great pub, amazing entertainment every weekend, atmosphere and other customers are like no other, the managers and staff are extremely helpful.

Tried the beef and pork sticks for the first time yesterday since they brought them back and I've got to say they were amazing. The fact that I could pre order them and pick them up at our convenience was great due to being in work myself. I've also got to add we frequent the pub on a regular basis as a family and the staff, entertainment and atmosphere are always great. Well done Kate, Meg and Ness. Can't wait for my food next week.

Beef sticks and the roasts are amazing glad they are back. Nice to have a cob aswell if I want a snack. After so many years, staff and management are outstanding and polite fast works glad to see the pub back definitely be coming back. The entertainment is wonderful every week right laugh.

Not like the old days I found the renting out other room which was completely empty... Well a few were there. Miss the old vibe don't feel the same. 😐

For the first time in years this pub has its old style pub feel back. Somewhere you can go have a drink, a chat and not feel overwhelmed, even though it was plenty full new years day when me and my sister popped in for a couple. Massive well done to the new managers for bringing it back to life 👍

Popped in for a pint and a cob, there was no food available but we enjoyed our pint and the barman was lovely and friendly and will definitely be returning.

Stopped off for a quick drink on our way back home, this pub was closed for a while, but I'm glad to see it back open, plenty of people out enjoying themselves, which is nice to see.

Proper pub, new gaffer so no food yet, great dart boards.

Barmaid could have seemed a little happier, , atmosphere more for sport with big screens .

Haven't tried the food yet but Sunday afternoon karaoke was class .. prices good too 👍

I witnessed said pie, and agree with the County reply, Aunty needs to wind her neck in, gutted that they didn’t have any meat and potato pies left!

Went in her about 25 years ago ,and I don't think it's been decorated since the last time I was in , friendly bunch ,not a good choice of ale's.

A bit rough and ready, no locks on toilet doors, fella serving behind bar was in dirty work clothes, not the best

A typical town pub with very little atmosphere. We went on a ghost hunt and some staff joined in and were making fun of some of the guests leaving everyone feeling uncomfortable. The ghost hunt itself was excellently organised and the buffet which was included in the price was lovely. Wouldn't go there again. People seem too cliquey for my liking.

Shadow of its former self. Rarely has real ale. Food used to be an attraction. But not so much now.

The County pub seems to be a pub which seems to be a established that has been in willenhall for a long long time, many other pubs have come and gone but this pub remains. Recently it has been taken over by new management and the people who own it now also own anther pub called The Old Engine. Iv spoken to the new owner's son and he tells me as the kitchen at the County is run on electric and not gas they will not be offering the full mixed grill menu, but if you do still want food they will order it in from there other pub and have it delivered to this pub. The new owner's son also said may be in the future depending on trade they may build a add on to supply hot meaty food. The pub has to entrances one is a lounge and the other bar area with a pool table. Week days are quite but as iv not been on a week end i can't remark but all in all it seems like a nice friendly place and I might even make it my new local

We have come to the County again for Sunday dinner it was really tasty and excellent value for money for those of you who are reading this review, you dont know what your missing and kam and Laura are lovely welcoming people. You have got to come and share this experience.

Just wondered why the previous anonymous reviewer thought we had ruined the pub. Perhaps they don't like the fact that it's actually open, serves great food and the quality of beer has been recognised by being in camra good beer guide for the first time in the pubs history. But then unlike anonymous I'm clearly biased

Tried the Sunday lunch, 2 courses. Really nice Beef and partners Lamb very tender. Lovely pudding,great service and a knockout of a waitress. Great value for money.

Myself & my girlfriend visited here for a Thai food night. We got to the pub a little early for our booking so decided on a drink and game of pool to pass the time. The person who served us was very polite, a female around 20 years old, She interacted well with us and made us feel very welcome. Food:- The food was "top notch" could not fault it. Again served by the 'now rushed off her feet' female who still continued her smile and welcoming manner. This was our first visit to this pub and were made welcome by everyone 'even the locals' exept the land lady, who entered and gave a "i dont know you, why you in my pub look". Why?
