The Courtyard Coffee House in South Northamptonshire

We were passing through and needed a coffee, found this hidden gem at the rear of courtyard mews shops in main Street. Welcoming, good value, all fresh cooked, no fast food. Recommend milk shakes and bubble , eggs and bacon.

My Mom and I visit regularly. Normally breakfast time. 10/10 for cleanliness, friendly welcoming service, atmosphere, location and of course, the most heavenly freshly prepared breakfasts. You can “create” your own breakfast from numerous items or go for the full Vegetarian or English. Words fail me on how delicious everything is. The menu choice for drinks, light or main lunch meals is also outstanding. We do a 16 mile round trip for the privilege, so that’s proof in itself. And very, very good value for money. We’ve never been disappointed once. The warm welcome and food are always consistent. And that’s a rarity nowadays with most eating establishments.

I've rediscovered this little gem of a place hidden off the main high st by the Town Hall. Think it's had a change of owners since I last visited a good few years back...... to it's advantage I might add! I've taken my young children here for a treat on a Saturday morning for breakfast a few times now and it's never disappointed. Well worth a visit even if it's just for a cuppa a slice of rather lovely cake.

First visit, lured in by the wonderful aroma of bacon being cooked. Ordered a bacon sandwich in 'granary' with a cup of coffee. Really pleasant lady who served me made me feel very welcome. Sat down and read one of the newspapers available, coffee then served with the bacon sandwich following shortly after. Probably the best bacon sandwich I've ever tasted ! Honestly. What a refreshing experience for just a coffee and a sandwich. Thank you.

Been going here for breakfast , always freshly cooked and tasty and friendly and helpful staff....will be going back again

I have been a regular customer for several months, mainly having breakfast. Mel and Kevin are friendly and happy to see you,they have created a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The food is Amazing,food is very good quality,well presented and tastes delicious. There is a great breakfast menu,you can build your own. there are local newspapers and a book exchange. The sofas are super comfy and plenty of tables and chairs. It can get busy but worth the wait. There is an outside area which is nice to catch the sun,also a water bowl for any four legged visitors. I highly recommend a visit!

Good food, great in the summer in the afternoon with it’s sunlit veranda. Friendly staff. Check it out! Support your local independent restaurants.

Another lovely lunch at the Courtyard. Freshly made flan with salad. I love their salad as they are not the usual lettuce, tomato and cucumber. They have home made potato wedges, roasted veg, coleslaw and beetroot. So nice and very reasonably priced. Out of all the cafes in Brackley, this is definitely my favourite. I have yet to try the cakes as always been too full with the salad.

Been twice now on a recommendation. Lovely freshly cooked quiche and lovely side salad. Portions are big so go when hungry. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be back.

if I could live here I would ! The best coffee , the best doorstep bacon sarnie! The omelettes are amazing I am yet to have anything that is even slightly below par! Very warm and welcoming everything's cooked fresh and you can tell! It doesn't cost a fortune and is so Down to earth

Met with some friends that I had not seen in 40 years on a busy Friday morning. We were allowed to sit and visit without constant interruptions from the staff place was clean coffee was very good seating was comfortable and we had a lovely visit I will be back next time I am in Brackley
