Really friendly staff. Great variety of cask ale on tap as well as other craft/lager. Nice interior as well as good sized pub garden which gets the afternoon sun. Food also of high standard.

Not been in for many years, but was really impressed. Live music, lots of space inside aswell as out. Great atmosphere and freindly staff. If you know beeston, no students either which is always a bonus.

Really nice pub, nice staff and good clientele. Only disappointment is the poor choice of ciders - only two mass produced ciders which is odd when so many real ales/ beers are on offer.

Our new local... Even though it's 40 mins walk, but so worth the effort/steps/calories... Eaten here many times, food is amazing everytime, even this mother's day, obviously mad busy, but attention to detail was still the same, an amazing Sunday lunch. Looking forward to it next visit... Tonight actually. 👍🏼😂

We attended a 70th Birthday party in the upstairs bar. We were greeted at the downstairs bar and given directions, which was very helpful. The buffet was a mix of hot and cold, which was great and very nice. A good selection of beers with an even larger selection downstairs in the main bar. We had a great night - Thanks

Average food for average price. We had the fish and chips x 2 plus bottle of wine for £40. But dog friendly so a plus!

Lovely, welcoming pub for a family Xmas meal, including young children. The food was delicious and we were impressed by the vegan options especially. Only flaw was a lack of non-dairy milk, taking white teas and coffees off the menu for some of our party, which felt like an oversight. Would highly recommend all the same and will definitely come back

Fab food, great ambience and lots of choice. Pleaee can you add a vegan/dairy free dessert so I've no excuse to leave! Something very wrong when your dinner order gets completely forgotten about...

Good pub / restaurant with wide choice of well-kept real ales. Tapas menu and pizzas are excellent. The quiz night on a Thursday is a favourite.

Definitely recommend going earlier rather than later on a Sunday 😂 Food good though which is the important thing. The online menu mentioned chicken but once there, we only saw turkey on the festive menu so our daughter didn't really eat anything. Good value.

We decided on The Commercial Inn for a ‘Sisters’ get together. We decided on the Tapas for starters, wow that was amazing. For main we had a range on pizza, dirty fried, salad etc. All really good value for money. Staff were really friendly. Entertainment was brilliant. A fab night had by all of us.

A good pub for drinks and food, at lunch or dinner - there's enough choice to satisfy most people. There's always a decent atmosphere, and kids can run around outside in their play space while parents watch from the beer garden.

Great steak every thing was good for our family of seven. Will have to visit again to give more stars.

We moved to the area a couple of years ago, and this is one of the best places we’ve discovered. Proper pub with great food and the live music adds to a great atmosphere. Must go place, and the service is lovely. 5 stars!!!

Food is amazing, went a few days ago and had a chicken and bacon salad, the lady i went with had a burger with fries, the meals were very tasty and yummy

Well, I'm so used to going out for dinner and receiving poor food my expectations aren't very high anymore. What a refreshing change. Went for Sunday lunch with 15 family members. (preordered) All 16 of us were happy with the food and service. The prices were also reasonable when looking at what came with our chosen preordered meats. 3 vegetable sorts. Yorkshires. And a nice well made gravy. Thanks for restoring my faith in a sunday pub lunch. Next good point. The children's meals were a mini version of the adults, which meant no chicken mccrapbits! Why should we serve kids 2nd rate food while we are eating first rate?

Food was lovely as always- service was way too slow we were given nice hot plates that were obviously cold after waiting another 45mins.

Great pub! Chef does a mean fish n chips as well as a superb range of other mains and desserts that really make the most of the fresh, local produce which he goes out of his way to source. They also have a superb range of ales and cyders which put so many other establishments to shame! If you're in or around Beeston, it really is a no-brainer. Go and check this place out. Do it today! Nice pub with a nice outdoor area. It helped that it was really sunny on my visit! They had a lovely selection of traditional ales and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It wasn't too expensive either, all in all, a decent enough pub!

Sunday lunch was lovely with good portions and well cooked and presented.

A very strange pub. To start off with the name? It's like calling an insurance company the nag's Head!. If you're coming in from the A52 then prepare to be confused; you either miss the place or clout a keep left bollard and end up driving through the wall and arriving at the bar which probably isn't a bad idea as at least you catch the attention of the bar staff. (Ok it's hyperbole) If you do manage to actually get into the car park then good luck navigating around the two huge planters going right across the centre or missing the wooden furniture seemingly designed to impede cars being parked in the first place. If you're going to worry about your car being bashed in the car park, then at least you'll be able to sit down in the "lounge" with a pint of beer or cocktail and with shoe repair kit while trying to fix your silver stilettoes that the cobblestones and gravel have divided into fractions. The inside is like a 1970s esque chain pub eater that time or the budget or both forgot. Complete with balustrades in solid oak that wouldn't be out of place in The "Munsters"!. That first impression out of the way it's quite cheery place with some good food and good beer and seemingly very pet friendly as there were loads of dogs who were most welcome as long as they kept their owners under control particularly near closing time. To come to Beeston without a visit to the "Commercial" would be like going to London and missing the tower. You would be robbing yourself of a lifetime of after dinner anecdotes. It's a must-see so 5-stars.

Attended a wake here. Nice pub, good service. Parking not great but can use Sainsbury's car park over the road for a few hours. Fuel not badly priced there either.

We had a fantastic roast dinner here this evening. Roast was delicious and portions were generous. Children's meals we're also brilliant and would have been enough for a couple of the adults in our group. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely roast today. The gammon was delicious! The staff, Fin and Sam, could not have been more helpful. Easy to recommend, and will definitely be going back.

Had a really lovely meal here, both steaks were perfectly cooked. My wife has a nut allergy and the chef catered for her really well, the meal was spot on. The bar staff are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back.

Nice place parking isnt great room was nice but shame no beer upstairs and have to go downstairs and soft drinks at least get some non fizzy mixers soft drinks j20s etc bit poor on that but was pleasent staff nice

I've been coming to the commercial for years. It used to be a great local. It's seen many changes, but I have to say that It's now back to its very best. Great beers, well kept. Also the food is some of the best in Beeston. The team are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The pub itself is well laid out with plenty of space. Always look forward to visiting and thoroughly recommend.
