I love this bar ..nice and traditional...cheaper than most...not at all rowdy ..footballs on ..cricket is on ..super dog friendly 👏👏👏

1st time in a long time that I visited the Cricketers, good clientele and a good pint, I will be back.

Best pub in the local area. Lovely staff, well priced and a good atmosphere. It only serves pub snacks rather than full meals - but that is the only drawback.

Best pub around, especially with me living only a couple of minutes away. Friendly manager and staff, plenty of choice and low prices. What more could you want?

A pub that serves alcoholic beverages and no food. What breath of fresh air. No menu with fresh locally sourced ingredients. I was delighted. Great little bar in a great location. I had some shipyard IPA. Then rum to follow.

Nice, clean friendly local pub, just off the cycle route and walking path with a great view of the river Tyne.

Used go here every Friday night but haven't been here for years (for no apparent reason). Hasn't changed much. Full of locals and just a nice place to go for a beer

Not just your local pub, it's a family pub... With an outdoor garden sun catch, and a view. There are bands playing, open mic nights, darts club, pool club, quiz nights and other such social events. It's friendly, and located in Bill Quay... A place for a nice day out. The Cricketers arms is located near the award winning farm and Riverside park.

Canny.bar, great views of the Tyne, guiness was good

It's a lovely little traditional pub. Tucked away just up from the Bill Quay and overlooking Hebburn riverside Park, one of south tynesides hidden gems. Been off the booze for the moment I had a bottle of non alcoholic wolfsteineir(?) I think you call it and it didn't disappoint. My only criticism is the hill it's on which could be a struggle for older customers. It's unfortunate that they don't do Sunday dinners or even toasties, something like that. There's a nice Italian in pelaw though so I suppose you could always start there first then travel round. If it did do meals then it would be perfect 👍

Can't believe you have to book table and can't take your dog now, not even allowed to sit outside, what a waste of tables and income that is needed can't see this place staying open long. Going to the wardley now dogs allowed and plenty of seats outside if needed

Great little pub. Drinks are really reasonable. Friendly welcome for everyone, including dogs. Excellent seating area outside.

Nice to see how it's become a local pub once more, good staff, nice feeling when you walk in. First went to this pub late 60s when two old ladies ran it, bare floorboards with sawdust on and spitoons at the corner of the bar. After it was taken over and modernised they tried to make it a yuppie wine bar at one time, well it's gone full circle to the locals local, health and safety won't allow some of the original features.

Great if you want a quiet time no atmosphere 6 people in on a Saturday night at 9 o'clock. Music kept low from juke box don't waste ya pennies.

Although most pubs are not designed for bands tonight's band are very good. Dead man's shoes. Two talented young men.

Friendly pub, near the river, lovely view of the River Tyne from inside and outside the pub. Owner keeps drinks prices competitive. Excellent Dog Groomers upstairs, you can sit and have a chat and a beer or 2 while having your dog/dogs groomed. Prices also competitive🙂

Met the owner who serves a great pint, Michael. He gave us a good run down of the history surrounding The Cricketers Arms. Nice friendly atmosphere, with live bands playing there regularly, during the week.

Good for a quiet drink. I'll return
