We have the pleasure of using the private function room for our paint nites, it's perfect for us, great friendly owners and staff.

Been to the karaoke night a few times. Deffo recommend.

Popped in for pre match (LCFC) drink , great service decent prices , big screens for the sports !

Nice little pub ....nice staff and clean but landlady disagreed with my private conversation with another customer and asked me to leave..i had no problem leaving as she was very rude, but still a nice pub

We were chased away by dogs. We went there to watch afcon finals, but they chased us away by dogs. They acted racism on us.

Rude is not the word asked for a lager and lime and got lager top (lemonade) when I asked to change got a oh she can't drink it because a bit of lemonade in it that's cost us £2 but don't worry lost a grand last night? Just pour the drink right then if u don't want to waste £2 which obviously isn't the cost!?

Extremely hospitable landlord Ben and landlady Sheldon! We visited the Cricketers for a drink prior to the Tom Jones concert, so it was very busy indeed. However landlord Ben served us with a friendly smile and still made the effort to make pleasant chit chat with myself and my husband. After walking out of the concert because of the ridiculous queue time of over an hour to get a drink, we decided to return to the Cricketers for a drink to decide on our next steps. Landlord Ben served us again, and we shared how disappointed we were about the queueing at the concert. Ben then suggested something that has to be the most random act of kindest that has ever been presented to us by a virtual stranger! Ben told us that he had a function room upstairs that has a balcony overlooking the concert. That there were people already up there that he had sold tickets to, and we could go up to join them! We were absolutely gobsmacked that someone could do something so kind that they really didn't need to! We of course offered to pay but Ben would not hear of it. He asked the lovely landlady Sheldon to take us upstairs, where she took the time to introduce us to everyone, most of whom were Cricketers regulars, and who then welcomed us with open arms. Never have we received such a warm welcome from pub regulars! We were so overwhelmed by what Ben and Sheldon did for us, and we really can't thank them or the Cricketers regulars enough for what turned out to be a truly memorable experience. If you receive half the welcome from everyone that we did at The Cricketers, you will most certainly be returning! PS. Shout out to Jo who took one for the team that evening by working the bar upstairs,even though she had bought a ticket herself to watch the concert from the balcony!

Parked nearby and had a beer here prior to Leicester City v Newcastle United. Popular with locals, there's was a choice of 2 real ales. 10 - 15 minute walk to the football stadium, 20 - 25 to Leicester tigers and 1 minute walk to grace road cricket ground. I will visit again on my next trip to Leicester.

I play pool for the cricks Thursday night our team members don't usually drink at this pub but we're welcomed with open arms by both Sheldi and Ben the landlords. Karaoke is also in play on a Thursday night in the lounge which makes for quite some lively night😁😁

I did not know what to expect from this pub, as i'd never been before. I was invited by a friend so, decided to travel over from "Derby to Leicester", to their karaoke. I was pleasantly surprised it was a lovely place, staff were friendly, &, helpful, as were the customers. Had a great time singing a few songs, before travelling back via coach, later on the night of going. Will go back their in the future.

Popped in for a drink just before Christmas not realising that you had to register your car number - just got a parking charge notice for £60 - £100 - expensive drink definitely won't be back

We hired the room up stairs for our wedding reception last year, Stacey was brilliant she talked us through all of our options food, colour schemes, searing arrangements. She emailed me regularly to make sure everything was okay, we had a lovely night and the room was decorated perfectly and all of my guests commented on how lovely the food was. Thank you stacey and the staff at the cricketers 😀

Management seem to ignore the loud and bad language which is regular, particularly on Sundays.

Atmosphere has changed since new owner. Quite 'lairy', especially for a week night and not relaxing. Bar staff very pleasant though.

The Cricketers is our local pub , just down the road, it's a lovely place , very friendly , the staff treat myself & my Partner like friends , the food is great , really good value & the location is amazing , the balcony overlooking the Grace Road Cricket ground has a fantastic South facing perspective where we always have lunch in the Summer, great pub :)

Hired the balcony suite for a party, nice venue for up to around 40 to 50 people, just been decorated so looking very clean and fresh. Bar had a good selection and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub provided food for our guests and it was also very good, well presented and plenty of variety and quantity.

An absolutely fantastic friendly Pub my best mate has to use a Zimmer frame and the Bar staff opened a special door for us meals are great value where else would you get 2 lots of Fish and chips mushy peas for £10.00 100% well go again

If you like pool you will enjoy your self

The food is reasonably priced and the food looks and tastes good. Credit to the chef and waitresses. They were really polite and nice to talk to. The drinks are pretty expensive £3.65 for a fosters and £2 for half a pint of coke, but then I think it's an average price around all Everards pubs. The place is clean and tidy it's has a lounge area with 2 pool tables and a juke box. The bar area has tv's for live sport etc and a decent sized outdoor seating area with a kids play area. The bar staff are all nice and cheerful. Overall a great pub.

Great nite as always, entertainment every sat nite it seems whether it's a group/karaoke but it's the lovely punter who are just letting their hair down + have good old time. Love it when people are enjoying themselves.

Beer was good , but got there at 1430 and too late for food. There was 3 of us starving. Even the regulars watching the cricket, said they a bit peckish for a bowl of chips.

I went on a Thursday afternoon with a friend while his car was being serviced lovely place I've been here many times with my family for Sunday lunch it has changed a bit since then was not too busy in the bar area but there is a main area if you go straight on from the entrance but we were in the small bar area on the left which houses a pool table jukebox and plenty of seating nice place not too far from main roads typically enjoyed in summertime when you can sit outside

Great local pub, good beer, often a good band on. Take a rest from these screens and go to a real Leicester pub.

There's can area for families, and an area for people hoping to escape children. Bar staff are awesome. The guy that owns it, whilst friendly to everyone, despises me. Though most people despise me so I wouldn't read too much into that. Perfect place to get leathered if you're in town to catch a cricket match as they have a balcony overlooking the ground. Love that place.
