Didn't have food so can't give a good review on that but the atmosphere was great and staff are awesome.

Caught it on a very quiet night.

Went here expecting a live band at 915 pm still no-one turned up .. myself and missis and couple of family friends left disappointed and felt we were told a load of rubbish just to get us in the premises

Titanic porter and 6x are kept perfectly, as are the guest ales they get in which are a delight. Always have felt welcome in there, great pub!

Always have a friendly welcome, not busy on our visit and having a bit of trouble with the draught ale on the night. Otherwise ok.

First visit made to feel welcome. My husband spent many years in there in his youth so was a blast from the past but as it was in the 80's he didn't see many faces he knew.

Great time enjoyed my visit will be going back again.

Nicely appointed pub,restaurant with a comprehensive chose of beers and spirits.set on a lovely location on the edge of newstead estate.

Outstanding service. Friendly staff. Good choice of alcoholic and soft drinks available to choose from. Serves good quality pub food.

Another great evening spent in a fa ntastic welcoming atmosphere. Pub was lively with superleague darts being played and world championships being screened on the numerous quality Tvs. Enjoyed superbly kept draught beer served by super polite and friendly bar staff. My wife took advantage of the extensive gin menu on offer another great feature which included great value specials. Licencees were working their butt's off facilitating the darts matches providing hot food for their refreshment yet still remaining approachable and attentive to all the other customers. This is a real jewel for Blurton and Newstead and as word spreads the whole of Stoke. Great to have a traditional yet innovative pub on our doorstep and long may it flourish.

Great family and community pub do great weekend breakfasts from 10am.

It's ok but need more staff on had to wait to long for service landlady playing on phone but not serving when busy only one staff on Friday night not good

Great Landlord and Landlady making this pub the heart of the community join one of the many teams come to one of the brilliant live acts. Or just go and drink there brilliant gins. They also sell Dortmunder probably the best main stream German lager in the UK!

It was a good night out, first time I've been here and hopefully not the last.

Watched magnetic jellyfish a couple of weeks back, appleyard dark fruits wasn't really my taste but hop house and the ginger gin was fantastic

A friendly pub, It have a bar a side room with bar garden separated by curtains for functions. They do catering for you functions, It has a carpark at the front and to it right side. The pub has live football and also has it own team cuckcoo FC.

I must say that as being part of a touring band, this venue has been very accommodating and supportive of upcoming music groups. Give them a try. Special offers on shots and cocktails too ;-) Always a winner
