The Cottage in East Riding of Yorkshire

Really tasty food, but you need to be very hungry! Had the oven-baked meatballs for a starter which were lovely but, to be honest, were more than enough for a main! The Penne Inferno Marinara was another delight, cooked to perfection but again, rather too much of it and have to leave some (which I really don't like doing). Shame Peroni not available on draught anymore, but great to see Liqueurs like Drambuie available. The waiter was rather quiet at first, but he livened up and got more chatty as the evening ensured. So, overall, please keep up the quality but reduce the portion size would be our advice.

DO NOT order from here. Their attitude is absolutely disgusting. First time ordering on Uber eats delivery from here. The whole experience was atrocious. The delivery was an hour and 20 minutes late. I phoned to ask where it was and got an aggressive response and when I phoned again when it was finally delivered by their own delivery driver who also had attitude. I rang back again to complain about the late delivery and the delivery driver and got a whole lot more abuse. We’ve never ever had such appalling service or such rude treatment from any delivery takeaway service ever. The person from Uppercrust just shouted at me down the phone, no attempt at an apology or anything resembling one! Unbelievable. Just to top it all the food was cold and tasteless and looked unappealing. There are far and away better takeaways in Beverley with nice , polite service. On time deliveries and great food. NOT HERE THOUGH.

Don't order, driver was awful had the wrong place told me to hurry up so was waiting for him, and the food was awful.

Very small portion for the price they charge...i suppose the small portion didnt really matter as it was un edible anyway! Cold, dry chips and horrible wet soggy batter. Sorry Stuarts you need to do better!!

Ordered from here for the first time just recently and it was brilliant!!! Delivery was rapid (and the delivery driver was very pleasant), the food was hot and tasted absolutely amazing. This is my new go to spot and will be ordering from here a lot more.
