We had the fortune to visit the coffee pot for lunch ...with two very active 5 year olds the play area was fab and felt really safe and they had a great time. Im vegetarian and usually struggle to find good food in pubs but I was impressed that I had great choices and the meal was brill! Really hope the pub does well as I know the family running it really care about looking after people and this is an absolute asset to the village xxx

From my very first visit I was made to feel very welcome and taking into account we are still in outside seating areas the service was really good.I met Natasha (Tash) and Pete just for drinks The first time and lucky for me Tash is a Chardonnay drinker, so we have a lot in common! They started their first Sunday lunch menu on 25th April and I have to say what good value for money. At £10.95 you get everything. I had Beef and my friend had Pork (with extra crackling as asked for) Extremely nice food and will definitely recommend this to friends and family. They have only recently taken the pub over and I'm sure they will do a great job. They are also a dog friendly pub which is great for me and my friends. We are canal boaters and all have dogs so another tick box for the Coffee Pot. I will recommend this pub and its hospitality to everyone.

We moored our narrow-boat near the Yardley Gobion Marina, strolled over the bridge, through the farm, across the main road and up to the village. It takes about 20 minutes and is a pleasant walk, albeit the main road is a bit dangerous to cross as it is like a race track. We reached the Coffee Pot Tavern and sat at a table to order. We opted for the all day breakfast which was delicious and nicely cooked (even though they forgot the mushrooms I said I would still give them 5 stars). It is worth the stroll up to the village to eat here and we also looked at the delightful village church whilst we were there.

Stayed here for one night on business. Beautiful country village pub. Excellent and friendly service and the quality of the food was 5*. The home made pies are a must. The bedrooms are plenty spacious enough and very clean. Look like brand new bathrooms very tastefully decorated. The only problem for you is there are only 2 rooms so you need to get in quick. Excellent value for money and highly recommend this establishment.

The pub only has two rooms and mine was really modern, clean and comfortable. perfect for a business stopover when you just need a decent place to sleep. I ate in the restaurant, where the menu has plenty of choice, typical pub fare but also omelettes and jacket potatoes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very handy for Silverstone but beware the current A5 closure at Towcester, which meant I had to navigate through little villages point-to-point to reach the Coffee Pot.

We stayed here for two nights for the Silverstone Retro Run. We were in Room A which does have a low beam in the bedroom, however my husband is 5ft 9 and just cleared the beam. The bedroom was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities plus two battled waters replaced daily.I phoned in advance of our stay to ask for soya milk to be available which it was and when we arrived the landlady bought some up to our room in a thermos cup so that I could make a coffee ( I hadn’t asked for the milk, just bought it up to me) The landlady also agreed to make our breakfasts an hour earlier than was advertised which we really appreciated. My husband enjoyed his full breakfast and the homemade pies in the evenings were very nice. Traditional pub food which is reasonably priced. The only thing that I would say is that they have disco music in the bar I think every Friday which wasn’t a problem for my husband as he would sleep through a fire engine driving through the bedroom, however it kept me awake until after 11pm. The land lady said it would finish by 11pm but it was at least 11.25pm before it stopped, which for someone who is a light sleeper and had an early start the following day was a bit of a pain which is the only reason I didn’t rate this as 5 . Overall we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, thank you.

Visited for the first time in many years and first impressions were good. New paint, fresh look and large, tidy garden. But when I asked for a pint of ale, despite there being three pumps, none was available. Their cooler had packed up, apparently. Strange that stouts and lagers were all available cooled. I fear a touch of the Debenhams about this place. If you get my drift.

Tracey was a wonderful host and went out of her way to accommodate our needs - especially getting up extra early to make us breakfast before we headed off to the track. The room was extremely clean and tidy with all your needs catered for. The rooms are small, but space is used to its maximum potential.

A section of an ancient public house converted to a coffee shop. The setting is very pleasant, in the countryside and the ambiance of the cafe is very good with subtle, 'non-offfensive to the ear' music - the owner has put a lot of effort into making the venture work. I ordered a small breakfast with black coffee. Apart from the hash brown, the breakfast was very good, with really nice bacon and sausage. The hash brown appeared to have been fried rather than grilled and was much too greasy for my taste. My big disappointment was the coffee: I drink coffee black and unsweetened. Costing £2.10p, it had an unpleasant taste (for me!) and I sipped but then left it. I imagine it was machine made with freeze dried powder(?). I would happily pay more for a cafetiere of 'real' coffee with a more authentic and pleasant flavour. Given a real coffee and a grilled hash brown, I would happily return here. I wish the owner well as there is a need locally for this.

What a great little pub. Found it on route to Silverstone and so glad we stopped. The menu is a traditional pub menu with the usual burgers, fish and chips etc. Then I noticed the pie menu wow - fantastic. I chose the steak and stilton and my husband the smoked fish pie. They were truly the best pies we have ever had. When we are next visiting we will be back. Oh and the ale was good too :)

Lovely setting and nice looking pub but I wouldn't advise eating here! Food was not good, burnt, tasteless and in general not very nice. Staff didn't ask how the meal was or offer a dessert menu once we had eaten. Once plates had been cleared we didn't see another staff member for the rest of the night. Avoid!!!

I have visited the Coffee Pot quite a few times now, always a warm welcome from all the staff. Have eaten there a few times, the food is excellent. Great place with a lovely atmosphere.

The term 'Tradional Country Pub' is often overused but not in this case. Staying locally our B&B owner recommended the New Inn . We eat there on Saturday evening and the next day for a 'Sunday Lunch'
