Harvester George Stephenson in Walsall

Disappointing. I understand it’s Christmas Eve, but the staff were not very friendly or approachable felt more like an inconvenience us being here as customers. Food service was slow and constantly had to find a member of staff to chase order. The soft play has been unsupervised only customers in the building. We tried to use our blue light discount point card and was refused, as QR code was required. When we downloaded the app we were told nothing they could do as we already paid. You can’t purchase refillable drinks in the soft play area and informed to order individual drinks on the app. Overall we wouldn’t return here and would not recommend to others.

Christine was really helpful, I am both gluten intolerant and vegetarian and she made sure I had plenty to eat. Went for meal with work colleagues

Booked this for my autistic sons 6th birthday 14/12/2024 at 2pm. Absolutely amazing the staff were great really friendly and welcoming and made his birthday party special. Made sure he was having fun and if everything was OK. Really recommend this place and we are booking for our daughters birthday in May. I can't remember the 2 ladies names who worked this day but they were absolutely fantastic. Even asked if my son wanted to blow his candles out instead of just assuming he would.

Second year running I've had my little ones party here. I would definitely recommend. Great value for money. The food is tasty and good size portions even for bigger kids. The goody bags at the end are fab, takes the stress away from doing your own. They also provide a cake which is very tasty cake and again stops you having to think about it. Charlotte and Aimee are great, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Thanks ladies!

We went today for breakfast with Santa and it was fantastic. The staff were amazing service quick and they had the best Santa we have ever met. He was brilliant with the kids engaging with them and listened to them. We didn't feel rushed which we have done at other places. We will be booking for next year without doubt

Hi just leaving review for fuzzy ed for Charlotte she was really welcoming I will be coming again this week

We've visited tonight and although the restaurant was busy, amie our server was absolutely brilliant! Nothing was too much for her even though she was run off her feet. Shes a credit to the company and food cooked by jay was perfect!

Unfortunately our visit wasn’t one to be happy over. The service we received was not good. We were seated by a lady with blue hair, she taken our order and said she will be back with our salad bowls. 15 minutes later we still hadn’t received them and she also wasn’t around to ask. We had to ask for some bowls ourself at the bar. The lady with blue hair was no where to be seen for at least an hour so if we hadn’t of asked we would not have been given them. The place was very quiet with less than 5 tables taken so there should be no reason as to why service was slow.

Visited today with my kids and, staff member charlotte was so pleasant, service was brilliant and definitely will return.

I took my children here today at fuzzys the wacky bit Charlotte was so welcoming and well mannered made my children feel safe and happy when they was there if anyone wants to go there ask for Charlotte she's amazing wowan ❤️

Food is quite good, price just half a notch higher than pubs around, but... there are days when service is 10 stars and days when it's just missing...

The portion sizes have shrank so left still feeling hungry, the southern fried chicken quality itself has declined immensely. The 25% app offer was only applied to 2 of the 4 dishes. Not good for spending £70.

Absolutely delicious meal with amazing service. Popped in here for my lunch as I had finished work early. I work for the same company and I have to Admit these staff put their company in great stead cheerful joyful staff very fast food service love the idea of the salad bar that is amazing! I have the salad, chargill chicken flatbread then followed with the fudge cake all courses were amazing and fully tasteful! Will be returning again! Love it here👍🏼

Had a lovely experience tonight, at the Harvester. Me and a large group of friends and children had dinner at this restaurant, for a birthday occasion. Even though we did not book in advance, the service was excellent and all our needs were fulfilled. Charlotte, the member of the staff, ensured that everything was fine for us and delivered a good service. Overall, happy customers and happy team, too. Recommend.

Me and my family love coming to visit the harvester me and my husband visit every couple weeks and the food is always wonderful and the service is usually really good and the servers are friendly and attentive.

We had a evening meal for 23 of us on wednesday and the service was great , food was lovely too . Everyone enjoyed their meals and there service was great too , chefs was dan ,phil and haz and our servers were beth , chloe and ben . They also catered for one gluten free and they was very good explaining and keeping the food away from everyone elses , come with allergen flags on too . Would 100% recommend to others . We look forward to coming back

Didn't appear that busy when we arrived at 6.45pm. There was nothing available of the grill menu apart from the gammon stake because apparently they didn't have enough produce. Quiet a few other items were also out of stock, which for a place like this was a dissapoitment. We ordered of the available menu and even though it wasnt that busy we waited for an hour for our food to arrive. Food itself was OK, but the portions were very small, only few chips, peas and sweetcorn, which for the price of the meals was a dissapointment. Needs improvement.

The host Amie was lovely and welcoming a lovely warm and inviting person to be taking you to your table interacted with us and our children making sure we was all settled in couldn’t of asked for a nicer manager on shift thank you aime!

The food was good and the service from Vicki was exceptionally good.

Salad bar full of brown lettuce and empty containers, bread was left empty throughout the visit. Service initially good but left with empty glasses after the first. Food didn’t come as requested for 2 out of 4 but accepted anyway. Half the fish was cold, parts of the pork belly missing. No cutlery, salt sachets like a burger van, sauces empty, no serviettes. 3 out of 4 of us had poorly stomachs for 24 hrs after

I'd recommend the chicken and chips. I enjoyed it so much. I went back 2nd time and had the same dish in a week 😋

We had a lovely meal at the Harvester. Dom really took great care of us as we were a family of 10 and was very diligent with my children's nut allergies too. The food was great value and an enjoyable meal was had by all. Thank you to the whole Harvester team.

Excellent meal very good choices on the menu. The staff were all polite and friendly. We have been back a few times now and the food and the service is never disappointed us.

Me and my partner come for breakfast, the service was exceptional and 100% recommend to everyone. My server was called dom and Amie and the chefs that cooked out food is called kaz and jack. These are an asset to the team

The staff were really friendly and we would love to thank the waitress with blue hair for taking care of us and getting toys to distract our 1 year old. He rarely takes to new people so quickly. Also the food was nice and great value.

The pub and staff are nice.Salads bar: great.A bit pricey on the mains.Last time we had ribs which were below par: the sauce was burnt on and so was the cornbread.Very dry and think airfried.Camembert tart and steak on prior visit were great!

Absolutely fantastic, Both of us had Ribeye steak and were cooked perfectly, Beef dripping gravy too. Will definitely will be going back.

Don’t expect ordering drinks online to work. Two times out of two I failed to get my drinks. Waiting for drinks up the bar isn’t no quicker. Even on a quiet day, expect to wait. (Didn’t eat on this occasion)

Went for lunch today. Big choice of food. Very clean and smart decor inside. Christine was our server, who was so friendly and made our visit fun. All the meals came out hot. However, I did have an issue with my main meal. Christine acted on it instantly, and her partner Dom made sure it was corrected straight away. Thanks to the both of you.
