Great Guinness, wish they had more staff with a queue for the bar!

Lovely atmosphere. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The thing that I found so good was the fact they do a menu for small appetites which makes my choice of what to have so much easier as I usually end up leaving so much when I have to have a normal size meal.

Lovely pub - wasps are a nightmare, staff not helping the situation by pouring the left over drinks down the flower beds.

Stopped off after long hike up the hill from the harbour at Polperro. Good sized outside seating area. Well shaded. We only had soft drinks as it was early afternoon and too hot. Pleasant staff.

Really picturesque country pub with a waterwheel on one side, set at the top/entrance of Polperro village. Inside nice country feel plenty of outdoor seating. Did not stay or eat as were visiting Polperro. Note, no car park as I could see so unless arrive on bus or pay to park car in main car park which is a bit of a shame, only car park for residents.

Beautiful old watermill inn, food was good, prices as expected these days a little high but not too much, well worth a visit, it's the first pub at the start of the pretty village, Polperro, plenty more pubs in the village too.

We had a pint in the sun on a late afternoon. Very nice atmosphere, relaxing. But I guess it can be pretty crowded in the summer and peak season.

Charming pub at the top of the road leading down into the harbour. Rooms are well equipped and good standard. Bar has a choice of real ales, lagers and other drinks. Very friendly staff members provided a welcoming visit. Food served in restaurant and outside garden area. Very popular location for visitors to the area so can get rather busy.

The bus to Polperro is a nice ride and the steep walk down the valley to the harbour testing for older folk. That said there are benches and public toilets. On return the Crumplehorn is a good stop for a swift. The upper bar was open and the steps inside difficult for mobility impaired, however the upper door is much easier (a sign advising this would be appreciated). On our visit the one barmaid whizzed between serving drinks and delivering food to tables, as well as clearing down and cleaning tables. She worked really hard and deserves recognition (with a Madri) for her shift. The food was standard fayre and the portion good. A short walk across the road to the bus stop is an advantage.

Excellent staff and food. If you're in the vicinity pay it a visit Edit - Just a fabulous pub. Always lovely food & great service. Just be wary of the cost of wine. Bottle of Zinfandel rose is £27. Quite extortionate - star dropped

Called in for a snack on the way up the hill from Polperro. The sandwiches are a meal on their own, very well filled with a helping of coleslaw and a handful of crisps. Thoroughly enjoyable. Cannot say about the rooms as we were day trippers.

Did not stay here but came for a meal. Service can be a bit slow as it is very busy at times but the food is great. We had the fish cakes on the specials board and the salt and pepper squid. Both meals were fantastic- very tasty. Beer and wine to complement the meal was really good.

I stopped for food. I had the pie of the day which was Steak and Ale. The pie was good quality, nice chunks of meat. The mash was good, tasted nice and buttery. It would have been nice if the onion rings were homemade. Apart from that, it’s a nice pub with nice food.

Had a very cosy feel about it. We sat outside and the views are lovely. Good range of food and drink, not badly priced and very generous portions.

Stopped in after a days walking. Good range of refreshments, inside full of charm, ample seating outside to make the most of the weather. Quite a few gluten free options on menu as aswell, prices not out of the way. And if you are a bit worn out from the coast path, bus stop is in shuffling distance.

Lovely hotel, excellent for a weekend away. The rings are small but have everything you could need, and our sea view was gorgeous. Highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast and dinner! Generous portions, good selection, and everything we tried was delicious. Worth noting that it's up quite a steep hill and it's stairs up to the rooms, not a lift. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
