Not a tea room. Just a basic cafe. Coffee was awful. Tea served in a mug. Cakes under glass domes looked like they'd been there for a week. Shabby decor. Service mediocre

Popped in while on holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information on where to get a nessie toy for my son. The tea was lovely and hot. Had the lemon meringue pie and is one of the best I have tasted. My husband had the breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. If we come back to Ayr I would definitely visit again and recommend to any family or friends that might visit

A long standing and much loved cafe in the town centre, up the Kirkgate. Whether its a cup of tea and a scone or a full breakfast or even a full lunch (I recommend the chicken supreme toastie), it is always beautfully cooked and prepared. The owner and staff are always friendly and chatty. The cafe has a well maintained and clean small toilet.

We stumbled across the totally cute cafe after many attempts elsewhere but so pleased we found this little gem. The service was so friendly and our plates were clean. After a delicious lunch. The scottish decor was perfect. We’d highly recommend.

One of the best Tearooms in Ayr Town, just next to the Auld Kirk of Ayr built by Oliver Cromwell. The restraunt is great for tea or a beautiful fat free morning fryup breakfast. Warm and friendly to all, the tearoom is a great nook to stop off at! Reasonably priced and good quality!

A bit out of the way next to the Auld Kirk lychgate. Small and seems to have a regular and older clientele with a menu tailored to their needs and good bargain combos. Comfortable with several seats at each tables. Prices were good and the food tasty in reasonable portions. Quaint internal and external decor. Beware they don't tell you but - it's cash only although they probably accept cheques!

A nice little cafe with friendly staff. Had a small beef burger which was very nice. The sandwich my friend had was also very nice. The prices very reasonable. The only complain was they only serve cups of tea not pots.

Popped in for a bite to eat while in town. Not many free tables as this tea room is always quite busy.We had Lentil Soup, Toastie, Mince Roll, Cheesecake, Coffee and Tea. All lovely. My wife especially liked the Cheesecake. All the food is home made and delicious. We are making this a regular stop when in town. I can thoroughly recommend this tea room.

This looked a good place for lunch but as there was a steep step I popped in to ask if they had wheelchair access as my son is a wheelchair user. the owner? told me disabled people in wheelchairs had no problems getting inside and, no, she didn't have a ramp. I walked out and she followed me into the street shouting at me that wheelchairs had no problem getting inside. How did she expect my son to negotiate a steep step in his electric wheelchair? He is unable to walk at all. The woman was generally abusive and we beat a hasty retreat while she stood outside shouting at us. I cannot vouch for the food as we couldn't get in but the woman deserves no customers.

Hidden out of the way up the Kirkport. My wife and Mother-in-Law took me here, against their better judgement they said! At first I felt it was a bit 'twee' but I was wrong. Soups are very good, food simple but tasty and filling. Staff very nice (and chatty) and attentive. Excellent value for money.

I visited the Cosy Corner with my partner, father & 9 month old baby. We were greeted warmly and were served with a lovely cooked breakfast each. The lady who ran the tea rooms took time out of her busy kitchen to come out front and chat with us for a few minutes. To be honest, if I ran an establishment as fine as this I would want to meet every customer! It was an absolute pleasure to dine there.

Went here for breakfast, before getting the train. After checking out previous reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. Good food, freshly cooked to order. Staff are also willing to swap if you don't like certain items. Only thing I didn't like was, the toast comes buttered. Friendly staff & decent price. Will definitely visit again.

This is a real hidden gem. Set off the beaten track it takes a bit more effort that some of the more bouge cafes in Troon, but if you're looking for honest food and a fair price in a cafe you can get a seat in....its well worth the extra 3 min walk.

Went here with some friends after working up an appetite swimming. Food was absolutely stellar and all staff gave an excellent service with a smile. Great range of food and very accommodating to dietary needs, it can be a struggle to find somewhere with as many options for dairy/gluten free diets. 10/10 will definitely be back regularly.

Thought it would be a quick stop en route to the ferry but shivered for 20 minutes in the car park for our breakfast rolls. Square sliced and onions tasty enough but (instant ) coffee was rank. Never again.
