Dog friendly! Went with my mum & our dog was made very welcome inside. Love the decor and there's plenty of seating upstairs and down. Friendly staff & although it was lunchtime we were able to pick an Ulster fry off the breakfast menu which they allow if not too busy. We were lucky to get parked right outside. Great wee spot for lunch.

Nice surroundings, staff just ok!!!! food came quickly and was tasty but will not return, as could not justify that price for lunch, well over priced a chicken wrap for £9.00 then a side of fries if required £3.75!!!! Place was empty and tbh I thought to myself no wonder, at those prices, wrap to include fries would normally be £9.00 anywhere else, but for a cafe in Glengormley with so many competitors the pricing is just ridiculous in my opinion. No daily specials also, maybe this is something for the Ower to look at, and maybe more local people would support this small business. Will not return.

We called in here on our way back from a hospital appointment and it was the first visit for both of us. The place was very clean and the staff were lovely. We had the chicken fillet burger, chicken pesto toastie and a side order of fries. The portions were generous, we could have done without the fries. All the food was delicious. The only downside is that the cafe closes very early, otherwise we would be going to dinner with friends there.

Coffee was outstanding, indoor interior was stunning credit to the owner for her creativity! And most of all the food, I was told to try the satay chicken burger and oh my goodness… also, the protein balls are just as good as they look, wide range of flavours and types to choose from. if your ever looking a resturant, coffee house or deli to go to go here. Massive thanks to Leanne and Simone in the big house for their incredibly service.

I used to visit here all the time & found it very allergy friendly. Now not so much, beautiful place just overpriced a tad, £8 for a salad with not much in is abit steep.

I have been to the Corner House four or five times and keep going back for several reasons: The staff are friendly and very helpful which is always a bonus when bringing young kids. They always have time for a friendly chat and can't do enough to help. The food is so tasty. The breakfast isn't greasy, but fresh and delicious. The thick pancakes with caramel sauce are the best I've ever tasted. The place is clean, bright with lovely decor. You feel relaxed and never rushed. I will return here again and again.

Food was good. The writing on the menu is way too small I found it difficult to read. Also expensive for what we had. I think if the prices were adjusted I would return.

Really wanted this place to be good but unfortunately it was a let down. There are positives - nice clean and bright inside. No real issues with service. Decent enough menu. No complaints with the food received. Now the not so good...there at 1pm and after ordering waitress had to come back to let us know something was no longer available...seemed a bit early to be sold out. Definitely overpriced - £7-£8 for a sandwich or a burger not including sides, I can get a really good 2 course lunch with sides in Belfast for £9...Facebook page suggests breakfast options are available all day - not made available to us. By the time the side order arrived we had almost finished eating. All in all a disappointing, not to be repeated experience.

Have just returned from a very disappointing experience at the corner house. This was my second visit. First visit a few weeks ago for breakfast was lovely and have recommended the corner house to friends (regrettably) today, i was with my daughter who ordered buffalo wings and halloumi fries which were fine. My lunch however was awful. I ordered a chicken pitta with salad and sweet potato fries. The pitta was £6 and £3 for the fries. All a bit overpriced but the real worrying problem was the temperature of the chicken. I started eating it and the (previously cooked and quite dry) chicken was tepid in some pieces and cold in others. I told the waitress and she took my food away to "get it sorted" she brought it back a few minutes later and it seemed warmer on the top however, when i got further into it there were a few pieces of stone cold chicken. At this point I decided it wasn't a good idea to eat any more of my lunch and I certainly wasn't going to send it back a second time. I was very disappointed as my lunch was ruined. My daughter finished hers and I brought the half of my uneaten lunch to the till. I couldn't believe what happened next! I told the waitress at the till that my chicken was still cold in places and I was unable to finish my lunch. She took the plate away and said she was going to find the chef. A few minutes later the chef arrived with a temperature probe in her hand and argued with me that she used the probe on my chicken when she reheated it and wanted to check it again which was ridiculous as it would have made no difference half an hour later. Then she said "things get cold sitting in that kitchen" I was horrified at that comment. She asked what I wanted her to do and I said I felt that as i'd only eaten half that I should pay for half which is more than fair in my opinion. The chef then called the waitress over and wanted to see my plate to see how much I had eaten. The waitress confirmed that I'd only eaten half. The chef then told me it was a small business and she couldn't authorise a reduction in my bill and I would need to speak to the owner who wasn't there. The waitress then appeared and said she would take the cost of the side off the bill which was £3. There was another lady waiting at the till to pay throughout this whole farce and I have never been so embarrassed and made to feel like a nuisance. Any other decent eating place would have been embarrassed and apologetic about serving underheated food and from a previous review, I see that this is a recurring theme at the corner house. Needs to be addressed urgently before someone gets food poisoning and the staff attitude needs some work too. Definitely won't be back which is a shame.

We went here for dinner last night for the first time, 9 November, and enjoyed a lovely presentation of excellent food. This old building has recently been transformed into a beautiful place both inside and outside, a credit to the proprietors.

Wow, where do i even start singing this amazing place praises, from my initial contact with Laurie to my daughters 18th there last weekend, her customer service is 2nd to none. Her staff are incredible, so helpful, so nice and cant do enough for you. If you have thoughts of needing a venue for hire please look no further. Thank you so so much. Michael & Mia.

Lovely Garden Centre, but I found the Coffee Shop very expensive. I paid almost £33 for 2 Toasted Sandwiches, one Traybake and 4 coffees. Very average and very poor value.

Simply a basic cafe inside a DIY store. Helps if you need a snack to keep you going. Staff pleasant - selection limited as you would expect.
