lap, threw the ketchup holder back on the table and left unexcused. Left an unpleasant feeling over our stay. Was striking compared to our other experiences within London, everyone being very polite and welcoming. A sad payment of 50 pounds.

Food was good, got the French toast with maple syrup. Would have liked a tad more syrup for my French toast, but with the non existent service I could not. Also would have liked ONE drink refill, but alas no service. Table next to me had to wave down server to get there check, so I jumped when they did so I could make my flight. I don’t know if she had too big a section, or who knows maybe she didn’t care. I get it’s an airport and you get what you get, but geez try a little. Food was good at least!

Gurveen is a huge asset. Friendly, smiling polite and provides 100% customer service. He needs a bonus!

We had a lovely breakfast before our flight to Miami and were served by an amazing lady by the name of Dorota! She was filled with nothing but happiness and made our morning that’s for sure!

She was so pleasant even and although the restaurant was so busy she made the time to ensure I had a great place to set up my laptop and have a really lovely breakfast!
