The Copper Top in Falkirk

Lunch menu is decent with traditional pub sort of dishes. Macaroni cheese was the nicest I've had in falkirk.

This has been the only place that I have had such a delicious 2 course meal .plus my other companions thought the same .great staff and great food what more do you want.

Best meal ever, excellent portion size and amazing service. We had starters and a main meal but I wish I only got a main and a sweet as they look amazing. Was lovey atmosphere and light music in the background, staff check up on us all the time and were very helpful. Thanks so much!!

Not a bad restaurant at all, worth a visit, but tight on the veg portion size and the food was instantly out then instantly out and instantly gone again, the atmosphere is quite bland, reminds me of somewhere I might have eaten as a kid (I'm 44 now)

Really lovely food and great service, getting to like it more after every visit, always leave very satisfied. Update, now one of my favourite places, the 10oz rump steak is THE best in the area. The Biscoff Sunday is awesome! Been going here for many years and seen many owners, it is now the best it's ever been!

1st time here and would happily come back. I had the mixed grill, loads of it and tasted good. The Mrs had the soup and small Mac n cheese and enjoyed it. Grandson had chicken nuggets followed by chocolate ice cream and loved it

Travelling to Scotland for 20 years now, and at the Copper Top I probably had the best steak pie I ever had. So delicious that I forgot to take a picture of it, but the cup of coffee afterwards was equally rewarding! Recommended!

Disappointed with quality of food

Food is great, very tasty. Service was slow. We were through the back at the kitchen entrance. Just felt we were forgotten about. We were a group of 9 so we were not exactly inconspicuous.

Went for the copper top sandwich and hands down was one best sandwiches I ever had. Demolished it within 2 mins. Was gorgeous.

Excellent food. Staff friendly and service spot on. Spacious dinning area, didn't feel crowded or hurried in any way. Does meals for smaller appetites too. Was on a weekend visit to the area, if in the area again we will be back.

Group of 9 family members ate here on the way to our hotel. The menu has a good choice and also some daily specials which some of us had.All the portion sizes were quite big including the kids options.The Eton mess sundae was the biggest portion I've ever seen( couldn't finish it). All in all it was a very good meal and prices were reasonable too.

Family friendly restaurant serving hearty Scottish food with a smile. Plenty of local diners early on a Monday night. Staff were very allergy aware and able to cater with confidence for gluten and dairy allergy. Cajun chicken wasn't too spicy. Balmoral Stack (chicken and haggis) was pleasantly very peppery.

Had lovely family lunch in this restaurant today. It was amazing. A very friendly welcome from the staff,and their service was excelllent from Alex and Aimee . The food was excellent. Lentil soup ,beautiful,served piping hot as soup should be, the Stornoway black pudding fritters were amazing. The chicken ceaser salad was amazing served with lovely fries. The Mac and cheese was superb,as were all the other main courses. Do not hesitate to visit this restaurant,there is a car park immediately outside. A superb family restaurant.

Ate here for lunch and dinner over a couple of days, due to the restaurant at the Premier Inn being closed. Service and food were good. One member of staff looked miserable. Prices reasonable.

A lovely little venue serving typical pub classic type food with generous portions. The main negative on the day we visited was it was pretty cold inside and the staff said they couldn’t do anything about that as the owner has override on the heating system. The food was fresh and hot. Also recommend the Eton Mess sundae for desert 😉

Coppertop is a nice restaurant, the food is fine and the service good.

Really tasty food, we had chicken and haggis, and a mixed grill. Plenty of food on the plate.

Service was great and the halloumi burger was absolutely delicious, definitely try it if you’re a fan of halloumi. There were plenty of other options that looked good too.

Steak pie was absolutely delicious.

We were in Falkirk for 2 nights and receptionist at premier inn recommended the Coppertop. 4 minute walk from hotel and what a find. The food and staff were amazing. Sorry I didn’t get our waitress name on Friday night but she was amazing. We had booked somewhere else on Saturday night but cancelled and returned here as our experience had been so amazing. We had met Gemma on Friday night and she served us on Saturday - what a lovely lass. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. First class experience all round at fantastically reasonable prices.

Stopped in after the Rosebank distillery tour and had a very nice dinner. Had the Chicken Balmoral.

Visited with my parents and my 2 children. Fantastic place which looks unassuming from outside but is lovely inside. the staff were friendly but professional throughout. Very good variety on the menu, including lots of vegetarian options for me. It was really nice to have the smaller appetites options, for my Mum and who doesn't eat as much, and for my 11 year old who needs more than the kids menu but not as much as an adult meal. We had the halloumi burger, macaroni cheese, cajun chicken, fish and chips, and cheesy garlic bread. everything was well cooked and tasted delicious.

Don't be fooled by where it's located. It's a gem of a place to eat at. We're visiting the the area and trying the top recommended places, this is definitely one. Cheesy garlic bread as a side - best we've had yet. We had the copper top grill - we don't eat blackpudding and they were happy to swap that out all the meat was cooked just right, nothing dry. Pudding - Eaton mess and sticky toffee pudding. Superb. Staff were attentive but not overly so. And the perfect pint was poured too. Nothing to complain about.

We had our granddaughters 18th birthday meal there tonight and the staff bent over backwards to ensure we had a good time... they stepped up where the Abbotsinch failed...when we were trying to find a venue that could take 35 persons... would thoroughly recommend the Coppertop...

Very nice employees and delicious food. You get a lot for what you pay. Because it’s a family restaurant there may be some noise of children, but nothing too loud. The toilets were very sanitary and nice. Overall we were very satisfied!

We had a seafood plater to start, and this was excellent. Our mains were slightly dry, I think this was due to being left under a warming light for too long. Service was good, but the male server could have been a lot better. Nice surroundings, and I would go back.

Lovely place with great food and friendly staff. A little on the expensive side, however, it is worth every penny. Kids have decent options that are real food, not average chicken and chips. Enjoyed a lot and will be back.

I would say from the street this little gem looks like you might want to avoid but when you actually look closer and get inside your view will change. Very welcoming staff and simple nice looking atmosphere. Service was really quick and believe me the food is, how can I put this. Home cooked taste and feeling. Food is really nice and the prices are spot on also. As I said the staff are really welcoming which if you've never been in here before is a big positive. Never judge a book by the cover and you'll enjoy this wee gem like me and my family did. The picture shows just what I thought of the food. P.s. the platefuls are large so be prepared to eat till your full.

Been a long time since we had been here so thought it worth a try. Unfortunately not for me. Food wasn’t great. Good portion sizes and the meat in the steak pie was nice. That’s about the best I can say. The rest of the meal was poor quality and bland. Staff were ok and it’s a nice enough place to sit. I wouldn’t go back here again

Haven't been to the Copper Top for a long while but really enjoyed our meal tonight. It's a really nice pub / restaurant in Camelon, Falkirk. Traditional bar food done well at a decent price. The service was friendly and attentive and we will definitely be back soon.

Stumbled across this place on a barge holiday - the pub we were originally heading for was closed, but turns out it was all for the best. The food was great, with vegan and gluten free dishes clearly marked. The only thing better than the food was the service; friendly, funny Scottish hospitality at its best. Only thing I'd change is to offer a craft beer or two. But maybe thats just me being fussy!

We arrived on a Wednesday evening as a table of 8 without a reservation and a table was made up for us with no problem. The atmosphere was lovely. Menu had a good choice of starters, mains and light bites. Service was excellent. Food was tasty and dishes were very generous. I would recommend eating here.

I must say, this is one of my favourite restaurants in the area! The food always surpasses my expectations, the beverages are sublime, and the staff are so welcoming! The bathrooms are of excellent standard and you can tell they are maintained very well. The only issue is the atmosphere. Though warming and welcome, it can feel a little empty. Alas, it varies from person to person. We waited around 15-20 minutes for our food, which I find is around average for similar restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the Hunter’s chicken and Steak Pie, and will definitely be coming back again.

Went for a birthday dinner here and it was a great experience. Food was hot and delicious, didn't have to wait long. Decent prices, music was quiet and staff were friendly. Will be back during the summer. WAY better than the Beefeater across the road!!

On our first visit to Falkirk, this restaurant was recommended by a local and we really enjoyed our evening. The staff were welcoming and obliging, food was well presented and delicious, portions were very generous.

First time visiting tonight. Even though we have passed a million times. We weren’t sure what to expect but the food was genuinely lovely. Nothing fancy just tasty well made grub. The atmosphere was a bit lacking but i guess you just need to briny your own. We shall be back.

Didn’t enjoy my recent experience at the restaurant, waited what seemed a life time for food to arrive and when it did wasn’t upto the best of standards me personally I ordered a burger which was dry, my nephew ordered chicken Maryland I think and the chicken was as tough as anything the bottom of it was all soggy. We came here for what could be my sisters last family lunch as she has been diagnosed with terminal cancer but wasn’t impressed with the service at all.

Didn't have high expectations initially but was I wrong. Food was great....plenty flavour, enough of it and made on premises which made it best ever. Starters and mains were superb.....even wife couldn't find fault which is a first for her. Will be back for sure
