Great local pub, spent a few nights in here during our recent stay in the area, well worth a visit.

Place is spot on! Lovely decor, great background music, clean, tasty pints and an enthusiastic young landlord. Well done young man keep it up!

Very lucky to have such a great pub with fantastic food from fuse! Tried twice now with no issues whatsoever absolutely lush! Come and try for yourselves! You will not be disappointed!!

We had a meal out as a group and the food was very good quality although did take a while to arrive. Good pub and restaurant with a good atmosphere

Excellent village pub welcoming staf and a great range of on tap ale /largets,well worth a visit including the courtyard beer garden.

Sunday lunch; yorkshire pudding slightly burned, roast potatoes had an odd taste.

Been for pie and Parmo night a few times and they are delicious. Today we popped in for Sunday Lunch. We hadn’t booked but this wasn’t a problem, although I understand booking is recommended. We had our dog. Again, no problem. I wanted a pot of tea with my lunch….and got a great cuppa. My beef and my partners roast chicken were both delicious. Plate piled high with fresh veg….a good selection. Everything was lovely. I understand the choice of food is being extended and look forward to trying more. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch…but was sad I couldn’t manage a pudding!

Nipped in for a quiet drink. Very warm and welcoming to us even when we were the last customers.

Was a bit anxious to go in as it seems a very 'locals' pub but everyone was really friendly. They brought out treats for the dogs as well which was lovely.

Got the 3 meat roast for lunch today. 100% recommend. Generous portions, perfectly cooked, proper home cooked food. Very friendly staff and welcoming regulars

Just passing by but dropped in for Sunday lunch. A nice meal with a good selection of vehicles.

While out for a walk, we popped on for one drink, and asked about food? Their pies sounded good, so we tried them. 😁 "Desperate Dan" would have been over the moon with these pies! 😉 So we stayed for three "rounds" instead of one drink. The staff here are remarkably welcoming. 👍

Loved this place, everyone so welcoming and friendly, chatted away with the locals. The food is fabulous all freshly cooked home made. We had the pie on the saturday and went back on sunday for the roast. All fabulous, highly recommend

A beautiful pub in idyllic surroundings coupled with a landlord/lady team who literally can’t do enough to please their customers,its a winning combination,first time we’ve been in today and they made us feel so welcome.The food was freshly cooked and delicious(we are still stuffed😁)the beer was exceptional and we felt like we were at home.Top marks,we will be back soon,keep up the good work👍👍👍

Pretty from outside but inside is dreary and dated. More flies in the light shades than customers. The barmaids language like a builder. Not a place you'd take your Granny.

Looks lovely from outside, nicely planted, however very run down inside. Does not do any food that I could tell. Does allow dogs. Not really a pub to take the family.

Fantastic pub nice n cozy, also has a pool room and gaming machines, the local company always makes me laugh
